OK, the storyline has great potentail, but after that, the game becomes a little frustrating to play.
I can't tell if this is a hidden object game or an adventure. It looks like it might be a combination of both . . . but . . . here lies the problem. If it is a hidden object game, you don't have a clue as to what you're looking for . . . even all the dialogue doesn't help. So you find yourself clicking away until you luck up on an object. As a adventure game -- and you might be better off thinking that way -- you are somewhat guided by the dialogue as to what to do, but not really - -sad smiley face.
Speaking off dialogue, it's one think to have to listen to folks talking away, but to have to read all that "talking" kind of gets you out of the mood to play the game.
The mini-games have a mix of some common game types and a few things that are similiar to playing "Dr. House," like following directions to fix someone's cuts on their head.
Descriptive words for this game are -- confusing, frustrating, and finally boring.
I don't recommend this game.

Let me start off by saving that I love TM games, usually the ones were you have to build dwellings ... not the ones where you have to construct sandwiches or pizza ... but ... this is one that I might have to purchase.
There are a few of things that make this game stand out 1) with enough money, you can hire additional helpers, at will. This really comes in handy as the games gets progressively more challenging. 2) From the start of the game, you can make food ahead of time. The challenge will be to make sure that you sell it before the game is timed out or you loose money. 3) This is probably the one thing that makes this game fun to play, you don't have to collect the money earned, which gives you time to focus on the tasks at hand.
Timing options -- You have to begin the game in timed mode. There are two other modes (relaxed and survival# that will most likely becomee available later in the game play.
Challenging -- I only played 35 minutes #will return later) and the game was already challenging. The general challenge of the game is to accomplish the tasksin the given timeframe, so you really have two challenges going on -- complete the task, and complete the task in the given time to achieve the Gold. As you play the game, you have a view of other players and their scores, so you can compare your progress.
Visual/Sound -- The visual was nicely done and the sound, I can't say because I turned it off.
Storyline -- Ellie opens up a Burger joint because her former boss at another joint was poisoning the burgers. That's the story. After that, you're working to build your establishment.
Gameplay -- This is a very quick game. You have to keeping moving. A good game to take you mind off other things you should be doing, like me -- working, cleaning the house, etc. -- :)

If you have not played these games before ... and ... you have avoided purchasing CE because of their low value ... well, this is a game that you should really give a try.
As TM games go, this type game goes right to the top of my list. Construct dwellings, build roads, upgrade buildings, collect power ups, speak to characters ... you get the picture. This game can be addictive ... working to get gold ... waiting for the next villian to show up ... or waiting to 'hear' what the next character has in store for you.
Visual and sound were also great. The art work jumps off the page. While I don't often listen to the sound, with this game and others like it, I play the sound because the beat of the sound track keeps your adreline flowing.
Challenge -- I only played 4-levels before I knew this was a purchase for me and even this early in the game, your task have already become more challenging.
Storyline -- Not much of one, but who cares, I'm having too much fun building and destroying.
CE vs. Standard -- When these games are in CE I always purchase the CE, the extra levels and the inclusion of the strategy guide is worth every penny -- oops! Dollar! --:)
Recommendation -- This is a no brainer for me, it's a big thumb's up!!

Yes, this game is different from the others. If you looking for the usual match-3 (only), or hidden objects (only), this is not the game for you ... but ... if you're looking for a different kind of game that combines the two . . . please give this game a try.
My Likes -- There is a good storyline going on in this game. And the dialogue (not to much to turn you off) guides you nicely through the game. The hidden object scenes have different objectives. In some, you have to find objects before you can go to the next level/step. For example, you have to find pieces of a pulley to start the process of finding the puzzle pieces. After finding the puzzles pieces, you then have access to a room, where you have a hidden object scene. In these scenes, you can find extra coins or jewels to earn extra hints. There is a lot going on and you have to use your grey matter to keep up with things. I also like the fact that the match-3 games are mixed throughout. And yes, before you can play them, you have to find all the pieces to play it.
I'm Surprised . . . that some many reviewers found this game boring. There is nothing boring about this game. Unless you find playing hidden object scenes and match-3 boring.
My Didn't like so much . . . I don't remember being given the option to play relaxed or timed. I would have preferred to have had that option. I like playing against the clock. For some game players, the dialogue might be a "bit much." I was OK with it
Recommendation .... I plan to purchase this game. I played the full 60 minutes and wanted to keep going. As always, I recommend that you give this game a try. I loved it!

