Thank you gmac1007 for your comment about relaxed mode. Since I am one of those people who like to enjoy games at my own pace without the stress of a clock winding down I was very disappointed to see no option for relaxed mode in this game. Everything else is fantastic though. But since there is no relaxed option I will not be buying. I have enough stress & challenge in my life so when I play my games I like to have fun and relax. For all you gamers who like a nail biting challenge to finish before time is up then this is the game for you. You'll love it. I only recommend this game for people who don't mind the clock. Happy Gaming everyone :o)

I purchased this game a few minutes after starting the demo when I saw that there were two mode choices- "Timed" and "Relaxed". Anytime these building/strategy games have a relaxed mode available it's a must buy for me. Sometimes you just don't want to race against the clock and stress out over a game. For me anyway I prefer to be able to relax and enjoy my games. The graphics are beautiful and the gameplay itself is fantastic. I really really enjoyed this game and wish it had been longer. Happy Gaming!

I love these "House of 1000 Doors" games. I have purchased the two previous ones and am purchasing this one as well. They are everything a HOPA should be. Great crisp graphics; entertaining storyline; lots to do throughout the game; and an interactive jump map that lets you know where you have tasks that need to be completed with inventory you have at the time. I really really hope that there are more of House of 1000 Doors games in the future & that they keep to their gameplay style because I love absolutely everything about it and enjoy them immensely. Happy Gaming everyone!!

Excellent game! Very well thought out. The devs really put their creativity into this one. My only disappointments were the graphics and there being no transport map. The graphics could have been much more crisp and clear; and for me personally, having a transport map is one of the most important features in a game since I hate having to backtrack all over. So those two things were a big bummer for me but everything else about the game was so engaging that I purchased as soon as I finished the demo. I never once lost interest in the storyline or gameplay itself. I just kept wanting to move forward to see how things would play out. The HO scenes were fantastic! They were probably the most interactive HOS I've ever come across and they were really alot of fun. I liked the overall length of the game as well. I like games to be as long as possible & even the bonus chapter was a good length in this one which is so important in a CE. Hopefully if there's another "Shiver" in the works they will improve the graphics and add a transport map but overall I really enjoyed this game & look forward to the next one.

Right away I noticed it looked alot like Royal Envoy so since I really liked both of those games I was definitely intrigued about this one. I wasn't disappointed. In fact, there were some very cute surprises in it that made me laugh throughout. Love the donkeys! :) The graphics are very well done; There are no voice overs but there is dialogue to read through the cutscenes so no big deal on that one for me; The storyline is fairly typical as far as fairytale princess stories go but that makes it fun for all ages; There are lots of incentives to get things done quickly and some helpful bonuses along the way; You have your helpful court astrologer (wizard type guy) who hangs around for a few minutes each level to give you some pointers if you need it but if you don't like him you can shut him up quickly enough. Overall, a really cute and enjoyable game that I purchased before the demo time was even over. If you liked the Royal Envoys then you will certainly be pleased with this game. Happy gaming my fellow fishies :)

I thought the first Sacra Terra was great but this one is an absolute winner. I also loved their other game Forbidden Secrets Alien Town. This game has everything I look for in a HOPA. Great graphics (crisp and clear), a storyline that keeps you on the edge of your seat (especially at the end); No annoying musical sound effects when clicking on items in a HOS or in other areas, just a nice simple click sound; And one of the most important things to me in a game-an interactive map that lets you transport from location to location and also shows which location still needs a task completed. I so enjoyed this game I didn't want it to end. I kept on wanting to collect hearts and reunite souls so they could spend eternity together. I know some people complain about what is CE worthy and what isn't but I think if the bonus chapter is a decent length then that in itself is enough for me to buy a CE. I enjoy having the bonus chapters since its like getting 2 games in one almost. I strongly recommend this game. It was a definite buy for me and a very enjoyable gaming day :) I look forward to more games like these 3 from these devs. Happy Gaming everyone!

I don't know why this game hasn't gotten better reviews. The graphics are very crisp and clear, there's a journal in the form of a computer, and there's a jump map which is one of the most important things in a game for me when you have to revisit previous locations. There are no voice overs but the dialogue is well written so not a big deal. Interactive HOS which were fairly challenging at times as some things are well hidden. The storyline is something different from the recent norm and kept me interested. I purchased after the demo and glad I did because I thoroughly enjoyed the entire game.
Absolutely a joy to play. One of the best games that have come out recently. Normally I don't even bother with a HOPA anymore if it doesn't have an interactive jump map as most of the games are a backtracking mess without it but this game is so fantastic on the whole that I didn't even notice it doesn't have a map nor does it really need one. It has alot to do but in a good common sense way that made me want to just keep going to find out what was coming next. The graphics are amazingly clear and crisp. Lots of achievements and trophies to win/purchase. No annoying music diddlies or weird sound affects every time you click on something in the game or in a HOS (a huge pet peeve of mine) but a nice normal "click" sound effect in this game which I thank the devs for immensely. I was very pleased with every aspect of this game and I will look forward to more games from this dev since I have never heard of them before now and in my opinion they just released a winner! A definite buy for me. Happy gaming to all my fellow fishies =)

This is based on the demo but I did just purchase it and look forward to continuing the game. Graphics are excellent and voice overs are well done. Storyline is a refreshing little love story which is a change from alot of the scary thriller types that I like also. It has a map that you can jump to and from locations which is a big plus in my book! A well done game that gets two thumbs up from me and a fantasy fairytale that is great for all ages.
I've liked all the Golden Trails games and have purchased them all including this third one now. It was definitely worth the wait for it to finally be released and I enjoyed it very much. It has all the great and fun things that I liked so much in the first two games. Lots of things to do and collect with achievements/trophies in abundance! Graphics are very well done; crisp and clear. Voice overs are wonderful. Game mechanics are smooth and flow nicely throughout the entire game. Storyline was probably my favorite of the 3 so far. Overall a nicely done game and lots of fun that is third in the series and hopefully it will have a fourth on its tail soon. Happy Gaming!
