Right off the bat, in the game intro video, you can see the reduced quality of the graphics, I did recognize Isa, but definitely not the crisp artwork of the previous games in the series. The storyline is ok and hope it will hold interest as it continues. HOs are list form and pretty easy with items that look like they should. Puzzles are varied, some easier than others and there are a couple in each scene. I found no collectibles, but I may be missing something and will watch the reviews to see if others found them. This is a very simple game and IMO, not a CE so will reconsider when it comes out in SE. There have been a couple of great games in this series, but this one does not compare to the great graphics and story of the previous ones. I do not recommend only as a CE but may recommend when the SE arrives. Review is based on the very short demo, which I hope isn't an indicator of length of the game.

I have so loved Mystery Trackers series, but this one just does not have the same crisp plot, play, and graphics that I've grown to love. The story is OK, based on the demo, but it's predictable. HOs are fine, but wish they would make silhouette shapes that actually look like the item and I really dislike the find matching items as it's always difficult to find where they are hiding. Puzzles were pretty simple and the task puzzle in the demo, I did fine until the last task, which instruction was poor and I couldn't figure it out so had to skip after all that work. I was going to do the buy 2 for the price of one today, but will pass and wait for the SE version as not sure this one will hold my interest. Happy Gaming!

I've been waiting a long time for a great match 3, and this isn't it. There really is no story here, no voiceovers, thank heavens, no scrolling large screen, and not great side games. The side games in this one is a Find the Difference and a lame attempt at mah jong, neither were very good.. The simple Match 3 wasn't too bad and some of the moves are a little tricky. The one that almost made me hang it up was the Fire, and having to start tiles on fire and move thru the playing field to melt the frozen coins. But remember, fire can't go thru the water so you need to follow the small amount of dry land. It took me a few screens to get this move down, but I managed to complete the whole short game of building all the seasons. I did use one of my free games with this one as it's been awhile since I purchased a M3.

I did the beta demo test on this awhile back and was excited to have it come out. Yesterday. I decided to do the demo before buying, and I found it a little boring, but thought maybe it was because I was just repeating what I'd played before and that the unplayed portion will be better. I also decided to not rate it until I had completed the whole game. If I had rated after the demo, it probably would have been a 4 star, but the further you get into this one, the more boring it becomes. It's almost as if they were just dragging it out in a bunch of scenes with nonsense activities. The graphics in the HOs got worse and you couldn't tell what several things were and it was calling for things that I've never heard of....what is creams? Still don't know as even after hint showed me where creams was, I just clicked around until something took. There were a few other very obvious screw up, but I didn't keep a list. This is a great one for beginners and those who find happiness in pirate stories, but I wish I'd waited for the SE. This was a semi interesting story, but is average to below average game play.

I wondered how they would manage an alien story, and now I know. I forced myself to play the whole demo, even though I wanted to close it after the first 10 minutes, trying to give it a decent chance, but now wish i had followed my gut and never even loaded the demo. The HOs are terrible, asking you to find weird, unidentifiable items and the puzzles are hard as you have to guess what to do as they do not follow any earthly logic. So aliens look like us, or is he in movie makeup? This game is not well done, hard to understand, and just plain boring., The only thing good that I can say is love the 50s era.
I don't recommend this game.

i've purchased the other games in this series, and this one's play is not as fun as the others. The story is fine and I would be interested in completing it, but hope I don't get too bored with the play to get there. I did not like the first few HOs where you found items on pages...way too easy; the other HOs in the demo were fine. Some of the puzzles were easily completed and others frustrated me so I skipped, but puzzles are not my favorite aspect of these type games. Graphics and characters are fine for the period of the story and fit almost perfectly. I did find game play to be somewhat difficult and did use the SG on occasion, which is nice for a change. The map was really of no help as it didn't indicate current task, only that a task is available. I'm on the fence about this one and think I'll go play the pervious in the series to see how I feel. If I do decide to purchase, it will be the CE as I did use the guide.
I recommend this game!

Wait, am I in a dream? I know I played this before, maybe a few years ago. Is this a remake of a previous game that they just added the collector series to? I did not care for this before and do not care for it in this format either. I guess the graphics fit with the storyline, but it seemed flat to me. It seems your doing a lot of running around for a task here, and a task there, and if it wasn't for the interactive map, I would be totally lost. Even the characters are uninteresting, except for Smudge and Solitude. I will be passing...again.

What an awesome demo preview of the game, can't wait to get back to the story. It's so nice to see EIPIX bring us such an excellent game with a truly scary story, just hope the rest of the game is as great as the demo. The only thing I found negative in the demo was the pop-up HO box was so small and had bad graphics that I had to use 2 hints, and even after it showed where the items were, they were hard to detect. But, the rest of the HOs were well done and there was a variety, list, silhouette, and fragment. The puzzles were not difficult and easily completed. Characters were great, graphics well done, and sound was intense when needed. There is a morphing item in each scene. Thanks for the ride, it has been fun so far.

If I give a game 5 Stars, it has to be special, and this one is. It's so nice to finally have a game that makes you excited and can't wait to buy so you can continue, but this game has it all. It is super fun, graphics are beautiful, characters are awesome, HOs are different, puzzles are mostly not too difficult (but there are a lot of them), and the story is intriguing. Here it is, year half over, and finally get a game worth waiting for.....thank you BF. There are morphing items, along with something new; a word you must collect, but don't know why yet, other than you get extra hints. Your helper is a childhood friend that you save from prison to help you on your adventure. There is an interactive map that helps you thru the scenes and actually shows which has current tasks to do. You go back in history to the time of the queen in the 1500s to solve a mystery of a missing boy and this is where you will find all the misdeeds that caused the boy to disappear. I haven't finished, just played the demo, but couldn't wait to purchase so I can find out who the villain is and if the boy is rescued. Happy gaming everyone!

I do need to agree with other reviews that this game's dress up doll was quite silly and the demo is way too short to make you interested in the story. Graphics are average for today's games and characters were flat with no real personality. The HOs are in every scene and though not a new concept, they were OK, Puzzles were fairly easy but the one where you clicked the button and a number lit up and you were to press an adjacent number to add up a total, totally threw me as no matter what adjacent number I pushed, nothing happened. I may revisit this one for the SE version, but in my opinion, it is not complex enough for a CE and I'm worried about the length since the Demo was extremely short. This type story has been done before, and depending on where it goes, it could be interesting, but not in the demo period.
