I have demo most of the games by this developer, and have not enjoyed them. However, I did enjoy this one.
MY LIKES -- The storyline is pretty interesting -- "Where's the Princess?" I love it when the hidden objects are related to the story. As with most of the games by these developers, the objects are. Most of the scenes are clear. I can't say sharp because some of them could be sharper. I moved quickly through the demo -- played 45 minutes. I will come back and place the rest later. The mini-games while not difficult, I enjoyed playing them -- put pieces of paper together to make a message, organized keys and other objects in the correct order. These are different from most of the mini-games and I like different.
HINTS -- You have two options 1) find the star and get extra hints up to 6 or 2) find the star and get more time. I chose the play the first options. You will need them because some of the objects are teeny-tiny and too blended into the scene.
VOICE OVER/DIALOGUE -- There is no sound-voice over. Great, I can do with it. However, there is a lot of dialogue. I found this not too annoying because the dialogue moves you through the story.
DIDN'T LIKE SO MUCH --Both the music and sound were very annoying -- drums and just plan noise. Some of the objects are just to hard to see, thus the need to use the hint button.
I would recommend this game for novice or anyone wanting to play a less than complicated HOG.
I recommend this game!

My overall rating of this game is one of average. Nothing to jump up and shout about. On the other hand, nothing bad about the game, it's just fits into the average category for me.
STORYLINE-- You've seen it before, release captured souls.
VISUAL EFFECTIS -- Pretty good. Most are detailed and sharp.
HIDDEN OBJECT SCENES -- As always a blend of objects to find, some related to the story and some not. However, most are. There is some interaction in these scenes -- you have to do several steps to complete the hidden object item. Some scenes are a little dark.
SOUND EFFECTS -- Meant to be creepy or eerie, it does that.
DIALOGUE -- It is not part of the sound effects, but the script, which you have to read is pretty good.
MY LIKES -- It's a typical HOG with hidden object scenes, some interaction and mini-games. OK for a boring rainy day.
MY DON'T LIKE SO MUCH -- Having to go back and forth between scenes.
RECOMMENDATIONS -- OK for the beginners, intermediate, or anyone else who likes general hidden object games. Again, nothing new in this game.
I recommend this game!

Well, I don't give out 5s lightly, but this game got my attention right of the back. The voice over pulls you in, and the graphics keep you there. So what all the hoopla? The developers seem to have put some time into producing a game that is almost 3D like graphics. If nothing else, you will enjoy the scenes. The hidden object scenes are also done well. This game required me to stay focused. No spacing out or you will loose your sense of direction. In other words, the hidden object scenes are not obvious, so you have to stay with the story or you will be "lost." You have several different opportunties for interaction. -- During the hidden object scenes, while visiting different rooms, and while in the rooms. So don't forget to look around or you will miss something. Mini-games, yes, quite a few, not too difficult nor easy. Music, can't say, as usual, I turn it off. The game held my attention and my curosity. I would recommend it.
I recommend this game!

I will start off by saying that this game is probably best for young folks. Why you might be asking? First, the graphics are very much of a cartoon nature and something that young people grow up with, less so for us older folks. Secondly, both the storyline and actions are slow. Again, it seems that the speed would be perfect for young people but not for others who are use to moving through a game at the speed of light. But, even for young people, they might get frustrated with the teeny-tiny hidden objects, which lack sharpness in shape and visual location. Is it challenging? Hard to say. I venture to say no regardless of your age. Storyline, not much of one. Fun, not really. I would only recommend this game as a "try it for young people" and go from there. Otherwise, skip trying this game and save your time for something more exciting.
I don't recommend this game.

I love the Build-A-Lot games and have played them all. I I'm loving this one because it very different. It's a quick moving game. I'm not sure that the storyline goes with the building, but, I'm enjoying reading the history of the Titanic which is given before each building level. I've played 8 levels and each level seems to get more and more challenging. Music, I can't speak to because I rarely keep the sound on. So far, I have not run across any upgrades. I think they come later in the game as I see where there are options "locked." You do not have an option to play time or without it. I would recommend that if you like building games, give this one a try.
I recommend this game!

I know that there are gamers out there who want challenge-challenge. However from time to time, I just want to be about mindlessness. This game fits this bill. The graphics were great, which is a first must for me. The sound, I could do without. The same throughout and not very interesting. There a two types of hidden objects opportunities -- Your typical scenes with objects to find and the second type where you have to find several objects to complete a task. You could call these mini-game hidden objects. Speaking of mini-games, there are tons of them. Maybe too many. The good news is that they are not difficult and the skip button fills up quickly. Storyline, there is one but don't get to excited for it's a low key one. But for me, that's OK. Sometimes, I don't care what the story is, just give me something to keep my mind "off of the work" that I should be doing :). I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good hidden object game, with some interaction and excellent graphics. If you want something more challenging, this game may not be for you.
I recommend this game!

The game was very relaxing. From time to time, I want to play a game that doesn't requiring much thinking. The scenes were challenging enough to keep me playing, but not so that I had to work too hard. The mini-games are very easy. Again, OK it you want to play a game that does requiring a lot of work. I can't comment on the sound because I usually have it turned off. Even though it's an easy game, I would have like to know what the scores are. For example, how many eggs or bunnies for each scene. If you want to relax and not have to think, I would recommend this game.

Of the many collector's editions, this is only the 2nd one that I've ever purchased. The 1st one being the first Royal Envoy. While the game play is similar to the first one, there are enough new things to keep you in the game. I've played through level 27, and I had to make myself stop and go to bed. This game is very addictive. It a fast game so get your fingers in shape for the quick clicking needed to get the 3-stars. This is one of the differences in this one and the first. They have made it a very quick and challenging game.
I purchased this game without even checking it out. You will not be disappointed.
Love it! Waiting for number 3.
I recommend this game!
