Very nice game. Bright colors and good graphics, and a great, very engrossing storyline! You have to know what will happen to poor little Andrea next and if her mother can save you! Although colors are bright, the story is actually quite creepy. That's the great thing of this game. HOS and puzzles are ok, nothing very special, but fun.
This game is all about the story and the great atmosphere it breaths. The gameplay is really cool, lots to do and somehow you really feel urged to get on with the game, so you can save your daughter!
The game runs really smooth and has no glitches, nice widescreen, a great SE!!
It's about the end of 1945 somewhere in France. The weather is cold and rainy. People are slowly starting to return from the warfront. The whole village is shattered to pieces, hardly any lights are burning, a broken tank is left behind in the street.... A lonely piano is tingeling along a spinechilling version of "silent nights". Can you feel the atmosphere? It's dark and gloomy, and I loved it!! If you find the game too dark, you can add extra brightness in the options.
This is a very long game, I guess I played about 7 hours in total. It's absolutely great. Graphics are cristalclear, cutscenes are done in a great way, almost like a movie! The voiceovers are perfect, real and not overacted for the circumstances you are in #maybe your sister isn't the best, but luckily she doesn't talk much#.
Loads of HOS, puzzles and minigames, all really good, challenging but not impossible, with extra hints in the puzzles if the explanation isn't clear enough. The HOS are junkpiles, but very clearly drawn and items not to small, just hidden cleverly.
There is very little handholding, no map, no diary, just the hint-button, which is directional and was enough for me if I needed a hint in the right direction. Very nice, this game makes you think! Absolutely love that!! Some to and fro, but it all feels very natural and is intuitive, you don't get lost in some kind of maze.
I savoured every minute of this game, and hope we will see more games from this dev! Kudos to them for making this wonderful game! Thanks BF for bringing it to us.
Oh wow, what a great game this is! It's so incredibly beautiful, you just have to keep on playing. I found myself all the time gazing at the wonderful scenery, or stop playing because I just wanted to listen to the lovely music.
There is loads to do in every scene, and there are a ton of locations, they just keep on coming. Good thing there is a jump map, because there is a lot of to and fro, and the layout is not Always very simple, but I have to say that I honestly loved that. Makes the game more interesting.
The storyline is told in a very cool way, loved the dossier, making clear who where the good guys and who where the bad.
The HOS and puzzles are very well done, LOVED being able to switch to jigsaw-puzzle, loved how you opened the wallpapers with that feature.
So, I see I have a lot of love for this game :) Just try it, I'm sure you'll be enchanted by it too. Have fun!
This is a very good game, with beautiful cristal clear graphics. Storyline is good and not to hard to follow. Very good HOS. Puzzles can be quite challenging! Got this game with a free game credit and verry happy I chose this one!
If it would have had voiceovers I would have rated it 5 stars
I had a good time for about 4 hours and was sorry to see it end. Up to the next timeless! I'm sure it will be fun too.
A murderous figure in a red mask haunts the streets of a small French town, and the mayor needs your help to track him down. But you soon discover that the mysterious Red Masque might not be the real criminal…
Absolutely loved this game. Beautiful detailled graphics, very good engaging storyline. Lovely CE extras, achievements, your own office, the more than adorable kitten make this game worth it's CE price. The bonus game is very well done and an abolute asset to this game. This game entertained me for about 6 hours (including bonus-game) and I loved every second of it!
Always the same ol, same ol, getting oldfashioned. Items can be very small, don't like squinting all the time. But please do try it, you might love it!
Have fun!
I don't recommend this game.

Memorabilia: Mia's Mysterious Memory Machine
Use a Memory Machine to help the residents of Berryside Mews find their lost items and restore your old farmhouse!
This is a pure hidden object game, but very poorly excuted! Incredibly bad graphics, uninteresting storyline, items are hardly visible in some scenes, not even a magnifying glass will help you there. Translations are ridiculous. If people can't take a dictionary at hand when making a game, they don't deserve my money!
Stay away from this one! Don't waste your time or money!

Fantastic game! Detailled, great graphics. VO's good, music appropriate. The map is a fantastic feature, it's a jump-map and indicates where there are things to do and also if you have found the collectible in a room. Story is good and keeps you interested the whole game long, and that is a LONG time!! I played about 8 hours.
The game is devided in about 6 chapters in the main game and 4 in the bonusgame (yes!!! in a SE!!) There are collectibles, achievements and a secret room if you have found enough collectibles.
This game has the total package. This is how a game nowadays should be! Other dev's could learn something from this game. KUDOS to these dev's, they did an awesome job! Keep up the good work, can't wait until your next game comes out!

REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME
I've just finished playing this game and had a great 4-5 hours of spine-chilling fun with it! Played it in one sitting, I couldn't get away from it! The story is not very clear in the beginning, but gets told in small bits and pieces as you play on, and it's a fantastic story! I Always love it when a story unrolls slowly, it keeps my intrest going. Do yourself a favor when you are demoing this game, persevere a bit, give yourself some time to get used to the mechanics of this game,it gets better and better to absolutely great! The music fits the game great, it makes the game even gloomier, which is a good thing in my opinion. The graphics are cristal-clear, they seem dark, but in the places where there is action, more than enough light is available!
You get thrown in this game via the first cut-scene, and what a ride it is! A bit strange is that this game starts playing immediately, without asking your name or what kind of settings you like. So my advice is that you stop in the first scene and go back to the menu, where you can do all the things mentioned above. If you do so, IMPORTANT to know is that the fastest way of having the hint button refilled, is putting the slider to the RIGHT, as opposed to the left like in most games. Otherwise you will be waiting for ages before the hint button refills! Even on the fastest setting it still takes about a minute.
There are a lot of HOS, very well done in different styles, but it is no pure HOG at all! There is loads of adventure in between, and no real puzzles, but loads and loads of mini-games woven into the game. This gets a lot better and challenging after the hour demo, you'll see what I mean when you get there, and it's also why this game is so different from the usual! It's strange, I've just played a game with a lot of HOS, but still have the feeling like I've played an adventure game. Absolutely great!!
The lay-out is a bit different then what we are used to, the diary and inventory are at the top of your screen. So do look good in the bottom left (and right) corners, sometimes you'll find hidden rooms there!
You will also notice that changing from room to room is often interrupted by a kind of map where you see footsteps walking. To limit this to a minimum, my advice is that you use the jump-map often, where you can see where there is action so you can minimize the waiting and jump there in one go.
I absolutely LOVED, loved, loved this game! KUDOS to the dev's and thanks BF for bringing us this wonderful, refreshingly new game!
