This is how games used to be before they started pumping them out like crazy in carbon copies of one and another. This CE is loaded with a huge array of achievements. In fact there were so many that I only managed 40% and I was focused, giving this one great replay value. The art work is visually stunning, the storyline captivating and there are extras at every turn. I loved the mix of mini games and especially loved how a compartment would pop open and the lighthouse would project a little movie to tell more of the story. This would then turn into a mini game. Really inventive. The whole game had awesome details and was really fun. You had collectibles of acorns in the main game and morphing objects in the bonus game which really was a continuation. Really long game so lots for your money. If I could have given this one more that five stars I would have. I would buy the CE version of the next one in a flash. These developers really know how to put out a great package with all the bells and whistles. Don't miss this one and buy the CE it's worth every penny. Loved it.

I really loved this one, especially all of the puzzles which were both plentiful and varied. But the storyline, super clear HO scenes and the addition of both morphing objects and achievements were darn good too. The colors were warm with lots of reds and golds. There were some pretty cool people and odd creatures like fiery bulls. There were a ton of locations, the game is quite long with a very good story throughout. The music did become a bit repetitive but turned down it was okay. There are many cut scenes with details of the story which begins with you trying to prevent the opening of Pandora's box. Very good. Really enjoyed this one. I even played the bonus chapter.

Very good game with lots of puzzles that were.. thank the lord.. not dumbed down. I didn't find this game overly difficult like some and I did play in advanced. The HO scenes were clear, the graphics crisp and there were a good variety of locations. You began in a house and then found yourself in some kind of Aztec ruin, only to return to the house in the end. There was a good map that kept track of tasks as well as a journal to record clues along the way. Scorpion collectibles and achievements complete this one. Nice game with lots of puzzles that I really enjoyed.

I just couldnt finish this one. I admit that I am so not a fan of ERS anyway but I did enjoy the last Avada so I thought I'd give it a shot but it's just a carbon copy of their other games which all get to feel the same. You do the same game mechanics, the same "bad guy" and the weeping woman or child. Nothing new, nothing origonal, same washed out graphics. This one felt quite juvanile (sp?). With a cat you get to dress up, some dogs that you feed oatmeal??? and a drumming turtle.. okay. I dunno. Not for me. I now wont even make an exception for Azada. Next time I have a free coupon about to expire I will choose anything but. Sorry ERS fans but a person can only play the same old thing so many times.

I really liked this game. First it was beautifully drawn, had amazing cut scenes and a good mix of mini games. The HO scenes were crisp and you could play mahjong (sp?) if you didn't care to search. Very interesting storyline that's not the same old my whatever has been lost or kidnapped but an actual story. A secret order and a ship that can travel through time. excellent. They did lose me a bit in the middle where you went off to some weird green island with ghosts but once through that you are back on the ship and ready to face the rogue member of the order. The only reason I didn't give this five stars is it was lacking any bells and whistles. No achievements, no collectibles and no morphing items. Even one of these would have convinced me to give it five stars. However it was a good length and beautifully done. I did really enjoyed this one.
When the entire audience disappears from a film screening at an old theater, you must go behind the scenes to find out who is running the mysterious Nightmare Cinema.

Wow my kinda game! This was a continuation of the first two with the same demon coming back this time, through the projectionist at a theater to steal the souls of movie goers. Four difficulty setting to choose...easy, normal, hard and no help at all. I began on normal but quickly changed to the hard setting as it was much too easy. Lots of collectibles in this one, toy soldiers, pastries, snow globes, butterflies etc as well as morphing objects that, watch out, are also in the HO scenes. You could switch to a jigsaw puzzle if you didn't want to search. And there were achievements to achieve also. Loved all the extras in the gameplay. This is why I buy CE's and this one was loaded. YYaaayy. Quite a few mni games along the way too. There was a really good jump map that in normal or easy would show where there were tasks still to complete. The bonus chapter was part of the main game and so had a reason to be there. Lots of well done locations that were very detailed and very good VO's. I can't think of anything I didn't like. This game seemed average length to me although I did have to leave and come back a few times so i had to re-orient each time I think I was just over 6 hours. Looking forward to the next installment. P.S. I did get hung up on the ink and the empty pen. Didnt realize you had to play him the tape first.. might have been good to show that in the SG.. ty to BFG's forums

This was a very good ending to this trilogy. While the first game was quite mundane, the second was really well done and this was just as good. Locations are beautiful and full of color. You time travel back and forth to repair things in the past that fix the present. HO scenes were bright and colorful, there was a ball at the side that would show you a sillouette of the item you were looking for or you could play a match three game if you didn't care to search. There were six different years to travel through and a fair amount of interaction with different characters throughout including Merlin as a tree. Quite magical, very entertaining. enjoyable SE version of this game. The story wrapped up nicely. Very good.

This game was very well put together. Great graphics, lots of color and plenty of locations to explore. Really nice music that I actually didn't feel the need to turn way down. You land on an island, explore the house and open 4 portals to different lands. A jungle, a pyramid etc. All good. There were plenty of cut scenes that were excellent and I loved the skeleton hand that came up out of the hole in the ground to give you the portal keys. The game was a good length with morphing objects and a decent extra chapter. My only critique here is that the my boyfriend/girlfriend/sister/brother being kidnapped by the witch/devil/whatever and needing rescue is really getting old as a plot. Like really old. Are there no other plots to these games?? The detective doing an investigation or someone being kidnapped. sigh okay let's thing outside the very worn box shall we?

Upon starting this game you would swear it is ERS... BUT lucky for us it's not ! You play as a detective chasing a madman who is killing people to gather their scents. The colors are rich and bright, HO scenes are crisp, the locations stunning and very detailed. And it has achievements to achieve and collectibles to collect. You also collect scents and make potions throughout the game. Very enjoyable. I played in advanced and they had taken out the black line hints also which definately made it tougher. I could have done without the coughing, hacking people in the background and it might have been nice if the people in France had French accents instead of British or North American but no matter. You do need to play the bonus chapter to finish the story and although I rarely do, I did play it in this game. Mostly because the game was so good I didn't want it to end. This should definately be on the list for top games of this year. Great job Blam games. Impressive.

This game had everything and in an SE package too! Beautiful art work, great music that changed with each location, very tricky inventory objects, tons of locations and an artifact you actually used. The storyline was interesting and the game was full of puzzles. The hint system had directional arrows when you needed it and the HO scenes were clear and well drawn. You begin in an airship and then crash land on an island to continue the adventure. There are a lot of locations to explore including time portals to other areas. My only critique is that the artifact hardly glows so I would sometimes not notice that I had to use it and therefore was stuck a few times. But once I realized that I just watched it more closely. Really good game where you get to fly planes, make potions and solve many puzzles. Well worth the price and great entertainment. Would higly recommend.
