I don't know who this game is aimed at, but I found it trite, boring and ridiculous! I had read the reviews that had been written before downloading it, and thought I'd give it a try, as maybe it'd be fun, but not only wasn't it fun, it was pathetic! I played less than 5 minutes of the trial, and then realised that I really had better things to do - like cleaning my kitchen cupboards! Not worth even purchasing on special!
I read a lot of the previous reviews before playing this game, and after reading one particular review, I was expecting this game to be extremely difficult with the HOS. That reviewer was wrong, either their computer has poor graphic ability, their colours/contrast is off, or they're just not very good at HOS, because I didn't find much of a problem with the first HOS at all. Yes, things are very well hidden, but if you are experience with Hidden Object games, you won't have too much problem - you may need a hint every now and then.
I enjoyed the game, and although I won't be purchasing it right now, I may purchase it at another time if it comes on special. I found that there wasn't much challenge in the game, although the HOS were fairly difficult, the puzzles were very simple. If you want something that is just visually appealing and interesting, this game is for you. I've just recently read 'Water for Elephants' and this game had a lot of similarities to that book.
I would recommend this game to anybody who is after a fairly relaxing game, with good graphics, a good story and good music.
I recommend this game!

Department 42: The Mystery of the Nine
Help Department 42 collect nine mysterious and evil artifacts and protect the world! Stop pure evil and save the day!
I gave this game 3 stars, but I would've liked to give it 4 stars - it was a very well executed game, good graphics, good storyline, but what let it down so much was that the HOS were just too difficult. I like my HOS to be challenging but not impossible. In each HOS there were at least 3 objects that were so well hidden as to be practically invisible, and I didn't do one scene without using the hint. Unfortunately the hint takes time to recharge, so I found myself wasting a lot of time on the HOS waiting for recharge, due to the practical invisibility of the objects. Once, even with the hint, I still had trouble seeing the object.
Also, knowing what to do next can be difficult as you have to guess what needs to be done, which I found to be a little annoying. I was disappointed, as this game could've been really good - the mini games weren't overly difficult, but I don't like to spend the majority of my time whilst playing a HOS/puzzle game, searching for objects in the HOS.
I have to say I was disappointed in this game. I expected so much from it. I loved the graphics, I liked the storyline, but I found the puzzles and the hidden object scenes to be just too difficult to make the game enjoyable for me. The hidden objects were, like other reviewers have said, different to other HOS, in that they were 15 to 20 of the same type of object, but they were extremely well hidden, and sometimes almost invisible, unless you moved something else out of the way. The puzzles were practically incomprehensible, even with the instructions, which were also incomprehensible! One puzzle I skipped, and when it was skipped it showed the solution, and I still couldn't figure out how it had reached that solution. This game could've been so much more - they put so much into the graphics, and the storyline was good, but the gameplay just let it down.
I have been waiting for another World Mosaics or World Riddles game! I LOVE Picross style games and I have played all 4 World Mosaics games and all 3 of the World Riddles games, including their bonus puzzles, and I was just waiting for a new game to come. World Mosaics 5 picks up where WM4 left off, and has a tutorial mode for those who haven't played this style of game before, and also tips and tricks, that are helpful even to an experienced player like myself. I would highly recommend this game to any puzzle afficionados out there - if you like Sudoku, you would probably like World Mosaics 5. Now I'm going to get back to playing this addictive game!!
This game had great graphics, and was just spooky enough to keep you on your toes. I played in 'Challenge' mode as I am an experience HOG player, but am not so good on figuring out where to go all the time. I found the Hidden Object scenes to be challenging without being impossible. I could usually figure out where I needed to go next for my next step, but sometimes needed to resort to a hint, which were helpful without being obvious. I would recommend this game to anybody who enjoys both Hidden Object Games and Adventure/Puzzle type games.
I gave this game a try, as it was available for the Daily Deal. I found it a difficult game to play as it had no real direction - it was very hard to know what you were supposed to do next. Often I found objects by accident, and then found they were needed later. Puzzles had no instructions so you had to guess what was expected of you - most of them I had to skip as I had no idea what the final outcome was supposed to be. I played for approximately 30 minutes before I gave up. I wouldn't recommend this game unless you like to guess where you are supposed to move next. The hidden object games were reasonable, not too difficult, but the rest of the game was quite clunky.
