there is a hint system that takes about 45 seconds to re-charge. i don't think the skip is as long. the map only shows your choices of where to go from where you are by displaying arrows on the scene. your sister is teaching at a girl's school and keeps in touch but it has been awhile since you have heard from her and decide to go there. the people there are asleep and they don't wake up. you find an amulet and some instructions and you enter the dream of the person in the coma. like i said i wasn't impressed with this game. some of the HO scenes are crowded and dark and hard to find items needed the mini-games were beyond me for the most part. it looks as if there may be a sequel..........others may like this game. i didn't care for it. i finished it so this review is based on the whole SE game. i will recommend it because not everyone has the same taste. try it first in my opinion. of course i did and still got it.
there is a journal. the hint system is good. you are sarah pennington and you travel to the past to try to change things but your vessel "the royal griffin" is damaged and you are stuck there and are trying to get back to the future. the HO scenes aren't too bad. the mini games are challenging for me but probably not others. you have a small friend that travels with you that has powers you don't have. he gets stronger as the game progresses.
your friend is changing into another person entirely and you can't figure it out. you go in search of answers and try to figure out what is going on. there is a custom level and a great hint system. there is a diary. some of the HO scenes are really crowded and hard to find the items. i had to use hints more in this game than i normally do. it is still a great game. it has a good length to it and it not a waste of money. you go to different scenes and through different portals, but sometimes you find yourself going back through the portals so put on your walking shoes or use the hints to get where you need to go. sequel...it could happen
you were meeting up with your partner when someone shot him in front of you as he was meeting you. he told you something about the "blue veil" and so you are trying to find out about it. he said not to let "someone" get ahold of it. now you have to figure out what is going on and who to trust. it all starts with a meeting he had scheduled that you attend in place of him. there is a custom level and a good hint system. there is a map and a journal. oh, and it is set up for a sequel. it ends abruptly. at least i thought it was abruptly. good game though.
there are 3 levels of play....no custom. the hints/skips are not too long. there is a map. the hint system is good and will teleport you when necessary which is a good thing because there are scenes that you return to time and time again. you are working with "death" to help change history. he is to make sure that those that are trying to cheat death do not succeed. all life has to end in order for new life to begin to keep balance in the world. "death" sends you on a journey to find these people that are fighting death and to correct it and then after your first mission you have others. i thought the game was over but it is not that short. some of the HO scenes aren't that clear and dark around the edges and that is why i gave this game 4 out of 5 stars on visual/sound quality. sequel............i can see it!!
has a custom level and a very good hint system. it will teleport you, if necessary. you are in the netherlands and these flowers are taking over people and putting them into comas. you need to fix this and you uncover another problem......shady dealings with the big wigs there. european mystery..............sequel? it's possible.
there is a custom level. the hint system is good. it will take you to where you need to go if the place is not close. you play as a detective, of course, trying to figure out what is happening at the carnival and how all the banks being robbed are connected. there are different kinds of HO scenes and i needed hint help to complete some of them. this is another in the dead reckoning series so i feel there will be another one.
I recommend this game!

Subliminal Realms: The Masterpiece
Albert's worst nightmare becomes reality when a creature from his grim paintings kidnaps his family. What does she want?
there is a custom level and an interactive map and diary. a painter, alex, has his paintings come to life. He didn't finish one and "solitude" was mad and took his wife and child into the painting. he had to finish his paintings (which he wasn't known to do) in order to enter them and go after his family. this is a fun game. another one......i think so. this could go on for a while with different scenarios
it has a custom level and an interactive map. you are playing as a detective with the league of light on another case. you get to choose if you are male or female. you go to stoneville looking for a fellow agent that hasn't been heard from. it is a strange place where stone statues jump out at you. you have been recruited to to find her and the artifact that she stole and bring both back unharmed. you find her and she begs you to stay away. you can't do that. you have a mission to do and you intend to do it. when you finally do get to talk to her she tells you why she has done what she has and she is trying to save her husband and now you are trying to save both of them. a very good game. it took me a little over 4 hours to finish it. i am sure there will another one.........
it has a custom level, and an interactive map. good thing because there would be a lot of traveling if there wasn't one. the graphics in this game were awesome. i just didn't care for the game. there were some HO scenes and i had a lot of trouble with the mini games. i don't do logic games well, though. i can see where the other reviewers liked this gme a lot, but i just didn't. i am sure others will like and should give it a try before deciding against it. i did the free trial before i bought it and still bought it at a later time. this is the secomd one in the series. i don't remember the first one.
