Nice....love the tales of the deep blue sea! The graphics and sound are really good on this one and there is plenty to do. You've got morphing fishy items, accomplishments (both of which you can go back and look at) , and places galore. The story is fun...searching after your twin brother in your strange seaside hometown. There are fun characters to encounter and excellent monsters of the deep! The HOs are good, with interaction. Some have lists of multiples, like 4 fish, etc, which I usually find annoying, but since they only do this on occasion, it simply makes for added interest. I did not encounter too many puzzles on the demo, but those that I did were fun and easy. There is an interactive map, which will come in handy I think, as it seems to be a spread out game with lots of locations. I kept wanting to go further and further in the short demo time, so I will definitely have to go back and explore more carefully. The hint refills quickly on the casual level. I did not get a chance to look at the SG to see how many chapters there are, because the demo went so quickly...so no idea how long this game will be. I really enjoyed it, though, so I will be purchasing it ASAP, me swabbies!

Yuck! I hate this type of graphics, to start with...looks like the items are just sitting on top of photo type scenes. The HOs are not interactive and they are laughingly simple and way too plentiful. You can't seem to turn off the hand-holding narrator, who tells you what to do at every turn, so you are simply following her instructions....go here, do an HO...go there, do another HO. The mini games (I guess that's what they were supposed to be) were simply following more instructions...no need to engage your brain at all. The music and VOs were annoying and the characters looked like puppets...nothing to collect, nothing to figure out, an uninteresting story...sorry, but no thanks: this ghost needs exorcising!

What...a...boring...game! First off, if you decide to try this, be sure to hit mute; there is no way anyone could possibly stand the wretched dialogue. I have never heard worse voice overs! The story could have had potential, I guess, although an ex-priest and ex-soldier? Possibly, the author has issues as the scenes are full of religious icons, but whatever...that can be overlooked, but this game simply is no fun. The HOs are boring; nothing interactive. There is a lot of useless dialogue (time wasting fluff, in my opinion) and some simple mini games, a transporting map and wishy washy graphics. I mean, come on, it's set in Africa, at least the graphics could be interesting. Alas....I think I would end up in the abyss of despair should I continue to play this!
When the entire audience disappears from a film screening at an old theater, you must go behind the scenes to find out who is running the mysterious Nightmare Cinema.

Wow..this is the best game I've played in a long time! Totally love the story..creepy old theatre with a missing audience. The ambient sounds and background music are so good...a suspense heightening tinkle plus creepy ebbing music: brilliant. I even like the sound it makes when you locate items in the HOs. The extra things to do and find (a ton of morphing objects, plus other things like origami) make me want to play this really slowly, so I can look at everything and enjoy each scene. The graphics are amazing and I love the drawing of the bad guy, he is totally excellent! The mini games and puzzles are fun and not too hard, and the HO scenes are great, lots of interaction, plus there are even morphing objects in them, and you need to look for them, not just stumble upon them with your cursor. Love that! This looks to be a long one, but even if it isn't, it is definitely worth the CE price tag.

What a horrible game! It has about the worst graphics I have ever seen...the characters all look and sound like robots, and all the scenes I saw were completely fuzzy...not that I saw more than about 4, as I got stuck after the first few scenes, and I could not find any help. The scenes roll around with your cursor, which is really sick making. The music sounds like someone plucking randomly on a harp and required muting after about 2 minutes. This could have been a good story, as undersea happenings have lots of potential, but nothing had happened at all, before I became stuck....it was way too slow getting into a story of any kind. Sorry, but I think the best place for this stinker is at the bottom of the sea!!

I fail to see the attraction...I find this a very outdated game with a tired theme. Nothing is really new...everything seems to be a copy of some other game. The HOs are only mildly interactive and they use a ploy I really hate...find 3 of this, 4 of that...I always think that is the lazy way out. I did like the atmosphere sounds and music. There are a lot of HO scenes and while they are nicely drawn they are filled with the same old humdrum stuff. The mini games in the demo are all familiar and not challenging in the least. The story is familiar: crashed car, daughter taken..you have to find her...yadda, yadda. Disappointing, to say the least! And tell me this...why do ALL mailboxes need a flag to open them and why are ALL clocks missing the hands?? Too much of the same ol'...sorry

I bought this game when it first came out, and now I am adding a review after the fact, to warn any gamers contemplating buying this game, that it is great at first, but towards the end it is simply impossible. I hate games where you can't finish, so every day, I go back to it for one level, to see if I can get through. Alas....not to be. The cards are dealt out in so many layers that is virtually next to impossible to get 4 perfects in the nine rounds. The cards just keep repeating themselves; what you have showing is what it will give you. Eventually, you use up all your money trying to finish by using cannon balls...but forget it...it is just impossible...and totally maddening. Beware! DO NOT BUY if you can't stand being unable to finish!

This is a nice diversion from the ordinary. The HO play is nice and quirky...you have to flit back and forth to another time in the same scene in order to obtain all the lost items...love it! The story is sufficiently different to keep your interest and the voice overs and music are extremely good, to say nothing of the animation and graphics, which are incredible! You have a different mode of hinting, if you care to use it as well...a word jumble machine can be accessed, which can assist you to find an item...nice! I liked the mini games, especially one with a lot to it...won't say too much, but it was awesome...beautifully designed and drawn. I am not sure what the CE offers, other than perhaps a bonus chapter, as I could not find any morphing items during the demo..even though one reviewer said they were there; maybe it was just me. Overall, I thought this was the nicest game that has come along in a while, but I will still wait for the SE, I think...but try it, I am sure most will like the refreshing difference.

What a fun game! It has everything...really great story, good voice overs (especially the men), lots of exposition with beautiful graphics..but what I loved the most was the excellent ambient noise and the awesome music. Every little click and stone grinding sound was super, and the movie style music, especially in the intro, added to the overall theme. It is kind of a cross between knights Templar and Indiana Jones. There is an interactive map, but in the demo it was not really needed. The hint button recharges quite quickly and I did need it once in a while, as some of the objects in the HO scenes were quite well hidden. I liked the mini games, although there were not too many in the demo, and I really liked the cut scenes which lead you further into the story. There are no extra items to be found that I could tell, and I am not sure what other extras you get with the CE, so I will probably wait for the SE, but still.....awesome!!

I will probably be the only one who is not too keen on this game, but I have to say I found the whole concept disturbing. Some of the things which we encounter in the heroine's dreams hit too close to home to be fun. First of all, I totally disliked the eye things you find in each scene. The whole thing gave me a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach, but those creepy things totally weirded me out...after a while, I tried not to find them, and hoped I would not even see them out the corner of my eye. Being buried alive, trapped in ice and encountering terrifying clowns was too much for me, and that was only in the demo; can't even imagine what comes next: or maybe I can! Having to catch a beautiful butterfly and then hand it over to a repugnant little beast who promptly eats it made me feel queasy. I'm not saying it's not a well done game or that others will not enjoy it, I just couldn't handle it. I will say, the puzzles were good...sorry for the rest.
