This was a collection of three games with very different themes. I found taking notes helped keep track of all the different tasks. Lots of finding items and backtracking to use them. The first is a murder mystery - it's long challenging and good. The second is based in Renaissance Venice. Absolutely gorgeous, but the story line was a bit silly. A couple of times I had to resort to the walkthrough and as the next step was just not obvious. The third chapter was very short, and easy, but enjoyable. Gameplay would give this only a 3 star rating, but the graphics nudge it up to 4 stars for me.
I've been waiting for this one for a while, and it does not disappoint. Stunning graphics, many different kinds of challenges, many powerups and achievements to earn. After you have finished you can also play the Time and Medal Challenges.
Its a shame that it doesn't offer a Relaxed option. If I could I would give it only 4 1/2 stars. This wouldn't have been difficult to program in and would have expanded the audience for this addictive game.
Not as long as some other Match 3 games. There are 17 chapters with 4 levels in each. This game is much harder than the original. Some boards take multiple tries to win, you need to be very fast and think about your strategy. Great replay value.
I recommend this game!

Fairway Solitaire
Pull out your clubs (and your diamonds, hearts and spades) and enjoy a round of Fairway Solitaire!
This is a deceptively simple card simple card game that at some points had me totally frustrated, but kept me coming back for more.
The graphics are clear, the voiceovers are hysterical, the many levels will keep you entertained for weeks if not more. In addition there are powerups to purchase with your winnings, trophies to earn and the random Wild Shots where you take your chances and maybe earn a great prize.
This is a game by which other solitaires are judged.
I recommend this game!

Mystery of Mortlake Mansion
Explore the dark halls of Mortlake Mansion and discover its secrets! Break the evil spells and become the owner of the mansion!
Amazing game, great graphics, very long game. I remember good puzzles and getting lost a few times(high difficulty option does not let you use the map to jump between rooms). Changing gender just changes your voice. Voiceover were well done, and you can skip them if you want. Taking notes is advised if you don't have the time to play it through in one sitting. Eerie but not gory.
One of those games I will play again someday. If you like Puzzle Adventure and don't have it, you won't regret this purchase.
Warning - this game ends in a cliff hanger. The story line is excellent, although I wished I could have fast forwarded through some of it. Lots of very good puzzles some of which were very challenging. The Hidden objects were frequently hidden by making them the same color as the background.
You get hints by collecting objects and solving puzzles. The more hints you collect the more pages in the notebook you open. This provides extra story background.
The artwork is very comic book, but it fits the story. The music is OK. The sound quits for some people occasionally, but you just have to quit and restart and you get it back. Hope the sequel is out soon.
This is a simple Match 3. It's beautiful and the music is calming. The perfect game to destress after a long day. There are plentiful powerups to earn and good sound effects. A game I go back to time after time.
I love the Luxor series, and this is the best one yet. Many different types of games with many different playing fields. I like the storyline and being given choices of which direction to take. The graphics are excellent and the game is challenging. There are four levels of difficulty.
My only complaints are that you can finish the story line before playing all the points on all the paths. The ending of the story comes rather abruptly and finishing the rest of the game is rather anti climatic. Also the battles with the bad guys are so easy that you seem to win with any effort on your part. Although I was only playing on medium, so that might be part of the reason.
Minor quibbles though. The game is very very good.
This game has great cartoon graphics and lots of power ups. You have to collect specific tiles as well as clear the board. The special tiles allow you to build a city. There are achievements and bonuses to earn and mini games to play.
There are 4 levels of difficulty. Normal is not difficult and Advanced isn't much harder. (Haven't tried insane.) However there is so much happening all at once, that this will keep you entertained. Lots of replay value in this as you try to better your score and make all the achievements.
This game was not a difficult one, but I found my self being drawn in to the stories of the individual ghosts. The graphics were good as was the music (which is a really unusual).
There are ghosts and demons, but no graphic gore. Each chapter is self contained so that you can play the game in between other games and not lose your bearings. It is on the short side, but I never got bored. The story has a satisfying ending.
A long adventure game with great graphics and a good storyline. Not too many HOG scenes, and those are well done. Lots of back and forthing, and I found it necessary to take notes, as I played the game over several days, and would forget what area needed what item. A map would have been useful as there are so many locations to remember.
I love the achievements for not using the hints for HOGS or the skip for puzzles. Keeps me from giving up.
Most of the puzzles are fairly simple, but a few are very tough, and one was really frustrating because it didn't have a reset button. I broke down and checked the walkthrough for that one.
This game has lots of eerie atmosphere, but nothing really gruesome. Loved it.
