Why are the graphics so bad in this, when the artwork in the first Princess Isabella was so beautiful?? Gogi must have fired all the good artists and replaced them with monkeys!! All the artwork looks unfinished, with sharp edges and overlapping two dimensional images..really bad and disappointing. It looks as if it is still in the drafting stage. Next there is the matter of the VOs....the fairy helper thingy sounds like a squirrel on speed...really horrible and annoying and requires immediate muting! The printing is tiny, the objects and directional scenes poorly animated and too small and the mini games are standard and boring...and how many times do we have to call the dragon using the flute?...really started to get under my skin in a very short time! All in all, a total disappointment...wouldn't have it if they gave it to me!

I used to love playing these big city adventure games...but that was quite a while ago..and they really have not evolved very much. Still...it's a good game for kids, educational as well as entertaining. The mini games are very easy and the HO scenes are good for someone with extremely good eyesight. The information on Tokyo is interesting and the scenes are charming albeit small. Maybe I had a bigger monitor ten years ago. The saccharin family in the intro is slightly disturbing, but once again, children might relate to them if they are very young (the children not the family). All in all, I think I am done with Big City Adventures, but still give it a try...you might find it cute or useful for teaching your kids rudimentary logic skills.

I also found this game very entertaining. You need to stop and think about angles and gauge the velocity of the ball...takes a few tries to learn how fast it will roll. There seem to be a lot of levels and it got quite difficult very quickly (for me anyway...I stink at pool!) but there is a lot to challenge a player and I think lots of people will enjoy just trying to figure out the play....just basically clearing the table of all the pool balls but your own. You can play against the computer or just on your own (which I did)....lots of hours of mesmerizing fun!!
I recommend this game!

I really enjoy this solitaire game. The voices of the announcers are a big hit and the beginning narrator is hilarious; unfortunately, I think, we do not hear from him again . I would have given this 5 stars except for one little bugaboo...the background sounds (crickets, birds, water rushing, waves etc) are just too loud. I needed to keep turning down the volume but then I couldn't hear the announcers. The play is the same as the original Fairway (up and down solitaire). There are awards and trophies to get and there are Golf Bucks which you receive for your achievements, with which you are able to buy things to assist you. Also, for those who don't get bugged by using real money, you can purchase other helpful items on-line using actual coin of the realm. I never pay for anything on 'free play' since it is a pet peeve of mine, but I haven't been hampered by just using the stuff you can buy with fictional bucks...so no problem. So far, the only requirement for unlocking another course is attaining a par or better, not like in Fairway where you need to get large combos after a while. I adore the gopher...who is more of an inconvenience in this Fairway, as he can cart off your clubs and so forth. There are cute interludes in which we can see the gopher plotting his malfeasance in his little lair....love it. This is a fun, colorful and addictive solitaire game...I wholeheartedly recommend it!

I totally agree with the other reviewers on this. You can't see very much and I found my self squinting in every scene. Even the locations that were not HOs were very dark and everything is tiny. The play is too simple, in my opinion. We have come to expect a much higher level of challenge and interest than this game offers...there is not very much interaction with anything. I only came across one puzzle in my trial time...admittedly I didn't even finish the demo...and it was way too simple to be interesting. The only good thing I found was that the hint recharged fairly quickly, which is useful as I couldn't get through even one HO without a hint; objects were so tiny and obscured by the darkness. The story is not bad and as there are no voice overs, you can read the dialogue quickly and advance it with a click. I didn't mind the music, which was of the eerie ilk. Overall, I can't justify spending even a coupon on this....the eye strain is just not worth it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this game...so adorable!! There are 140 levels and yes, it is repetitive..but so what?..most M3 games are. It is completely relaxing, if you play on the untimed mode. It could be very challenging if you play the timed method, as there is a lot of stuff blowing up and obscuring the screen all the time. You are rebuilding Atlantis and have amusing areas to create, such as the Clam Farm, where the clams are planted in the fields. You can earn upgrades for each power item that you buy and there are bombs and squids when you make matches of 4 or more (the squids make ink, which I got such a kick out of, that I made them do it all the time). But...the absolute best part is the ambient sound...burbling and clinking, with a little tin whistle going on in the background...Loved it! You get the blueprints for each area by playing a mini game, which is not very different from the M3 game itself, but is cute, nevertheless. I had every intention of trying the other modes, but the time went so fast, darn it! Anyway, this is my kind of M3 and I can see myself at it for many hours...oh, oh, there goes the housework!

Sorry, but I didn't really like this...and I did enjoy and buy the first in the series. The art work is not up to the original standard, nor is the game play. There is no interaction in the HO scenes, which is unusual in a CE offering. Also, I hate the fairy helper...the voice is unbelievably irritating!! The first game had beautiful graphics, but this one seems two dimensional and lacking detail...so disappointing. Everything is drawn quite small, even the big scenes, not just the HOs. The wand and the flute aspects are way overused..after awhile, it is simply annoying. There are no hidden or morphing objects, and nothing outstanding to make this a CE; not even sure why it is offered that way. Give it a try as you might like it, but unfortunately, I did not.

I found the graphics blurry, the voice overs annoying and the dialogue WAY too long. I chose not to use the tutorial but it still interrupted me with irritating hints. You cannot skip the talking although you can skip the cutscenes. Also, there are a lot of HO scenes and the sparkles to indicate them are really small, so you think you are just walking forward to explore but you open an HO instead...really bugged me! There is a map, but it is not interactive; the hint system refills quickly but is not directional, it actually just tells you what to do next...don't like that. The mini games were very simple...not much fun there. All in all this is a miss for me.

I really like mahjong...so I am being lenient on this one. I am torn between two stars and three. The game is nicely drawn and there are loads of levels...but...it is ONLY mahjong; there is no other type of play between levels. You can play timed or casual which is good...but it does get a bit boring after a while. There are two tile types to choose from and two kinds of play: adventure and solitaire, but the adventure just entails a map of dots to show your progress...not too exciting. Also, if you get stuck there is a shuffle button (undo curse) which seems to be perpetually ready. It tells you when you have no more moves, that your tiles have been cursed, but the printing of this on the screen stays up way too long, so if you are playing timed mode you are trying to look around the darn printing. Also, sometimes it only gives you one move after shuffling, so you have to go through the printing again...that is really annoying! I have still never found a better mahjong game than Leong, the Lost Amulets.
I don't recommend this game.

The worst solitaire game I've ever seen!! Why are the cards so small?? And why did the devs make the print on them shadowy, causing the players to think something has gone wrong with their eyesight?? As there were no directions, unless I missed them somehow, I wasn't sure what the was happening with the special cards. The music accompanying the play was obviously borrowed from the Spanish Inquisition and the play was BORING...if you fail to complete a level nothing happens, it just stops. Couldn't get out of it fast enough and I wouldn't play it again if they paid me big bucks! PU
