Travel from the deepest trenches of the Atlantic Ocean to the awe-inspiring wonders of Mars as you solve the greatest archeological puzzle known to man: the origin of Atlantis.
Ethernal Journey: New Atlantis Collectors Edition really pushed the envelope into casual gaming. Awesome cut scenes, beautiful graphics, challenging enough puzzles and the HO scenes were actual pleasant and not tedious. I always like when there isn't an over-clicking penalty. It is very annoying.Instead of just an observer, I found myself becoming very involved in the story. Developers are really listening to causal gamers and giving us a quality games that stretch our imaginations. I don't need to say again what so many other reviewers have so adequately stated about the game play. I just hope that more developers continue to go in this direction of casual gaming. Look forward to more games of this caliber. Sequel? I hope so.
Wow! What a stellar game. From beginning to finish, this game is one of the best games I played. Stunning visuals, clear, crisp voice over and music fit the tempo of the game superbly. Even the HOs were fun and not the often small, insignificant junk piles. The mini games were new and fresh and challenging. Really gave my brain a challenge and a good feeling of accomplishment when I could finish them without the help of the strategy guide.
Great work on this project developers. What a fresh idea going into the tortured mind of a young girl. This game had me hooked immediately. I played into the wee hours of the morning. Collector's Edition a must to find out what the future holds for the young girl.
Thank you all who worked on this project to give hungry gamers a break from the mundane. Hats off to Big Fish for bringing us so, so many awesome and thought provoking games.
Stellar game! Impressive graphics, beautifully drawn, storyline exceptional ( nightmarish, scary, waiting for something to jump out at you). This game really had my adrenaline pumping. Just the right balance of hidden objects, puzzles and mini-games. Mini games vary from very easy to somewhat complex. No penalties on over clicking. Woo-hoo to that. Eerie music fades in and out. Great comprehensive map that minimizes back-tracking to previous scenes. Also lots of help if you get stuck. Hints will give you help on what to do next and then there is the strategy guide. No shortage on help if you need it.
Fishies, if you haven't tried this game yet, give it a whirl. Lots of challenges and twists and turns to keep it interesting throughout the game.
The visual and sound great and if you love HO games well you are going to be pleased. However it is the same old story again. I probably should not have began this game after coming off of two super adventure games that really had me smiling. Not being a Hidden Objects game fan and especially one with overclick penalty, this game just had me cringing. Fun factor: Ah, I would have to say "painful". Just too, too much Hidden Objects and not enough substance for this fishie. This is a no buy for me.
Welcome to Top Secret Finders. Your first mission is to save a small town, uncover the truth about a government conspiracy and stop the villain in his tracks!
A fun game for the adventure lover with just the right amount of HO scenes and puzzles. Puzzle were not hard to figure out but some took a bit of patience to get through. The acting was not the best and the cut scenes a little unconvincing. You find yourself in a town devoid of people. As you explore, you will see ghosts playing out gruesome scenes from the past. Your job is to find a way to reverse time travel, destroy a mind control device and save the people of this town by changing history. Lots of backtracking to previously visited locations but if you prefer you can use the hint system to take you directly to the next clue location. Not a difficult game but loads of entertainment. Try it, you might find you will enjoy it as much as I did.
Rescue a young girl from the Penumbra Motel. Solve puzzles, unravel a long standing mystery of death and disappearances in this heart-pounding adventure game!
BF gamers have asked for something different and Dark Alleys hits the mark. The storyline and theme are rather dark and at moments have you jumping off your seat. Lots of ghosts, a deranged psychopath , a creepy house and hotel with lots of rooms to explore. I liked that there was no time wasted on randomly digging through piles of useless junk. As you explore you find items that will be put to very creative uses. A puzzle packed game with plenty of exploration and adventure.
Challenge yourself in the role of the scientist-historian-scholar of ancient civilizations and mystical legends and save your friend from the Demon of Darkness!
Can't say to much more than what has already been said about this fabulous game. I haven't played Temple of the Night but I will definitely check it out. Lots of time went into creating this game. The graphics, voice over, cut scenes are above par. I enjoyed going between worlds. It was great the way the devs had the room change. Lots to do, challenging puzzles. Might have to use a hint or two as some of the puzzles had me scratching my head.
Fishies you said it all on this great adventure game. I am having a great time solving all the puzzles and mini-games. More adventure than HO. Nice twist on finding the HOs that are scattered throughout the various scenes visited. Not to difficult to find once you know where to look. I just can't get over the abundance of puzzles and mini-games to solve. I am a happy camper thanks to BFG and the devs. I will have to check out Tiger Eye - Part I: Curse of the Riddle Box next. Back to the game.
I read the reviews on this game and knew I was going to like this one. Finding and combing items from different scenes to progress in the game was right up my alley in fun. The puzzle challenges were great.
I really love adventure-type games and Malice: Two Sisters is what I have been waiting for. Not being a big fan of mindless clicking, I have to say, the HO graphics were beautifully done and appealing to look. Just enough to find to not get bored. The robot help on items that needed to be removed was refreshing. Saved time on not having to find yet another key or handsaw to move into another scene. Purchased the game as soon as I was done with the demo. Lots of puzzles and the use of strategy made the game play enjoyable. Done with the game so going to go back and play it again in Hard Mode.
Although the story (an evil witch, a young woman trying to rescue her captive lover is an all to familiar setting) I really did enjoy the game.
The scenes are breathtaking. Lots and lots of puzzles. I like that some were challenging. HOs were easy to see. Music and sounds matched the theme of the story. No voice-overs
The story doesn't disclose who the Ice Witch is and why she wants to turn the world into ice. Maybe there will be a sequel. I guess we will have to wait.
