I hadn't had this much fun in a long time. The last game like this I liked was Puzzle Quest.
Overall outstanding game. My one and only complaint is you can't sell unwanted magic stuff. Given the cost of slots for items, being able to sell unwanted items would be nice. But not a show stopper.
A word for those who play, running away sometime is required, keep an eye on your health points (red heart in the left corner) and if its gets green in it remember to click on it right away -- that means you are poisoned. Clicking on it will cancel out the poisoning.
And I highly recommend every time you level up put the points into your health until you are at least 30. Its nice to have the mana as you need it for items/cards but health will make sure you live long enough to get to use them.
Boss fights -- these are not to be taken lightly! They take multiple rounds of killing (i.e. getting their heart down to 0), can toss magic, summon other monsters and are immune until you kill all the monsters are killed, oh and they have shields which you have to break before you can hurt them. Pay attention to the circle icons above the monster -- those are what it is doing and you need to click/hold down the left mouse button to dispel those spells/summoning. I didn't figure that for a while -- I must have missed that hint.
Final note, the cauldron gets really expensive very quickly -- a mistake I made, If you can resist going there until at least the end of the section you are in, it won't be so bad cost wise. In this case a section is 1 to 7 levels.
I will definitely try all thing character options, I am using the warrior first -- to learn the mechanics and get a sense of what I have to do.

As noted by other reviewers, this is not a Hidden Object Game. It is a very good match-3 game. Limited moves true but I haven't had an issue with that -- normally I do. I like the crisp design of the match 3 and the fact that you can skip the end of a level 'clean-up'. That is a really nice feature. Overall a good buy for say a 2 for 1 or one of the special sale days.

I don't normally like limited moves games but as there was nothing else out I decided to try. This game is not easy, especially when you get into the upper levels. You really do need to think about your moves and do everything you can to get 4 or 5 piece boosters. On some levels it is the only way to finish them.
My biggest complaint is the 'award' for level of shells which you can only get by leaving a lot of moves left at the end of a level -- its silly in that of the 9 possible shells to pick you can have some shells with 3 gems and some with 30 gems. And there is literally no logic as far as I can tell on how that is all set up. Personally I would have removed that whole piece of the game.
There is a couple of places where I went huh, like on the episode numbering but I pretty much ignored it.
I am so far on level 162 -- given what I can see there is at least another 50 levels. For a free game (I used one of my game credits) -- 200 levels or so is not bad.

I like match-3s they are relaxing depending on the setting and the matching rules.
Though with all the bright colors and music (you can turn down the sound in the options/setting window), it does have 3 settings -- which is a good thing: relax (no time or moves limits), timed, and moves.
It is not as simple as it looks on either the timed or moves settings -- I would not recommend those for kids. You really have to think about your moves before you do them, wild clicking in the time mode is very stressful but literally the only way to maybe get 3 stars.
A key note: creating the special abilities like a bomb (match 4), costs a move, but using them (double clicking on them) as long as you don't move them -- don't cost moves. Very critical to remember in the limited moves mode.
A final note: Thank you to the developers for actually taking the time to incorporate the player's name into the game, once they create their profile. Quite a few games don't do this and I find it a very nice touch.

After spending more than $400 on this game, and still not 1/3 of the way through. I am just plan giving up on it. It took me almost 2 months to get to level 43 with fairly consistent playing. This last 3 levels have required a huge number of plain tickets, you don't find them often in the HO screens, you can try to win them in a puzzle sub game -- good luck there, your friends can give you some or .. you spend $$$ to buy gems which will allow you to buy these plain tickets. So you can finish / crafting an increasingly longer series of items. And then you run out of gold / coins and need to spend $$$ to buy that. Advancement (level wise) requires experience which you only earn by completing tasks. You need to complete a lot of tasks to get a level. Very little is awarded for completing task -- I think the most I seen was 100 most of the time it was 20 to 60 and at level 43 when you need 3000+ experience points it takes a long time. I give the game designers credit, they built a good game that will generate money for them. Last time I ever play a game like this.
I actually liked this game enough that I seriously considered getting using a game credit. But unfortunately its a timed game and I really don't like that for a solitaire game.
Easy for the game developers to fix, put an option in to make it relaxed. If they did that, I would get this game.

I like this game. Its standard high/low solitaire game but with some nice added features -- and not just the baseball theme. This game actual awards the player for matching suits not required but you get more coins for it.
Only complaint is that the mini-games are timed or require a whole lot more eye / hand coordination then I have. Fortunately they are not required.

I have to say the graphics are nice and crispy, but I was instantly turned off by having to play a timed hidden object game. It had all the feel of a free to play game converted to a purchase game without having the options to play 'casual / no timer'.
A pity looked like it might actually been a good game.
This game really isn't a Match-3. Its a bubble popper, but it has some match 3 elements like chained blocks, and count/move timers and earning points to build something. I haven't seen bubble poppers with building options before.

Beautiful graphics, smooth game play and excellent story --unexpected from a solitaire game.
My only complaint is that its expensive. If you are like me, sometimes takes 2 or 3 tries to successfully complete a hand, you then have to pay for replaying a hand. This is a Pay for Play game and that is to be expected. For that reason, I don't recommend the game -- unless you are really good at solitaire.
You do start with 3 replays and you earn a replay (hearts# for every successfully completed hand, but it cost one to play a hand. I played 3 complete stages #9 hands# and there was no extra ways to earn replays #hearts#.
I hope they come out with a version where you don't have to pay for replays #hearts).
