I admit it - I love griddler puzzle games! It's like an addiction for me. I'll play them late into the night, even when I know I have to get up early in the morning. Whenever I see a new one, I have to try it. This game is different than other griddler puzzles: there's a story line that is more involved. The graphics are better than previous games. The main downfall for me is I had to use the hint button too often or guess, which is kind of against the 'rules' for griddler puzzles. I enjoyed the game though.
It is so much fun! Really, it is! I am a HO game fan. Rarely do I look at other games, but I love this little Dracula. So I tried it. It's so much fun! I love hearing his comments, and his minions do most of the work, groaning as they do it! So clever! Now I want the other Dracula games.
I found the clutter games a year ago, and have enjoyed all of them. It's amazing how addicting these games are! I start playing and then I can't stop. The story line is fun, and different.
Before I say anything else, I love these kids of games. I play them all the time. I like the cartoon visuals; I like the search for what the silly customers want; I like the mad rush to look for all of the things while there is still time. I like them better than the hidden object games with the beautiful graphics and complicated 'you need this before you do that' story lines. I really love the simple cutesy games! That being said, I play every one that comes my way and usually buy them. I wouldn't buy this one if it was the sale of the week. Too much stuff going on, and the garden takes forever to complete. The main character has so many dialogue bubbles, I couldn't tell you what she was saying most of the time because I buzzed right thru them. There is much room for improvement on this one - maybe the interim steps are in #2, which we seem to have lost. Don't buy this one until they clean it up.
Before I say anything else about this game, you need to know that I LOVE these mosaic puzzle games. I love the way you need to think about where the colored blocks could be hidden, and trying to figure out what the picture could be. I try every game like this when I find it at Big Fish. I enjoy some more than others. Saying that, you would think it would be hard to impress me. This game, however, outshines other similar games. It has fantastic backgrounds; the emerging pictures are keyed to the background (like the seahorse in the underwater background). The music is soothing, and I even keep it on. (Many games have irritating music) With the coins you win by finishing a puzzle, you upgrade your kingdom. Other games have you decorate your 'home', but not with the superior graphics that are in this game. I almost didn't want to stop playing so I could write this review! I bought this right away.
Such a cute game! It is a hidden object game but it is so different from the current ones. You are looking for a thief who has disguised the valuable paintings by changing them. So you have to find the changes on each painting and remove them. If you use the wrong tool to remove the hidden object, there's a small penalty. Such simple idea but so addicting! I went back to the Big Fish page to look for more like this! I'm now playing the same game but under an alias.
I love the way this game makes you think about the best way to move the little girl from room to room! There is a short tutorial, and then you are on your own. Thank the game gods that you can retry over and over! it is very stimulating and much different than other games. Logic is the main skill needed. The other reviews go into the basics of the game so I won't repeat that in my review. Just know that this is kind of like a Rubik's cube or those little hand-held games of long ago where you have to move the numbered tiles around to put them in numerical order. Only a lot more fun with the beautiful graphics! I bought this game before I was even through the free trail.

The Clumsys
Join The Clumsys family vacation using Grandpa`s time machine. Detect items that are out of place in this historical Hidden Object game.
I really enjoy Hidden Object games, but some of the newer ones with all the multiple trips back and forth to the same locations can be tiresome. So playing this game with its straight-forward goals of finding the mislaid items and missing kids with the time machine is refreshing. It's rather easy but not juvenile. I like the cartoon type of graphics, too. A cute, fun game.

The Alley Strikes Back
Renegade Bowling Pins are on the loose! Smash groups of pins with super-powered bowling balls in this fast-paced arcade game!
I like most games. Game playing, to me, involves engaging my mind ( and occ. my ability to quickly move around the game board) to achieve the goal. This game has none of the parts I look for in a game. There is pretty much no control over what pins the ball hits, tho you can position the ball in 3 different locations behind the foul line. Each colored ball can only knock down pins of its own color, and you have no control over which color ball you have to use at any point in the game. So, if there is a red pin in the midst of many white pins and you have only red balls up, there is no way you can knock the red pin down because the red ball will not have any effect on the white pins, not even to move them out of the way. I got a few strikes but I couldn't tell you how that happened. So the gist of the game is you release the ball and hope to knock down the pins you need for each level. It became very boring very quickly. Kids who are just learning how to play computer games wouldn't even like it! Graphics are minimal. There is so much more that could have been done in design of this game, and it looks like the developers just threw something together and hoped it would fly. I couldn't even finish the free demo. If the game was free, I would have to pass it by. I wouldn't waste the disk storage space.
I don't recommend this game.

I like to have some games that require me to engage my brain but not have to strain it. This game is one of those kind of games. The HO scenes need searching but not to the point where I'm squinting or trying to imagine what a specific object COULD look like. i enjoy the little matching and memory scenes between the larger game ones. The graphics are not as sophisticated as some other games but that is the charm of this one. I would say 'buy it' to anyone.
