because i needed it to know where to go next. the graphics are really good. i found the story line a bit slim but not too bad. i did figurer out the bad guy before it was officially reviewed in the story.it has more mini games than hidden object so this might be a good game for newbies who are strong on the mini games but fairly new to hidden objects. i only had to get hints on one that i just could not find. after ten min. i had to give in and sure enough felt dumb when they showed it to me as it really should not have been missed. i did have a lot of fun even though there was a lot of tracking from front to back.
even as a newbi, i enjoyed this last in the trio. as a newbi i also figured out that i should not buy any games without a walk thru or strategy because if there are not enough or well written instructions about what you are supposed to do, i will go crazy and want to throw the computer. i liked the fact that once a section is complete, it is done so you won't have to find your way back to it a million times. the mini games were equally as fun.
that's sort of what it's all about, sometimes you win, sometimes you don't. but i was having so much fun, i didn't mind starting over. AND there is a walk thru so if you are kind of new, you have a life line! like i have said before, after playing one of the games, i had to play the other 2! i will play this one again.
i really enjoy the way this is set up so that you have to complete each part before you can go on. story is good, graphics are good, story is good. mini games good! what's not to like? i will replay this game! i did need to go to the walk through but that was a frustration of mine because i wanted to go faster...but i did get better the longer i played.
and while i was newer than green grass, i had fun playing the game and following the story. i did finish this game with a struggle, but like i said, this was one my first games! i know i will play this one again...probably with much more ease now. the art work was lovely with a sound track that does not make you want to scream.

but the music was making me crazy and after 40 minutes of playing i had a pain in my temples and eyes...every game had a sort of haze to it that made you have to strain to see what you were looking for.
if you don't need glasses or have a new script, i would not bother
i did not think it worth the money.
I don't recommend this game.

Agatha Christie - Death on the Nile
Hercule Poirot investigates a thrilling murder mystery and must find hidden clues, interrogate suspects, and much more.
i finished it! but need needed lots of hints...i'd get to the last item on the list and just could not see it! the mini games are good...i have a real problem of pipes (but am improving) and the watch me then you repeat (i am not improving).
i do recommend the game for all christy fan who want to see if you can figure out the ending before the story tells you...with on exception...brand new beginners.
The graphics are grand and I did have good time playing it. It is probably a good starter game for people just learning or young players or people who want to practice their design skills of a future home.
I recommend this game!

Mystery of Mortlake Mansion
Explore the dark halls of Mortlake Mansion and discover its secrets! Break the evil spells and become the owner of the mansion!
I'm fairly new at playing hidden object games on my MAC so get in trouble often. I loved this game. I played the easy game and never (well, not often) got in trouble as the game let me know where I still might want to check out another spot or back to an old one as well as areas that are complete. I sometimes can't figure out how to get from point w, back to point f; especially if i slept in between sessions. It didn't tell me what to look for, just as there was an area i had not explored or might want to look at again or the area is completely cleared. The mini games were as challenging as always. the game always recognized my solution. The graphics are great! o, this is not to say easy...but if you do have to get a hint, you feel like such an idiot for not seeing it! i only had to go to the walk through once when i could not figure out what was wanted on one of the mini games. THAT IS A RECORD! ALMOST A MIRACAL! i never had to restart the game because i couldn't get back to missed section. i don't mind having to restart a game...that part of the game but it was lovely not to have to. I am no spring chicken and play these games to keep my brain active. i love to put jigsaw puzzles together and finding objects has helped me do those faster. my mom was joy filled when she found solitaire on the net. were she alive, i think i would have gone down and spent a could of days getting her involved by first playing the game together and then gradually leave it more and more to her. she would have loved it. I hope to find more games by these designers who made a game for the casual player as well as the expert players.
