I loved this game - the concept isn't anything really different.... again monsters (although invisible ones) to defeat etc, but the HOGs and the mini games were something new! Watch out for the morphing objects in the HOGs! I played this game in one sitting - it isn't a long game, but it's interesting.... I found some of the mini games a little easy, but they were fun. I'm hoping there might be a sequel!
I recommend this game!

I really wanted to like this game. The graphics were great, the story was interesting, I really like games about ballet, but the game play just annoyed me. The way that objects 'morphed' in the HO scenes was totally off putting. It made it very hard to look for other objects. Also finding the matching runes for dispelling the darkness was difficult as it was often very hard to properly see the one you needed to match. Some people might not have an issue with these things, so I would definitely recommend you try before you buy!
I don't recommend this game.

I've had this game for a while, but hadn't played it yet, and I'm glad I finally did! I really enjoyed it. I loved the different styles of HOPs - it helped to keep the game interesting in that they weren't your usual 'lists' or 'FROGs'. I found the mini games and puzzles to be interesting without being impossible. I've enjoyed the other Phantasmat games before this one, but this was the best by far. Looking forward to the rest of the games in the series!
I recommend this game!

I know I'm not the first reviewer to say this, but the broken English in the game was a little off putting at first, but once I got past this, I found the storyline and gameplay were good. I wouldn't pay full price for the game, but as it came out on a sale day, I purchased it. It wasn't overly difficult. One thing I did find was that if you were stuck, the hint didn't always point you towards what to do next - it would point at something that you still needed an item to continue with. This could be a problem for some people - I tend to be overly reliant on the hint button at times, so it kind of forced me to think a little more.
I recommend this game!

As soon as I saw this, I purchased it without even worrying about the trial, as I have all of the other World Mosaics games and love them. I like the storyline and also it doesn't take too long before the puzzles get challenging which is good for a seasoned puzzler like me. Highly recommended to all 'picross' or 'cryptogram' style puzzle lovers! Now if the makers of the World Riddles puzzles could come out with another game I'd be one happy puzzler!
I recommend this game!

I have both of the other Fear for Sale games (McInroy Manor and Sunnyvale) and this one is definitely my favourite. I didn't have the Collector's Editions of the others, but I was glad I did with this game - finding the morphing objects and the collection objects really added to the gameplay. And having the final chapter to round out the story was great also. The map feature was extremely helpful, enabling you to jump straight to where you wished to go, and also acting as a memory jogger, when you picked up an item but couldn't quite remember where to use it. I definitely recommend this game to all HOPA enthusiasts.

I enjoyed this game a lot more than Fear for Sale: McInroy Manor, as the HOS were a lot easier, and nowhere near as frustrating. I found the HOS in McInroy Manor to be practically impossible. This game was interesting, with a good twist at the end. There was a lot of going back and forth - a map would have been handy. Mostly HOS with a few puzzles - an enjoyable game all round and I'm looking forward to playing the next Fear for Sale game!
I recommend this game!

This review may contain mild spoilers. I wanted to enjoy this game. It's Bonus Punch Monday and I have a lot of punch card credits to use, but I am undecided as to whether to use one or not for this game. I found the game difficult to follow, not really knowing where to go next and the hints were next to useless. I found myself stuck at the front door forever, trying to figure out what to do next, and all the hint told me was to go to my inventory, but I had nothing in the inventory that helped me, as I hadn't taken the broom from the snowman. Also I never would've thought to use the broom as a step on the tree (any normal broom would break!) - if it hadn't been for somebody mentioning that in the forums I would've again been hopelessly stuck. This game seems to me that it would be one that I constantly need to refer to the walkthrough for, and that's no fun. Plus I skipped both puzzles I came across, as they were the type of puzzles that frustrate me to no end. Now, in the process of writing this review, I think I've made my mind up - I won't be buying this game, even with a punch card credit.
I don't recommend this game.

Another very short instalment in the Dream Chronicles series. I was disappointed with Book of Air, and Book of Water was again short and quite simple. The dream pieces were very easy to find and once you've filled your spells, the pieces just add to your final score. The puzzles weren't very difficult. I believe that the developers really should've released these 2 games as one - having played the first 2 games, and found them exciting and challenging, I purchased Book of Air and Book of Water without even trying the demos. I truly believe that the developers better lift their game, or any future releases will again be a disappointment, and they will lose their followers.
I recommend this game!

I played this game in about 2 hrs! Compared to the first 2 games in the series this was very short. I couldn't believe that it was actually over. I enjoyed the game because I love the series, but I was kind of disappointed in the length of it. Judging by what some people are saying Book of Water is also short. I'm hoping that Chosen Child isn't quite so short, or I will be quite disappointed. I agree with others, Book of Air and Book of Water should've been combined into a 2 part game, as one purchase - this one seemed to be not worth the cost of a full price game.
I recommend this game!
