The Illusion is that this game premiered as a CE! I found this game to be flat, fairly easy, and a little boring. The demo was extremely short and didn't take you far enough into the adventure to determine if it's a keeper or not. The story, being not new, could be interesting if the play was more interesting. The HOs were varied and I did like them and seemed there were as many HOs as puzzles, which is great for me as I don't care for the puzzles. I think I will need to pass on this one as it wasn't challenging and the story didn't hold my interest. I'll remain neutral on the recommendation as I wouldn't buy, but it's not a definite no buy for you who find the story of a risen Illusionist interesting.

I have been screaming for the large screen Match 3s forever and looks like we've found one. I love the fact that there are actual voice overs in this one and you don't have to click continue to continue the conversation. This is a multi-large screen game and when your Jump is full, you can jump to other locals where you have things to do. What I don't like is that you can't really scroll around in the screen, only make matches in the direction you want to go, which is a little frustrating. Also, there is a lack of instruction and I had to play 2 or 3 games to finally figure out what I needed to do. But, I won't complain too much and will give it 4 Stars as I'm just so happy that there is this Match 3 format again. The funny thing is, when I saw what the Game for Tomorrow was, I didn't download it and had decided to pass as I knew I'd be disappointed. But it's a boring day so thought I'd download to kill an hour of demo...wow, I'm so glad I was bored as I would have really missed a good game. Match 3 players should all love this one. Thank you so much and please bring us more like this.
I recommend this game!

This isn't a bad game, just not a CE. Fun factor was OK, but not challenging. Graphics and sound was quite well done, challenge level is on the week side, and storyline is not new but not boring. I thin this game in the SE version will work fine on a cold day with nothing better to do, I most likely will purchase the SE, when it becomes available. Maybe will try it with a different level of difficulty to see if it is more entertaining. I do recommend, just not in this version so will not indicate as recommended.

I got so lost in this one and found it not fun at all. The only good thing I can say about this game is some of the scenes were pretty, beyond that, I have nothing good to say. It was dead silent except for spacey music and I felt like I was in a vacuum. If only they had at least taught the characters to talk. Sad!
I don't recommend this game.

I was rather disappointed with this game as I loved the last Mystery Tales. The graphics were good, story wasn't new but never gets old, and voiceovers were continuous without clicking continue. I did not like the HO's in this game and there are way too many annoying puzzles. This one is not difficult enough to pay extra for CE and if you want it, you may want to wait for the SE. I'm not sure I'll even purchase the SE as I just found it rather boring.
I recommend this game!

I did like this game, but did find it on the easier side and definitely not a CE. Story was different, kind of Madame Fate feeling to it, and graphics were nice. Voiceovers had no mouth movement and you did have to click "continue" to continue the conversation, puzzles we not difficult, HOs were also on the easy side, but I did enjoy them. There were also movie clips and photo taking where you had some HO tasks to do. Map was interactive and did give locations where you needed to do something, which is a very handy thing. I will probably purchase this one when it comes out in SE but it's too easy to pay additional for the CE.
I recommend this game!

4 Stars as I give very, very, few 5 Stars, even though this one is close to perfect, except for 1 big thing for me. It's such a joy to play a well designed game that has almost everything you can wish for. Scenes are gorgeous and characters are lifelike and not in your face. Voiceovers are as they should be and they continue the conversation without you having to click continue....Love It. Puzzles are not overly challenging so they are fine for someone like me who does not care for puzzles but I guess they are needed for those who do enjoy them. Map is interactive and perfect...thank you for that. My only complaint...not many HOs and they are To-Do silhouette puzzles and I'm not a fan of silhouette puzzles, preferring the fragment like the Dark Parables or just a list. I love the storyline and can play these adventures all day. I really do love this game but I don't feel the need to purchase the CE version and will wait for the SE. I find that the Bonus Game in most CE are not worth the extra cost and the Hint worked well enough to not need the SG. I hope more developers will look at the quality of this game and make their needed improvements.
I recommend this game!

How terrible can it get? This is such a bad, bad, game, that it was hard for me to go halfway into demo. The item squares are so small and light colored that they make it hard to see matches and they changed how you collect coins. I play Jewel Match IV all the time and love the big board and larger, bright colored squares with simple HOs along the way to collect tools. When you come out with a new edition to a series, aren't the new ones supposed to be better? I was so excited, then after 5 minutes, I was disappointed. And, there's no story either. I think they just wanted to put something out, so dusted this one off and threw it out there, just to waste our time. BF, 2015 has been a disappointment so far. There are few Match 3 games coming out and you give us this junk just to say there was one. Don't waste your time by loading even the demo on this one.
I don't recommend this game.

So disappointed, wait all week for a new HO Adventure game and this is what they give us. I've never been a huge fan of this series, but they were OK, but this one is the worse one yet. Even the maneuverability within the game was awkward with somethings you needed to click in an exact spot, windows hard to get out of, and a few other issues that made this one not work smoothly. There was really not any logical motives to tasks so I was always lost. What really killed it for me was the HO game where you had to make the 3rd straw doll bell and ring the bells in a certain sequence; I tried all ways to ring them and they never worked and hint was no help at all. Sure, could have gone to the guide, but if it's that impossible, then forget it. At this point, I disliked it so much that I exited and uninstalled. Total state of dissatisfaction with this one. I sure hope there's something good on Saturday.
I don't recommend this game.

I've always loved the Midnight Mysteries stories, and after only playing the demo, this one is a great sequel. I love these stories of authors of old and how their stories become entangled within each other. Graphics aren't the vivid Dark Parables type, but the muted antique type, so goes well with the story. This is a complex tale and I did need the guide on occasion, so I will be buying the CE edition and hope that it has a decent Bonus Game at the end. My only complaint with this series is that the items are small and difficult to see unless you have a large monitor. So far, I've gone to save Washington Irving, which took me to Sleepy Hollow and demo ended saying new venture will do something with Oliver Twist. I sure hope this isn't a short story as I will have to pay full price for this one as there are no CEs I want for the additional 1.99. I don't understand why BF has these type offers as the loyal BF Club Members have probably already purchased all of CE versions.
I recommend this game!
