I've only played the demo, but this is a definite purchase for me. A true adventure game with you as the famous detective. This game has great (computer generated) graphics, superb voiceovers and a wonderful sense of humor.
I've never played this type of game before. You don't have too much help (especially if you play as Senior Detective), so it's more work than your average HOG. You can't fast forward through the dialogue, there are no hints, and puzzles can not be skipped. There's no map, so I'll be taking notes, but I just want to keep playing. There are puzzles to solve (easy and hard), games to play, a castle to explore and a mystery to solve.
So glad BFG is finally getting the Mac version of this series.
I recommend this game!

Little Things Forever
Search colorful patchworks built from hundreds of little things. Over a hundred puzzle pieces to collect and solve.
This game is a very different kind of HOG. The pictures are made up of lots of small items that are colored to make up the larger picture. You need to find 4 items out of a couple of hundred for each of the 100 levels. Some items are tiny even on my 21" screen.
The colors are bright and the graphics are simple cartoon style. Some of the objects are a similar color to the background. Once you find a piece it sparkles. The music was pleasant enough.
The hint system is good. You get a big circle that slowly contracts. No waiting to refill hints. Even with that though, some of the objects were hard to find. Reminded me a bit of Pure Hidden, but not nearly as good.
No time limit, no penalty for using hints. It might be nice to play with a young child, but only on a large screen.
This Match 3 has it all, fun storyline that you will actually want to read, good graphics, great sound and music, and most of all heart pounding, just need to play one more level, game play. You will want to replay this one. The different game mechanic (make a match with the icon in hand) takes a bit to get used to, but give it the full demo time and you will be hooked. This game requires strategy for each level, and it even lets you decide what buildings to put up first (each gives you something valuable). It's a shame there is not an untimed mode, as it would open this game to so many others.

This has very little to connect it to the original Azada. That said it’s a good game. Wonderful graphics and good music.
The first chapter (of three) is not terribly challenging, but as it goes on it does get more difficult. The hints are not always useful. A couple of times I did use the walkthrough as it was completely unclear what to do next (I played this for short periods over several days) taking notes would have been helpful. That’s not a criticism, I like a game that is complex enough to need notes. The last puzzle was great fun. None were horribly difficult. All can be skipped.
The ending was extremely unsatisfying. Not sure if it’s worth upgrading to a CE though.
I recommend this game!

Fairway™
Spend some time on the Fairway and take on challenging courses! Try to stay under par in this amazing Card game!
Looked good at the start, it has lots of levels and decent graphics, however, that mermaid was quite annoying. Having to click on her constantly slowed the flow of the game. There also seemed to be a bit of cursor lag for me on the Mac version.
Simple boards, but lots of strategy, especially at higher levels. As the game progresses you purchase power ups. You activate them by making multiple matches of a particular color tile. Bright colors and clear graphics.
There are 3 modes of play - Adventure, Endless, (after 1st bonus) and Puzzle (after 2nd bonus). In Adventure, there are 5 levels each with 8 boards and a bonus game. It's timed, but that only counts for winning awards. You can play as long as you need to. You can replay boards to get the gold.

You are trying to create a magic potion to release the pirates from their curse so that you can escape the island. There are 25+ different locations, each with it's own special character and set of items. The puzzles are clever, the graphics are great. The humor had me giggling. You can skip the puzzles if you wish and the hint refills quickly. Macabre in an Addams family way.
This is different from the usual Match 3. It requires more strategy than most. You have to wait while the tiles are dropping which usually kills a game for me, but this gives you time to plan your next move. It's timed, but that's only for earning medals. You can play as long as you need to clear the board.
Power ups are collected as you advance in the game. You can go back to improve your time, and you keep the earned power ups. Graphics are just OK, but the sound effects are great.
This deceptively simple game is turning out to be absolutely addictive. It's a long one (I'm trying for gold on every level) and will have good replay value.
