I've just finished playing this game and I had a nice time.
The graphics are appealing, and the storyline captivating enough to want to keep on playing. Quite a lot of HOG's and they can be very challenging. I enjoyed them though.
The puzzles are not very difficult, I like that, since I'm not so keen on challenging puzzles.

It's obviously a little dated, and I was dissapointed there were no voice-overs. But as one of the earliest games of this developer, you can see they have a lot of potential, and they lived up to the expectations, their games nowadays are awesome!
Nice game to buy with a free coupon.

I bought this game a while ago, and played for hours and hours and had loads of fun. You search for items, but it's not your everyday HOG. The way the story is presented is quite unique!
Do not mistake, this is a pure hidden object game, there is no adventure, but I absolutely loved it!

The graphics are nice and clear. No voiceovers, that's why I only gave a 4 there. But if you consider that this game was released in 2010 - this is an awesome game! This is a great game to get if you are looking for something to use a free credit on!
HOS are clear and more challenging then they seem at first sight. Some puzzles and quite a lot of adventure.
All in all I had a great time! The gameplay was about 3 - 4 hours for me.
Try it for yourself and enjoy!

Aaaah! Finally a game like I love 'em! Dark, desolated, disturbing scenes, full of junk, mess, rust, blood and yuckiness! It's not an asylum, but isn't very far from it. As the game moves on, you'll know why... Definitly not a game for the faint harted or people that don't like blood and gore. The storyline is not new but very, very engaging. If you have trouble following it, check the diary regularly. The chapter in there about the characters helps a lot to explain things.
This game comes via a great developer ala war. You know it's going to be good! There are no voiceovers, but the cutscenes tell the story without words. They are long and very perfectly done with lots of attention to detail and give you the creeps! Some very nice effects here and there that'll make you jump!
Music and sound-effects are very good and contribute to the creepiness of the game. Some tunes I have heard before though.
There is a map in the diary, no jump-map, but it shows where there is action and which areas are completed, a very good feature in my opinion. I've been playing a little bit over 2 hours now, had to stop and tell you about this great gaming experience, and according to the map I have reached about a third of the game now, what promises another nice length of gaming fun! Some good old-school running around, but not the kind that bothers you!
You also get a nice feature, a kind of surprise box. Sometimes you find an item that needs to be put in and you get something else, a hidden object (pun intended#, in return. If you ever find yourself desperatly seeking everywhere for something you really need to get on with the game, check your box!
The hint-button works really good, points you to the right direction and active areas. If it directs you to an active area where you think you've done everything, look again! Somewhere in some unseen corner sits something you'll need. The game looks simpler then it actually is and can be really challenging. Some other reviewer wrote this is a game for beginners, but I don't think so. It's way to detailled for that,

Just finished playing this game. Very beautiful and detailed artwork, typical ERS, so very nice. Great cutscenes too, and very good voice-overs.
Beautiful music, although is does get repetitive after a while. The tunes are good though, so you don't really tire of them.
Quite a lot of HOS, but do realize that this is an older game, and for it's age it's absolutely outstanding! HOS are lists, slighly interactive. Puzzles are somewhat easy, but fun.
What I enjoyed the most was the storyline. Captivating from the very first second and kept my interest till the very end. In the end I found myself hurrying because I wanted to help the girl so badly, I really felt for her. Very nice atmosphere too.
Try it, I'm sure you'll enjoy it! Have fun!

I absolutely love this game! Great fun, very relaxing and so much nice extra things. If you like gardenscapes, Farmington tales, and tales of Lagoona 2, you will adore this game!

I got this game as a DD a couple of days ago and absolutly loved it!
The storyline grabbed me right from the start. The cutscenes and VO's are fantastic, and pull you right in. Very beautiful graphics.

The HOS are very junkpiley, but you can play a match3 instead if you get tired of them, which was a nice change. You can switch any time you want, so you can also use it to find that last hard to get item.
The music is very, very beautiful, so good even that at a certain point it brought tears to my eyes, but that's personal preference of course.
Lots of puzzles, some very easy, some more challenging, but Always beautifully done.
I had about 6 hours of wonderful gameplay, and totally recommend this game. I'm sure you'll love it too!

Actually, I would give this game 4,5 stars, but I rounded up to 5, because it is certainly worth more than the 3 stars it's getting right now!
The storyline grabs you right from the first second, and nails you to your chair. The cut-scenes are not very spectacular, but very well done and informative with real good voice-overs.
I find this story intruiging and finally something different from the same ol' same ol'. And, yippie, no fairytale or cutesy!
The game runs smoothly and has a good pace.
The HOS are good and have a unique feature, they are skippable! They are quite far apart, which I find very nice. It tends to be more of an adventure game than only HOS.
Puzzles are a bit easy, but very well done and there are plenty!
The hint is great and gives you the opportunity to jump to the scene where action is needed.
There are 2 series of collectibles #yes, in a SE!!#, which is wonderful!!

You get to enter the mind of your niece Emmy, who seems to be lost in her dreams. In this dreamworld you need to find the solution for her fears and save her.
I waited for the SE to come out, as I read from other reviewers that the CE didn't offer anything special. When there are no collectibles or achievements I tend to buy the SE.
So, now finally here it is!
It's a lovely game, with a very good flow and a good storyline (although nothing really that we haven't seen before).
But I really loved it, it is beautifully drawn, and very clear and lots of attention to details. The HOS are good, with clear items, nothing to tiny, maybe even a bit on the easy side for me.
Puzzles are partially well known, some new one's and of medium difficulty.

I have been anxiously waiting for this SE to come out, and already spent a couple of very fine hours with it. Now I have to hurry and got on, as I absolutely want to know what happens next!

I have been waiting for ages to find a game like this! I tried all the other roadbuilding-games that came out, but never had as much fun as with Roads of Rome. And now, HERE IT IS!!!!

A great game, fantastic graphics, and great gameplay! Loads of achievements, some easy, some more difficult to achieve. I played both on relaxed as on expert level, and both are good. On relaxed it's really easy to get gold on every level, and well, on expert... not so easy :)
I have played for about 5 hours now, and I'm at about 60-70% in the game, and the levels take longer the further you get into the game. So still lots of hours of fun to have!
Thank you dev's and Big Fish for bringing us this gem of a game!
