Basically you are guessing what pictures are as the wizard's pen gives you little peeks at what something is. Along the way you earn potions to help you such as a potion to enlarge the square that's being erased and giving you a larger section to see. The quicker you guess the picture the more stars you are awarded. A cute little game. Glam-ma says it's ok. A great family game.
Basically an enormously cute M3 wherein you match bunnies, chicks, easter eggs and other spring type items. The bonuses are quiet bombs, etc. The music is a nice little tune (sorry I tend to tune out background music). This would definitely be a hit for kids so I am getting it for my grandchildren because of the slight difficulty level. Glam-ma says yes.
The storyline is basically sis won a beauty pageant and jealous twin brother rises in the ranks of town's new wax museum. But what happened to the residents after freaky deaky earthquake. Early on it's not hard to figure that mystery out. But as to the game, it's called "dark" for a reason so the dreariness did not bother me and I have "old" eyesight. The HOGs could be difficult because a LOT of them were interactive and the areas were dark and overly jumbled. The mini-games were relatively easy. The voiceovers were clear and concise for me, although I noticed others complained about this. The hint button recharged fairly quickly. I like to play both the CE and SE free trials when available as I did this time and finished the SE with 27 minutes to spare. I will probably not purchase the CE based on the reviews of the bonus chapter. But, overall, I loved this game and Glam-Ma says go for the free trial, that's what it's there for.
The storyline is basically son takes fiancee to see dad at his request but she gets kidnapped by one of the "faceless ones". Then he finds out that his father and Claire are somehow involved in why this revenge is being brought upon them. The graphics are amazing, voiceovers and cut scenes great. HOGs not difficult - neither are the mini-games. The hint button takes a minute or so to recharge so use wisely. I try to play the SE and CE free trials to compare and didn't use the strategy guide at all. However, after reading reviews for the CE (which I also do) I will definitely get the CE for the bonus gameplay - not the strategy guide. I didn't want this game to stop but, unfortunately, have to wait for my next credit so I can get it - on a limited income - boohoo. But, this Glam-Ma says you HAVE to try the free trial - you won't be disappointed!
The storyline of this game is that you have basically been "kidnapped" by a secret group that is using your paranormal skills for no good and you are going to be "executed" the next day. Therefore, not only are you eager to escape but to help others within the asylum escape as well. The place is old, dank and deserted looking and you have a guardian angel who looks in on you from time to time. I played both the SE and CE and didn't use the strategy guide at all. In fact, I finished the demo with 12 minutes to spare and was all agony because I couldn't save my first person - so close! The graphics are ok, the music appropriate although I tend to tune that out. No voiceovers. The hint button recharges quickly and the HOGs are frequent, easy and not difficult to find items. This would be a great game for beginners on up. Glam-ma says you have to at least try the free trial - it's on my top 10 games to get.
The storyline is very simple - work your way up the ranks of detective by solving cases. Your first case is finding a bottle of special mouthwash which you do in the first HOG - so why do you continue in that country when you've solved the case? The HOGs are very difficult - you have to take a picture of the items and the camera screen is very small and the items are virtually invisible. You do have help from "Kimmy" but she takes time to recharge. Even when I do not care for a game I try to finish so I can give it a truly unbiased review but I could not even finish this game - definitely not for beginners but experts with a magnifying glass may find it fun. Sorry, but this Glam-ma is doing something rare and not recommending this game.
The basic storyline of this game is 4 girls going into the forest to investigate the legend of a old Indian ghost who used to help people then stopped. The graphics are good, no voiceovers - all reading. The music is appropriate for the game - soothing. The girls speak to each other throughout the game and basically lead you through everything and everywhere you need to do and go and see, although sometimes you will need the hint button which recharges very quickly. This is not really an HOG but there are several mini-games. Great game for beginners but I don't think experts would enjoy. Glam-ma says at least try the free trial - it may be just your cup of tea.
The storyline is pretty simple - your friend John has been kidnapped by an evil shaman after getting a map for a mysterious client. The graphics are good, the voiceover clear and strong. Disappointed in the overall scenery - everything was gray, even the gardens. The hint button recharged fairly quickly. The HOGs were more interactive than your typical find the objects but if you got stuck the hint button was very helpful throughout the game. Great game for beginners up but experts might not find the game challenging enough. I got through the free trial with 5 minutes to spare and the game ended and I was promo-ed to find the ending in the full game. Overall, an ok game but not very exciting. Glam-ma says trial the free trial - it' free and that's what it's there for.
So you've probably read the storyline so you know the son has come to town to find his father who has disappeared but there is a lot of mystery. First, he is attacked by a wolf whom he shoots and then is forced to treat a young girl - with a gunshot wound. He begins to find notes regarding his stepfather that begin a mystery adventure about who/what he really is and what his father really was. The scenes were somewhat dark and dreary - maybe a little too much. The music and sound effects perfect! The hint button recharged very quickly which was good in the HOG because they could be quite challenging in that the usual put two things together to find the one you need goes much much further. I managed the free trial just fine so beginners on up to experts would find this game enjoyable. glam-ma says go for it.
What a cute relaxing M3 game. You basically start off with a farm with nothing on it - then M3 farm items for which you earn coins. You also earn money when you drop the little produce truck off the bottom of the M3 screen and fill it up with the items it tells you to. With the money you've now earned you purchase crops, farm animals, bakery, even a day off. The storyline is simple - build your farm, the scenery is bright, the music fine - I kind of tune it out but the sound quality of it was ok. I was ARGH when the free trial ended so this is on my top 5 list to get. Glam-ma says you absolutely have to try this game.