I rarely give a game a five, but this one got it all the way. I usually describe my likes and "my didn't like so much." However, with this game, there is nothing that I didn't like.
Fun Factor -- The game was easy to work through. Now this is not to say that it's not challenging, just that the developers seem to know what we like. Hidden object scenes a plenty, mini-games that are different, fun and not so challenging that you get frustrated. You also have interaction not only in the hidden object scenes, but throughout the game. Yes, you have to move between scenes, but you will figure that out without much difficulty.
Visual/Sound -- Both are well done. I usually turn of the sound, but the sound in this game was not a distraction. The scenes are beautifully done. The hidden object scenes are also well done.
Storyline -- I love it and the telling of it is well done.
Dialogue -- Yes, there is some, but you can skip it.
Overall, there are 8 chapters, each with some length. This is a most purchase for me. Sorry, I can't comment on the difference between the CE and this the standard.

I really wanted to like this game. Something new and different ... but ...
Confusing instructions . . . I believe this is the first time that a game like this has been posted on BF, with that in mind, the instructions for "newbies" was confuisng at best and difficult to read at the worst end of the spectrum. From what I could gather, you have a number of puzzle pieces that you have to place on the square and then rotate them until they form a picture. Big problem here -- the picture is not on the same screne as the puzzle. So you don't have an image of it to work with. From the start, you do not begin with any help/hints (the joker).
Tutorial -- There is none. Again, with a new type of game this would have been very helpful.
Storyline -- There is none. For a puzzle game, I guess this is to be expected.
Visual -- The puzzzle pieces are in black and white. Perhaps once you complete a puzzzle, it will be in color. I was not able to get that far. The words are in a font that's difficult to read.
Level of challenge -- I don't know what to say here. It could be an easy game or not, but again, difficult to figure out.

I like it! While the game is not really challenging, it is a good game to play for those who like Hidden Ojbect games with a murder to solve.
WHAT I LIKED -- Lots and lots of Hidden Objects and the story is not bad. Solve the murder case. For most of the scenes, including the hidden object scenes, there is some interaction. What I liked about the interaction is that you're not given much, if any instructions. You have to figure it out. The graphics are pretty good. You also have mini-games (not difficult) so you don't loose your game flow.
WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE SO MUCH -- For the mini-games, once the instructions are provide, you can only see them again by using a hint. The good news is that you do get pentalized for using hints. A little too much dialogue which you can not skip.
RECOMMENDATION -- If you like hidden object games and you just want to relax with out applying too much brain power, this would be a good one to try. I recommend that you try the game and decide for yourself. I'm putting this is my wish list folder.

This is a WOW! game for me.
The description of the game says it all -- defeat the Dark Piper. But, the task to do that is what makes this a great game.
The Game Play -- You have hidden object scenes and mini-games. The HOScenes are colorful and have interaction. Now, the interaction can be tricky because there is interaction to complete a hidden object and than there is interaction for the fun of it. The trick is to figure out which is which.
The Mini-Games -- Are not difficult, but they are different. I enjoyed everyone one of them. Some of them are almost 3-D quality.
Play Levels -- There are 3. From casual to expert (I think). Causal you have sparkers, hints that recharge and skip option for the mini-games. For the 3rd and most difficult level, you don't have any help at all.
Visual and Sound -- I usually turn of the sound. But this time I did not, and I was so into the game that I didn't even notice it. A very good thing.
Play Time -- I played the full demo (60 minutes). I only got through most of chapter 2. There are 5 or 6 chapters, each with some length.
Collector Edtion Features -- The guide and a couple of other features that I don't remember. There is no CE features like finding hidden objects nor morphing.
Purchase vs. No Purchase -- While I love this game, I cannot say that it's worth $13. I will purchase when it comes out in SE. I would recommend that you try it and decide for yourself if it's worth $13 plus.

It's a match-3 game, without much of a challenge. You match 3 or more items, collect resources, and pick-up power-ups along the way. There really is no storyline. You gather resources, but you really don't have anything to do with them once you get them. The power-ups are your usual assortment, nothing new. The game is timed (doesn't not have a relaxed mode). However, you don't need one because the timing is generous. Recommendation-- For beginners only.

This game reminds me of the "I Spy" games. I played the full demo and didn't realize that the time had gone by so fast. This is not a difficult game and may be boring for some. I enjoyed the game for a relaxing, no brainer game. I recommend this game for anyone wanting to play an easy, but colorful hidden object game. However, if you're looking for something to tax the brain, this game will not do it for you.
