I thoroughly enjoyed this game (demo) although on checking the walkthrough to try and determine length of game I was disappointed to note that I had in fact completed just over half the game in the hour demo which probably makes the total length at 2 hours max. If it ever comes on sale then it's a definite buy but won't pay full price for such a short game.
Unfortunately this has to be the only game I have regretted purchasing, even though I got it at DD sale price. The small objects and moving screen give me a headache. I will persevere but it is not a game i can happily sit and play for any length of time so will have to complete it in stages.
I don't recommend this game.

Masquerade Mysteries: The Case of the Copycat Curator
Help P.I. Joy Black find items and turn them into disguises and gadgets to catch a corrupt curator that is stealing from her father!
Not my cup of tea at all. The HO scenes were okay although there were more than the usual amount of items to find at any one time which grew boring. Certain items went into an inventory which when it came time to use them opened up into a junk pile. You had to move items out of the way to find the one you wanted. Not my idea of fun and I deleted after 10 mins into demo.
I have just spent quite a few pleasant hours playing this game from start to finish. I used no hints and did not refer to the walkthrough and nor did I skip any puzzles. I am therefore unsure why some reviewers have advised that this game is short as in my opinion it is not. Well worth the money. I agree the ending was a little abrupt but I wouldn't have thought the CE at double the price could offer much more to justify the extra cost. The music started off great as did the background noises but about half way through I turned both of these down as they got a little irritating. I did leave the voiceovers turned up which were okay. The 5 stars I gave for visual/sound were simply for visual. This is the second Fear for Sale I have purchased, played and thoroughly enjoyed. I look forward to the next.
This is a simple point & click HOG with puzzles thrown in which were beyond boring. However, when it came to using items from the inventory you had to drag them to the place you wished to use them and I had never come across this technique before - didn't like it. The graphics were disappointing for such a new game. There were no voice overs which would have been preferrable to having to endure reading the awful dialogues. This review is only based on first 25 mins of demo so I look forward to reading whether the game got any better!
... and had a great chilling day playing this game. I didn't sit and play non-stop from download to game over so it has took me all day to play so can't really comment on the actual length. I found the HOS and puzzles great fun - not too hard and not too easy. I don't mind re-doing the same HOS a few times in fact I enjoy when a game has you do that. I would recommend this game to anyone and especially at this sale price (you've got just short of a week to grab this bargain!).
... but I found this game absolutely awful. Maybe I didn't give it a long enough chance but after playing 31 mins of the demo I simply had to give up and uninstall before I lost the will to live! Boring. I do however look forward to reading other reviews to see if I am in the minority on this one. I was a bit surprised to note that as this was being sold as a DD, it had no previous reviews.
I don't recommend this game.

Sherlock Holmes and the Hound of the Baskervilles
Charles Baskerville is the latest victim of a centuries-old curse! Help Holmes break the curse before the next murder occurs!
I'm only an hour into this game and just know it's going to be fantastic. I won't repeat what everyone has said but will simply say this is a brilliant game at a brilliant price (I got it on DD!).
I thoroughly enjoyed this game and for me it had just the right amount of everything in it, HO's, puzzles. Yes you had to backtrack a few times but not so much as to be irritating. The only disappointment was the too easy final puzzle and abrupt ending.
