Really mixed bag on this game. The artistic features were very pleasing. The tasks were: - minimal - put this here - tedious - do this in exact, specific order - different - figure out where this goes. I can see where the developers tried to insert "new" or "different" so I give them credit for trying. The game is "okay". Or, perhaps I'm just spoiled because of games like Paranormal Files: Trials of Worth and Dreadful Tales: The Space Between CE and Facility 47 (Facility 47 especially where you really have to use your brain. I loved it!) Play the trial, feel whether you're compelled to buy this game or not because I can't recommend buying nor not buying it.

10 years ago the "Best of the Best" got together and brainstormed ideas and when they couldn't narrow the ideas down to a few, they decided to use them all! Yes, this game is about a decade old but WOW. For the record, I have NEVER given a game 5 stars in all categories before! No hand-holding! No hint telling you exactly what to do! No cookie-cutter format! The imagination used for each scene, puzzle and HOG is so wonderfully surprising and varies throughout. There is so much to do that the game seems to go on and on and on... and you have to be careful of gathering too much inventory at once in case you forget where you saw where to put them! Out of the two choices of "casual" and "advanced" I played advanced, and since there isn't a map, simply used the "hint" to see if anything else was to be done in the room before I left. Typically, I don't play with music, so I can't comment on that but the graphics are magnificent. Much thought and work went into this game. Bravo to the creative minds behind it!!!
Lots to do, different kind of HOG, played on "Advance"

Another game I thoroughly enjoyed BECAUSE it isn't the typical cookie-cutter games pumped out. The Hogs were a mix of both find items listed and place items. The graphics are gorgeous! This game has a mixture of super easy, moderate and challenging tasks, especially without a map, but don't let that discourage you because you can "hint" as you go through rooms and on the 3rd "hint" (if I remember correctly) it will show you were to go. Highly recommend this game!

This game is more like a detective-trail-following journey rather than a HOG, which is why I enjoyed it. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy HOGS but I also enjoy the variety of adventure and figuring out things. As some have commented, some thing don't make logical sense BUT that was part of the fun for me! If I were to hide things on people, I'd try to find the most unusual spots to hide things so it would make their search most challenging. Pretty good game, in my opinion.

I felt like I was playing at the level of my niece and her friends; very tweenie presentation. The hog pieces weren't hard so much as they were dark or in dark places. Waste of money for me. Not recommended for adults.

I'm okay with that because it made it more difficult and I really enjoyed the challenge. Enjoyed the entire game actually but if I had to critique it, the ending was like most other games in that it felt like the developers just wanted to get it over with. Not a bad thing, just obvious I was at the end.
Super enjoyed this game because it has quite a bit of content, is fairly long - especially for a SE - and has a decent ending. There's a lot of "landscape" to the game with a minimal amount of back and forth and I didn't feel like the developers rushed me to the end by sending me from one place to another, like a majority of today's games do. Decent game for your collection.

Being an experienced hog player, I was able to figure much out but not everything because the "dream world" is traditionally illogical and this game is certainly based on some developer's dream! I am at odds with this game because it was a different concept from the standard formula-plots of most games but slants more on the side of bizarre, random guessing and sometimes, just "no!" (The air freshener use did me in!) I can recommend this game if you like to guess your way through a game but do not recommend this game if you think logically or if you tend to get frustrated trying to figure actions out. I'm really on the fence with this one! Enjoy and good luck if you do decide to buy.
This game is full of "doing" things, not too much back and forth, has a variety of puzzles, and plays a long game. Well worth full price but certainly a bargain if you buy with a deal or bonus! This game plays like a Collector's edition. The only critique I could say was the "symbols" flashed so you really couldn't miss collecting them all. I also didn't really understand the point of the "secret room" at the end of the game. Even having said that, I HIGHLY recommend this game! Enjoy!
