This Mayan Prophecies edition was good to play, not fantastic but not really bad either. I've seen better graphics in other games for sure but some of the artwork was pretty good. The cutscenes for the most part were a little blurry. It seemed to be CE worthy with the combination of collecting morphing objects, clicking on things that turned into hummingbirds and getting some achievements. There may have been a few more HOS's than I would prefer but that's ok when you also have the option to play mahjong like this game offered. Seemed to be a fair balance of mini games to HOS with neither one too difficult. I will probably consider purchasing this one with a discount offer.
I always look forward to what the next theme is going to be in this collection of games of which I have all of the previous ones. This one doesn't disappoint either. This time Lincoln is asking for help to find the confederate treasure so the story line is interesting right away. You pick up the typical clovers for collection and ravens for hints once again but you are also throughout the game having to collect so many of certain items to use. I loved a new twist at the beginning of the game where the ghost of Lincoln asks you to do something so that the HO item list becomes visible to read so I haven't seen that before and I liked it. I only played the demo so far but the puzzles are fairly easy but good and not sure how worthy as a CE this will be but I'm pleased with the game overall.
This is the most awesome game I've played in a while! First of all, it begins with such a cinematic opening that grabs you and pulls you into the story. The graphics are beautiful and the voice overs are pretty incredible, not cheesy sounding. This is truly worthy of being a CE because it not only offers all of the bells and whistles but probably more than any CE I've seen and that's saying a lot. There are achievements out the kazoo to earn and then several kinds of collectibles like ethereal butterflies, illusive objects and evidence. There was so much to do and look out for which made the game exciting. The HO scenes were very clear and of nice varieties like silhouettes that you find and use, and regular interactive HO's but with the option of a matching game instead. I only came across one mini game during the demo so far and it wasn't difficult but it was somewhat challenging. The interactive map is good and I like when it shows you where the tasks to be done are. I especially enjoyed how you had to talk to a prisoner locked in a cell door of which you had to collect circular pieces to put into the door to eventually open it and as you speak to him he helps you solve this mystery. The cut scenes are very well done also. No complaints or negatives about this game as far as I'm concerned and I'm sure the CE without a doubt is a must to buy so forget about waiting on the SE to come out! Enjoy!!!
This game overall seemed "old school" compared to what some of the great developers are putting out these days so I didn't have to play the demo very long to know this wasn't for me. Pretty hard to have to scale down to what seems to be back to the basics when you've been spoiled to some fantastic HO/adventure games. I'd rather not comment too much on games like these, just move on!
This sequel was alright, not outstanding though. I think I liked the first one better. At least with this CE you do get achievements and collect posters along the way. I still don't like the fact that you have to pay so much more just to get these two extras and I never pay attention to the "not needed" extras like wallpapers, music, etc. but I'm so spoiled to the CE's that now I don't care so much to buy the SE's. Please BF, could we have the "bells and whistles" in all games at the regular club price? Anyway, this game overall was ok and somewhat challenging.
It should have been a tremendous achievement, but the tunnel through the Ridge of Leviathan became the site of a great disaster. What really happened that day?
This sequel of Surface shows some improvement with the newly added "Pantheon Treasury" feature. I only played the demo but did make it into the first pantheon treasury by collecting 30 flowers along the way. I think I'm really going to like playing the whole game so I'm putting it on my list to add to this collection. Graphics are always so bold and clear along with good VO's and mini games. Elephant games typically doesn't disappoint. I'm pretty sure the CE will be worth the buy and I'm thinking the SE just won't be as much fun.
Someone has stolen two powerful magic doves from your kingdom, and the consequences could be disastrous. Embark on an extraordinary journey to stop the thief.
For a "fantasy" type theme that this game has, it's pretty good even if you don't particularly care for fairies and such. I didn't care so much for the beginning cutscene's quality but after that, the graphics were stunning. Great playtime! Enjoyed the HO's as well as the mini games. Will definitely add this one to my list of CE's to buy.
I love everything about this game! The intro grabs you right away and the cutscenes keep surprising you throughout the game. VO's are very good. Games like this are "movie quality" and suck you right into the heart of the story. Mini games are unique and HO's are typical but easy to find objects. I enjoy picking up the little statues along the way and always like getting achievements. A really cool thing was playing several mini games within a book which I've never seen done in games before. Not surprised at the amazing quality of this game since it's by Elephant devs. Played advanced mode and it wasn't too difficult. Great game!
I'm sorry but I personally don't care for these Eipix games. The style and mechanics just seem "cheesy" and not as well developed as compared to Elephant and ERS games. So I don't have much to comment on since I'm automatically turned off once I start to play the demos. I've given them a few tries only to see the same results. Why is it that BF seems to be putting an awful lot of this developer's games out here recently?
I don't recommend this game.

Sable Maze: Norwich Caves Collector's Edition
Your students have gone missing during an expedition under the university. Can you track them down before the water rises?
This is a very well done game! I like the theme and it just draws you into the whole story. Not every game can do this. The graphics were great and sound effects are done well. It's challenging enough to keep you thinking with what to do next and even the HO's are not the typical ones because with these, everything you pick up has to be utilized instead of just using a few items. They were a little tough at times to figure out. I always enjoy collecting items along the way and you get to collect students' things for their collages. You earn achievements as well and I think this is the first time I've every noticed getting an achievement for completing a mini puzzle before your skip button recharges, so that was new and fun. This will be a definite purchase for me!
