I really liked playing this game. It's up to you to save Mystery Island, which is in danger of disappearing due to a tsunami during a solar eclipse. A ship disappeared in the past during another eclipse, and you find ghosts of those people all over the island. When you help them by finding missing items, they will give you something important that you need. To help you there is a map, a journal, and a hint button. You will find some objects just lying around, but most are fragmented hidden objects. Once you assemble them then you can use the objects to complete the next step in the game. My only criticism of the game: I found some of the fragments to be very small and almost impossible to spot. This was pretty frustrating. Otherwise, it's a great game. I especially liked the morphing objects in each new area you visit. It just added a little extra fun to the game. The game builds up to the high point where you do all the right things just before the tsunami and the eclipse. I highly recommend the game. Lots of fun!
I recommend this game!

This game was enjoyable to play, but it was also very challenging. Kate's grandmother was an archaeologist, and she died before completing her biggest discovery. Kate goes to Egypt to take over where her grandmother left off. The HO scenes were interesting, being able to move them from side to side, but the objects were so well hidden that I quite frequently had to use the hint button. It took a long time to recharge. In each scene there were multiple things to do. There were two lists of objects, silhouettes, and then one or two activities. It was very challenging at times to figure out what you were supposed to do next. There was some backtracking, but not as much as in some of the newer games. One thing that irritated me about this game was that I would at times click several times on an object, sure that it was what I was looking for, but nothing would happen. Then I would click the hint button and it would go to that object. If I clicked in just the right place it worked after all. I thought the story line was interesting and well done. This is not the most exciting game in the world, but I enjoyed working out all the steps and felt challenged to find all the objects. I do recommend this game.
I recommend this game!

In this game you are on a tropical island that has a curse. A man is trapped on the island, and your job is to help him lift the curse. This is a fragmented hidden object game. You need to find all the pieces of each object in order to use that object. For most of the objects, once you find all the pieces, you need to find where to put it. It could be anywhere on the 3 or 4 locations on the map. Usually the area where an object goes will shimmer, so you know something goes there. It's also usually logical, such as putting a pear beside another pear, etc. There are also many mini-games. This is one reason why I gave the game 4 stars instead of 5. One or two of the mini-games are kind of hard, and there is no skip button. Once I had to leave the game and go to the forum to see what to do next. The forum isn't that detailed either, so even when I found the area I needed, the explanation was kind of vague. I finally figured it out however, and felt a sense of accomplishment. Most of the game isn't that hard though - it just takes thinking and trying different things. I really liked the variety in the game - within each chapter you had different kinds of puzzles to solve. I can see replaying this game and still enjoying it the second time. I think it's well done and definitely recommend it.

I enjoyed playing this game. You are trying to keep your niece, who is also a witch, from falling under Morgana's control. You follow her throughout the story and try to stop her from taking revenge for a family member's death. Along the way you encounter all kinds of dangers, spells, and monsters. You solve many HO scenes and complete several mini-games. There is a great hint system, an interactive map, and a small elf who helps you get things that are out of reach. And of course you build up to the final scene where you confront your niece and Morgana. I thought this was very well designed and interesting to play. Definitely recommend it. There are 3 other games in this series and I plan to try them all.
I recommend this game!

This is a very challenging game. You have to clear a path for your character to follow, and you do this by matching tiles. Along the way you get things to help you, such as pots of water to put out fires that are in your way. It's a timed game, which for me is very frustrating. I got to the last level of the game and no matter what I tried I couldn't finish before the time was up. Needless to say, it gets harder as you move through the game. I can see why people like the game because you feel a sense of accomplishment if you are able to finish a level. And lots of extra twists are in the game to keep it interesting. But the stress of trying to finish takes away a lot of the enjoyment. If you like being under pressure then try this game. But if not, skip it.
I don't recommend this game.

I liked the concept of the game. You wake up after a long time in a coma and find that many bad changes have taken place. You figure out how to go back in time by sleeping near a clock. Once there, you can change things so there is a different outcome in the future. You meet a man named Giovanni and he talks you into helping him. He is trying to ruin a huge crooked corporation that has done terrible things. The HO scenes were OK, but not that great. I thought many of the objects were hard to see. There are mini-games which are not too difficult. I liked the idea of the story, but the execution could have been better. It's still worth playing though, even with the flaws.
I recommend this game!

This is a game about going back in time to solve problems. I liked all the characters and the dialog was kind of humorous. I thought the game was original and enjoyed following the plot to see what happened. I wasn't aware that there were two other games in the series, but now that I've played this one I'll definitely get the other two. There was quite a bit of repetition in the game, like going to the same room to find artifacts for each time period, but each time it was a little different. Once you were in a time period everything was original. Not a lot of backtracking. The hint system was good. You can earn extra hints by playing a match-3 game. There were also find-the-difference games and other mini-games. I was impressed with the game, enjoyed playing it, and definitely recommend it.

If you love to play mahjong, this game will entertain you. The story tells of a huge dragon who steals special jewels from the Fairy Queen. Your job is to get the jewels back. Each chapter in the game takes you further along a map of the kingdom. In each chapter you have to match all the mahjong tiles for several parts of the journey, then play a slightly different mahjong game where you fight a monster with special tiles. At the end of the game you have to fight the huge dragon. It's a fun variation on a classic game, and I really enjoyed playing it.

This is a timed game, first of all. Not my favorite, as I'd rather play to relax. But that said, for the most part you can finish each level. There is a HUGE exception though, which I wasn't aware of until the very end of the game where I almost finished it and then lost everything! You start the game with 3 lives. That's shown at the top of the meter. If you lose any of your lives, that carries through the whole game. The first two times it happens you only have to repeat the level you're working on. The third time it happens you lose the WHOLE GAME and either have to start over at the very beginning or just stop playing. I stopped. Playing the game was kind of fun, racing to match tiles so you could progress down paths until you reached the end of that scene. There were on average about 7 to 8 scenes per level, and there were 7 levels. I was on the last scene of the last level when I lost the game. Not happy. If you liked timed games by all means get this one. If not, skip it.
I don't recommend this game.

I enjoyed parts of this game very much. There was very little guidance, so figuring out where things were or what to do next was interesting. If you want to keep playing, you have to do the work. There were times, however, when I really didn't know what to do. If you go back to the intro screen there is a desk, and in the drawer there is a book that has a general outline of the game. This is what helped me a couple of times. Then you just click on the book on top of the desk to resume the game. I thought the HO scenes were pretty dark, and some objects didn't look like the names they were given. I saw a round yellow object, and when I clicked on it the word "mouse" disappeared from the list. In most HO scenes there are gold coins, and for every five that you find you can skip a mini-game if necessary. I did skip about 3 of them as they were confusing. The story was kind of interesting, but the ending was rather abrupt. In all, I do recommend this game as long as you don't mind working fairly hard for your success.
I recommend this game!
