I can only guess that all the reviews especially the rave reviews are by those who did not completely play either the main game and/or the bonus content. Story line went into one weird direction and then "pop" it was over in a heart beat.
Won't assert Maze Subject 360 any due credit as a psychological thriller. Really, really weird is more accurate of a description and more akin to a low budget wannabe horror movie. Not saying developers didn't work hard because their hard work and creativity is evident. However, my biggest question is why "possible" brilliant minds agreed to present such an awkward game in lieu of creating a very good game yet missed the mark. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
Enjoyed this sequel. Requests answered for an interesting, more updated and realistic story line. Was especially pleased to see our legendary "Jersey Devil" in the Collectibles line up. Who knows what truly lurks in the New Jersey Pine Barrens? Hmmm?
Varied personalities, talents and abilities added an extra dimension to the over abundant dark magic games of late. Have to say that the bonus game was rather lengthy to my surprise and did not take away from the standard version. Missed only two achievements. Have yet to be able to click on ten objects in rapid succession.
Had a bit of trouble with a black screen upon finally reaching the path to owl man's house. Hung in there and re-started the game in casual mode rather than custom mode and that did the trick. Thanks to the forums with a bit of this and a bit of that information, was able to piece it all together to work for me. Glad to have been able to continue and then complete game, bonus game, secret room as well as view the additional video clips.
Three cheers for Nightsville Horror Developers and BFG! Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
First of all, very pleased to read the well-deserved rave reviews especially those gamers not usually pure adventure game players.
Okay, story line is good enough to make a movie. That's right! There's challenges, however, the map is your best friend and will guide gameplay in an interesting, simplistic and most beneficial way. Gamers will know exactly which areas need more attention and those that are fully completed. Also, game has hint and skip options! Yep! No reason not to try possibly your first pure adventure game and that means zero hidden object scenes. So wonderful not to have to find numerous keys and then have to 1st glue a few together, etc.
Gamers will be interested and challenged. Thank you developers for a job well done indeed! Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
Is the game enjoyable and challenging? Yes! Gotta figure out the next move, yet, it all makes sense after a while because gameplay is different. Yay!
Starts with the opening scene--"Who's on the same frequency as I am?" Is true that the entire game isn't explained in the first minute which is good with me after playing predictable, boring and repetitious. If you're legally blonde and don't like the game, there's plenty with strategy guides so gamers can pretend they've won.
Looks like "Beetlejuice" has come to life! :)) Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
I recommend this game!

The Missing: A Search and Rescue Mystery Collector's Edition
A group of college students have gone missing from a remote island in the Pacific Ocean. You are called in to rescue them, but nothing is as it seems.
Excellent storyline that keeps gamers' interests. Very innovative and was surprised to see not so many reviews. Recently replayed and noticed I had not left a review either--my bad.
An expedition team has disappeared and your mission as a rescue operator is to find them. You will discover so very much more in your quest. Excellent gaming! Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
As an agent of the Alliance, you’ve been given a mission to destroy an ancient artifact known as the Spear of Destiny. In the wrong hands, it could help conquer the world.
At last requests for a more realistic gameplay backdrop are answered! Game was executed in first class style with impressive research, cut-scenes, and voice overs. A very touchy subject, war; yet developers reached into the depths of our fallen heroes to present a game befitting their honor.
It's no secret that mysticism, ancient technology and extra-terrestrials played a very big part in Hitler's gestapo war and the spear of destiny is especially well written as one of those possible scenarios. Proudly, my father won six major European war campaign medals and I was pleased that the French underground was correctly portrayed in assisting the Allied Forces.
This is the first time in my personal gaming career that gamers actually kill a human enemy and not a dragon or evil wizard so it was quite a sobering experience that brought home the fact that war is real and we rarely, if ever, embrace that reality--unless we have loved ones in law enforcement or the military.
Bravo to the developers whose genius aptly wove together a war and a game. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
Game was surprisingly short even with bonus play. There were no achievements although I did, as usual, replay all HO's for the gold, yet, mainly due to my own obsessive compulsive nature and not so much the fun factor :/
Having purchased ALL Eipix games, this one is definitely on the slipping away side of lesser fun, excitement or mystery. Yes, I too grow weary of feeding squirrels and building ladders, however, developers have brought such variety, gamers cannot complain as mostly all devs include the same--much like doing crossword puzzles. Personally, would like to see modern-day games--something more realistic and carrying a tool kit.
Eipix is predictable in what is presented. We know we'll get quality even if it's not perfect, we'll get the best. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
Completed game plus bonus game and bonus puzzles. One of the best games ever played even as game is about a year ago.
Admire and appreciate smooth game flow little jumping about. Interactive map keeps gamers on track if needed. Would have liked to see longer bonus game play mostly due to not wanting the game to end. I'm a fan of Detective James from opening scene on. The immersive and interesting story is the game with superior artwork. Read some reviews complaining about the music. Really? Goes to show no matter how sophisticated and magnificent a game is presented, someone has a complaint. Saved all musical tracks to play and enjoy later. This is a game to be replayed again and again! Outstanding!
Gave one extra star for effort. There were so many puzzles and so much going on, I wanted to add another star for the developers' hard work. Plot and events leading to ending was complicated and lengthy. For once, I am okay with purchasing the standard version and completed the game mostly due to the amazing commitment that went into it's development. The Others could easily be three games in one. Recommend only for gamers who do not mind the heavy references to witches, magic potions, powders and spells. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
I recommend this game!

The Torment of Whitewall Collector's Edition
Only one girl has survived the mysterious attacks on Whitewall, but she’s not talking… So they’ve called you in to end the town’s terrible torment!
Sulus Games' 2012 classic Adventure/Hidden Object is reminiscent of the quality older pure adventure games interwoven with hidden object scenes. The Torment of Whitewall is a delight for true Adventure gamers and a treat for HOG lovers who always wanted to play a long file game--the best of both worlds.
Game was fluid. well written with magnificent artwork/cinematography and a spectacular storyline in which you, the detective are after the bad folks with earnest. Excellent! Thank you Sulus Games--developers of other greats such as the "Strange Cases" series, "The Missing" and others gamers will find themselves familiar. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
