I haven't written any reviews in a while but when I saw this new MCF, I had to immediately try it out and write about how happy I am to see another MCF come out! I have all but one of the MCF games and that's only because the one with Lea Thompson that got such bad reviews was indeed not like a typical MCF game. I haven't played the whole game yet but so far it seems to have all of the right stuff to make it fun, interesting and yes, challenging. It took me quite a while to figure out the first puzzle but these kind of puzzles are what I've always loved about MCF games....they make you really think. I also like that there are extra things to look out for which is always appreciated. Can't wait to finish playing so that's it for now!
I recommend this game!

Very good cinematic scenes, voice overs and great mechanics of the game. Enjoyed picking out the clues as I
investigated each person I spoke with to tell whether what they said was the truth or lies. Have an evidence/suspect journal and lots to do with adventure along with an HO scene every once in a while which also had a morphing object in each scene. You look for stars to collect and earn achievements along the way. Some may not care for the style of graphics that this game has but it's a fun game to play if you can overlook that part. It seems worthy of being a collector's edition.

I'm just disappointed in the latest Hidden Expedition games. I've collected all of the former Hidden Expedition games which I have always loved but they have changed quite a bit and lost the uniqueness that they once had. Just like the MCF games, the developers strayed away from the classic
way they were made and saw how people in general did not care for the changes. Just as with the last MCF coming back around to it's original intention, I'm hoping the same happens for Hidden Expedition series.

This was absolutely the best of the series. From the beginning the opening scene was remarkably real looking and the voiceovers are very well done. Even the background music was appropriate. Storyline is great to follow along with. HOS are very clear and interactive. Mini games are very good as well. So much to collect with morphing objects and different categories of collectable items. Achievements to be earned as well. This is a great CE packed full of things to keep you busy and interested. A definite buy for me!
I recommend this game!
The seven deadly sins have plunged peaceful Riddlestone into chaos! Rescue the royal family and save their people from destruction.

I especially liked the theme of this game which makes for an adventurous game. All was done well in the development of this game including the graphics and sound. Nothing so much out of the ordinary for a CE but all was good. HOS were pretty normal and the mini games were somewhat challenging. Crowns to collect and figurines along with some achievements to earn. Obviously a dark theme but a good kind of scary! Great game for my "ominous" collection!
I recommend this game!

No doubt about the fear element for this game. Between the music and the cutscenes, this game did a good job of drawing you in expecting to be scared. Overall though I wasn't thrilled with the play of the game itself because it was a little boring to me. You collect figurines and earn some achievements. Seems like this type genre would have been better at least with morphing objects and a bit more to do. I only got to play the demo so maybe there's a lot more than meets the eye. Mini game that I played was alright and HOS were typical but good. Have to think about whether it would be a buy for me or not.

I really enjoyed everything about this game. It had everything you should expect from a CE. From the beginning, an exciting opening! Great graphics, music, voiceovers with plenty of adventure. There is such an eerie ambiance throughout the whole game. You collect spirits and elusive objects. You earn achievements and the HOS give you an option of playing a dominoes game which is pretty tough. Mini games are challenging but not too difficult. Wonderful developed game that is so much fun to play! A definite buy!

Even though the graphics were well done and in great detail, I didn't like the fact that it didn't fill the screen. I just don't get the same impact when the whole screen isn't filled in. Maybe it's just me but this game looked a bit old school compared to what we've been used to seeing nowadays. Not much to say about this one since I didn't care much for it overall.
I don't recommend this game.

Good ambiance with music and voiceovers. Enjoyed the mysterious feeling of the game. Not an outstanding game and nothing really unique about it but good to play. HOS were good but typical. You collect roses and earn some achievements which are standard for the CE. Mini games are typical as well but fun to play. Just enough adventure to peek your curiosity to continue playing. Not sure I would want to pay the CE price so I may wait for the SE if I consider purchasing this one.

This guy with the blue flaming eyes is a bit scary! Graphics and cutscenes are great and overall very good gameplay. Nice variety of HOS as well and mini games are fun to play.
Always like to collect something and in this case it was masks. Lots of achievements to earn which are always a plus for me. Glad I did the tutorial to understand the crystals to be charged and what to do with the jewelry box in creating things. Even though this game isn't outstanding, I definitely recommend playing.
