This is a very challenging solitare game. Be prepared even at the Junior level to replay some frames many times to try and get a spare or have to use 4 to 6 wild cards to make either a spare or a strike.
Lots of stragety involved -- in choosing which cards if you have options to remove.

This was a fun game.
Does require some thought planning wise to play.
And dialog between the characters is worth clicking through for the laughs.
I highly recommend looking through all the help/info information first -- especially on how the card play goes. Not all of the controlls are 100% intuitive -- but close enough.
Stragety tip -- selecting your battle deck. Don't get stuck playing the same cards, you will but and find new ones as you go along and will need them, and the enemies get harder and harder to beat. Anything that takes down the enemies defense is worth it -- War Cry card is probably one of the best in the deck I have found so far for that.
Overall -- enjoyed the game well worth the price.
I hope the compan creates another game like this one. I can see it in various genre easily from pulp 1930's cops and robbers to space opera.

Definately an A for Challenging and Graphics and Frustrating.
After the first section of levels, its almost impossble to complete any level that has 'Squares, or Lighting bolt' powerup required to complete the level. You need 4 matches of 4-block square or 4 matches of 5-in a row to get an Square or Lighting Bolt power-up. And if you only have say 90 moves and need to make 14 of these types of power ups -- do the math 14x4 #64# moves, and that is assuming you can get these shapes. At the same time, you are having to either fight against the clock, or have one or two other goals for the level to win max reward.
And as you need rewards at the end to buy stuff to help you win a level, its a lossing game the higher you go. I finaly stopped in the middle of level 6.
So if you want an exercise in frustration go for it.

I enjoyed this game overall. Its a mixture of different types of match 3s, with blocking pieces, sliders, and upgrades -- which was nice. My only negative comment is that -- there is no custom cursor so the standard default cursor can get lost in the screen. Given all the wonderful graphics in the game, it seems odd that the designers didn't do a custom cursor.

This is a standard match 3 game. Though the graphics are crisp and for the most part easy to see, the game grid overlays the back ground which can be distracting. I like the different varient of match 3, the clear the board and the regular. I like the option to do timer vs relaxed. Overall a good game.
Though pretty graphics and easy to see, this is not your standard Match 3 game. Its a selecting/sliding Match 3 game. And for those people that are even slightly moused challenged it can be rather difficult to correctly select the token images to be 'matched'. Then when you get into the part of the game where you have to work/move a key or creature to a chest or something -- its all but impossible -- to do so. Which made the game extermely challenging and well into the frustration mode.
I really think BFG needs another category to cover these sliding 'match 3' games.

I really did like this game because it was challenging, you actually had to think and remember where things that hadn't been done yet.
And I liked the fact that the HOS became harder especially when one found something somewhere else and had to use those items in the HOS to complete it. That was a twist I had never seen before -- well done.
Overall exellent game, I am looking forward to whatever this company does in the future.
