I hate when I have to click click click and this is all this game is. I got up to number 42 in the first picture. That was the first 42 small areas I clicked on to apply the first 42 colours. I didn't even have to search for any of the areas. They just flashed before my eyes. I just couldn't bear to proceed any further.
This played like Paint by Numbers not Art by Numbers. The pictures are dire compared to previous games. I have in fact just done some of my Paint by Numbers and I enjoyed those more than this new Art by Numbers. What's going on?
I love this series. They do people like no other - please don't stop. The paintings turn into photographic marvels. My only downside is replayable value for me is after painting number by number, I like being able to paint colour by colour and so when I pick a pale colour and it turns into pink I'm a bit unhappy that it's spoiled my flow of colour.
Whilst this is another good game developed by GrandMA Studios, in my opinion it should not have the MCF title. It's just another detective game and I would have probably enjoyed it a bit more if it didn't come under the MCF brand. I'm disappointed to be honest. We wait all year for a MCF and the series is being ruined. MCF is well known for its intricate puzzles but it's lacking here, yet again. Maybe time to pass the reins again?
I loved this game. I won't repeat any of the earlier reviews but I would just like to jump in and mention a feature which hasn't been mentioned yet. There's an option to single click on a big area of like numbered cells and they will be filled in entirely. (A slight improvement on the Pixel Art function of double clicking - one less click is a good thing for me). Great for the big areas. I swapped between that and the biggest brush to capture the single cells. Great game.
I love logic puzzles and I'm always on the look out for more. Unfortunately, this game is too much like sudoku for me. A game I personally hate. I completed 3 games in the 8 minutes I demo'd and couldn't face doing any more. Enjoy if it's your thing but it's just not for me. As always, try for yourself.
This would have probably been a great game if it hadn't been released as a Mystery Case File. As such, I was immensely disappointed. What happened to the puzzles that MCF are so famous for? If you can't do them, then you shouldn't be releasing the game as a MCF. Time to pass the ball again I think and hope the next dev can bring back the gameplay we are used to in a MCF.
I hate clicking games and this is one of those where you have to click click click to get anything done. You can click and drag if like numbers are together but those are few and far between. Not for me but as always, try for yourself.
