I had a really hard time with some of the levels at first; my brain just wasn't able to make the connections between the balls on the "spider webs." Fortunately, there were always hints available, and I muddled through. But... I just started playing the game again from the beginning, and now I get it! I am enjoying it so much! The graphics are excellent, and the gameplay is extremely relaxing. (I don't usually play with sound, so I can't comment on the music.) I love that you get an unlimited number of tries, and no time limits, either. Now that I'm good at this game, I was able to turn off hints and other clues.) This is not the kind of game for people looking for excitement or the kind of story that immerses you, but when it comes to puzzle games and a new, more challenging "Match 3" type, you'll most definitely enjoy Rainbow Web 3!

This game started out being really charming! The hidden pictures were a bit challenging to find, but still fun, especially with such active, colorful backgrounds. There are 2 problems, however: 1. It is NOT "pure hidden" objects. Some of the mini-games between HO scenes are other kinds of puzzles. 2. *** THIS is the big problem -- there is no way to just skip over any of the mini-games. About 30 minutes into the game, there was an extremely confusing (to me) swiveling pipes game that made no sense to me. Even when using hints to help me, I couldn't do it. So there I was, stuck. I had no choice I could figure out except to end the game. What a shame! Such a simple thing to ask for - just give us a SKIP option when we don't like a mini-game! 3. For anyone who's playing this, the way the hints work in the HO boards is that you click on the red star, then click on the WORD of the item you need. That took me a while to figure out. Like I said, I am VERY disappointed in this game. It started out charming, but was too frustrating for me in the end. I hope the game developers will read this and improve the game.

(Please note: I played the easier, "untimed" version.) I've played several of the "Alice in Wonderland" games, but this one is, far and away, closest to the real story and the strangeness of Wonderland. Most of the important scenes are here, and most of the characters. Some of the scenes are in a kind of super 3D, and almost all the rest are very skillfully drawn, and pleasant to play. You're only allowed to keep a max of 6 hints in reserve at any given time, but if you use one, another one can easily be found quite soon afterwards. Most of the mini-games were okay, although there were way too many of the "mixed-up pictures in a frame," most of which I just started skipping as soon as it was allowed (3 minutes.) In general, I just think that there was actually a great deal of thought, imagination, and creativity to this game, and the purposely-strange perspectives in a few scenes really made me feel like I was in Wonderland!

What a waste of my hard-earned money! I loved the Mahjong version of this game, so I quickly bought this one, too, but boyoboy, am I disappointed! I went through all 5 rooms on the "1st Floor" okay, but on Floor 2, which is a super-simple matching game, it is impossible to win! I have tried every one of the 5 rooms on that floor multiple times, but there is no way to win. A total waste of money! (As to sounds/music, I play with all my games muted, so I can't review that option.)

I am SO disappointed! I loved the first game in this series (Trick or Treat 1) so much that I bought this one without even trying it out first. Big mistake. This one has various extras that are confusing and downright dumb. Perhaps they thought they were making it more challenging by doing this, but it's only annoying. Here is one example: various items are extra-hidden behind or inside other items. But there is no rhyme or reason to where they are. For example, to find a handful of money, I had to keep clicking around until I finally got to...a man's hat (while he was wearing it.) The dollar bills were under the man's hat! Wha....???!!!!! TOTALLY annoying. The artwork is decent, but again, not as good as TorT1. I am very, very disappointed in this game.

Exactly as my title says, this game gave me everything I look for in a hidden object game. It consists mostly of hidden objects (!) hiding among various colorful, busy Halloween-themed scenes. Finding the objects was neither too easy nor too hard. There is always a "Hint" option if you need it, and you can also "Skip" any of the mini-games that show up, if you don't like them. Please note that I played this game in the "Relaxed" mode; apparently, there is also a harder, timed mode - which can definitely make it more of a challenge. The story was cute - nothing fancy or super-scary or anything. In fact, I would rate this a "G" as long as you don't mind little kids seeing possibly scary pictures. Anyway, it gave me lots and lots of lovely scenes with lots of hidden objects, and now I'm looking forward to playing the follow-up game in this series.

Okay. This game seems to be geared towards 6-year-olds at first look. I mean, the story is quite simplistic. However, there is one great difference between this Mahjong game and all the rest -- the matching pairs don't always have the same color tile! As someone who has enjoyed playing PC mahjong games for over 20 years, I can tell you that there is a unique challenge when this is happening. (I hope I'm explaining this okay.) Because of this difference, I felt that my brain was constantly being worked, but at the same time, the game was super-relaxing. It is all but impossible to "lose" this game in any way, or fail at any of the mahjong boards. But that's okay. I really enjoyed playing it, but I don't recommend it for people looking for sophisticated stories and frustrations with killer rules of play!

When I first started, I enjoyed the silly face of the "Elevator Guy" and the effect of being in a moving elevator. Once the game itself started, I thought the tiles seemed a little squashed looking, but that idea faded with continued play. What makes this game so much fun is that we get to play some variations on Mahjong that aren't normally seen, including "Matching Three Tiles" (instead of the traditional two), "Split", and "River", which I thought was awfully darn hard at first, but which I started really looking forward to. The boards definitely get harder as you go up to the higher floors, along with lower time allowed, so there's really quite a challenge by the time you get to the 20th floor. But it's a fun challenge! I have no complaints about this game except perhaps that I never found any kind of "undo" button, but that didn't seem to negatively affect my game play. Definitely a fun game which has already given me hours of relaxation and challenge!

This game is NOT for anyone looking for an intellectual challenge, intrigue, or frustration of any kind. It is simply a charming mahjongg game with lovely graphics and smooth game play. The puzzles start out with a minimal number of tiles to start with, then the layouts get progressively harder as the game progresses. However, there are unlimited hints if you want them, and there is a handy "Show all the free tiles" button to use any time you want to. The occasional mini games aren't particularly challenging; they're just fun. The music and sound effects can be adjusted, but they are quite delightful and very much in keeping with the spirit of Alice in Wonderland. After you complete the approximately 80 layouts in the story part of the game, there are extra bonus layouts you can play any time. While I consider this game too hard for little kids, it might be suitable for pre-teens and everyone else. It's pure G-rated enjoyment!
I recommend this game!

Once again, I have to say how much I love these Gardenscape games! 1. They give me the option of timed/untimed (so I can relax!) 2. The artwork is wonderful; objects are the correct proportionate size and look very realistic. 3. Interaction between my mouse and the characters is fun. 4. The game sure gives us more than our money's worth with how long it takes to complete the game. 5. Being able to redecorate is truly delightful fun! It is very satisfying to see the changes we can buy with our playing. I really love it! My only complaints/suggestions are minor ones: 1. There are just a couple of incorrect word labels, such as they use the word "jar" several times when they mean a "pitcher." 2. When we choose between the 3 upgrade options for each improvement, it is very disconcerting to see them flashing/glowing sometimes in preview mode. It would be much more helpful if we could just preview them the way they really will look. Anyway, I still love this game and its cousins, and look forward to additional ones in the future!!!
