You really can't go wrong with this series...it is one of the easier of its family, and yet you will need your roller skates and strategy head firmly on right from the start.
You will be aiming to build your viking village and get a tree to grow in order to restore Valhalla. The buildings come quite quickly with the gold you earn from the levels...and our old friend, gold sparkling in the scenery also adds to that.
There are a couple of new features one within the gameplay, a slider that moves along in the same manner as keys and locks, you must clear the path ahead to move it out of the way so your cannons can fire..or your fire spread can get through...or set off your bombs. I really enjoy this feature..they often need to be moved more than once. Our old friend the 'line slider' is also back. (hint: if it is pointing the wrong way, right click it and it will turn from vertical to horizontal etc) and get rid of a large line of tiles.
And HOORAY...a new minigame. Still carrying on the new slider theme...a slider block game to get your slider across to an exit. Love this too. (there is still the usual H/O, mahjong etc which you can skip)
All in all an old friend with just enough of a new outfit to prove very worthy. I am playing in timed (there is relax too) and find the challenge perfect. I have had to repeat a couple of times..but really just my strategy at fault. Just how I like a game! Enjoy!
I recommend this game!

I have bought a couple of these and really enjoy the game mechanics of this style of M3, but this one is really only an M2, you dont need 3 tiles to clear your path to let the liquid flow and you can go up down around etc on your chains which makes gameplay a lot of fun.
I have only done some of the demo on this and am taking honey to bees as the characters I have to reach in time or they fly away and you will not get the tick on your level medal. If you don't choose timed the game will play in relax.
I am enjoying this one for what seems a slightly more generous, but still challenging timer, and the bright vibrancy of the tiles. It is really no different to other games in the series, but just tweaked a little to make it 'sweeter'. There are ice tiles and wood covered tiles requiring several goes over them to clear.
The larger your chain match the larger your explosion of the area and so there is still the dynamic of having to set up a certain colour to make a large chain to remove an obstacle that requires a 'big bang' to remove it and clear the way. (I did notice on the blurb the nuclear ones will appear too )..and they require a VERY large chain to blow them, so you will need to pick the colour you think and keep removing all the small ones stopping that colour from joining together. That is where I really like that you only need two tiles in any direction to remove them.
It's a whole lot of fun, and it still is a race in timed, but you get your hand in fairly soon and learn what to ignore that is of no use in getting to your little critter in time. Its a cute, bright, fun game. I didn't think I needed another, but this one was just too tempting and cute. Try the demo. Enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Well once again this dev has given us a quality M3 with plenty to do and plenty of choices.
Firstly the graphics are great. The tiles are large and distinguishable, and the village you rebuild after a dragon attack (of course lol)..can be viewed in 3D. You also begin the game with one of the included puzzles...and you must toggle arrows to reveal the hidden scrolls which are only visable as the scene rotates. I did wonder if this would play ok on older or 32 bit computers? So make sure you try the demo first.
During the game there are multiple boards...as you finish one you move on to the next, and playing in timed I found the challenge worthy. In fact on one level I timed out...but that is where you are given a choice of using the gems you earn by completing your tasks in the book and have claimed in your trophies. You can buy extra time or you can restart. These gems can also restock your powerups.
You unlock your power ups by restoring the village and each building restored opens up a new one. Four, five or more on the board also give dynamite, bombs and TNT ingame.
There are three modes, relax, timed or limited moves..and then the choice after that of expert or casual. It is great value for an SE and most will recognise many features from other great games this dev has produced. I think its wonderful..Enjoy!
I recommend this game!

This is typical Incredible Dracula... make potions, spells and objects, clear roads build and update and general TM play. This is based on the demo only.
Most of the old features are here...get a recipe for a spell, but this time mostly from a labyrinth that Drac must enter, and often by activating an alter too to summon the character you need anytime.
Frankie is here, but this time he is not just smashing mirrors, he is actually a strong arm man who gets rid of enemies. (I made the mistake of ticking on another enemy while he was fighting one...and he left and used the rest of the resources on the other one...so both were only half gone..(watch that lol)
The princess is busy and is needed to fight stone beings to remove them from the path, and in gameplay there are lots of keys and chests to pick up to open gates to move on. A few switches too. You do need to figure out your direction in most levels. There are misted areas requiring the 'handyman'.who also delivers spells this time, but of course all the buildings and extra characters are all in a dwarfish/elven theme.
There is a strategy guide, and art etc, and achievements, a relax mode..and 50 levels plus 15 CE.
There is also a section on the map that says 'documents' and 'treasury'..but I haven't been able to open it...even though I have bought some documents to show someone? And there is also a 'collections' which are outlines of dwarves, but I cant find them within the scenes like regular hidden objects, nor see anything marked on the strategy guide? So that is a mystery yet to unfold as I get further in I guess.
All in all...classic Drac...and delightfully cute graphics. So far I have found this a little easier than some (but I bet I said that too soon lol). So try the demo and see what you think. Enjoy!
I recommend this game!

I have not been a great fan of the last few offerings from this developer, but this one is really engaging. One word of warning as for all the new games from this dev..you will most likely need a 64 bit computer to be able to play it.
But if you can, it moves well, the graphics are clear even if the reason such things as the beauty salon giving you bonuses isn't lol. But you soon get the hang of what's what.
All the bells and whistles are here, there are achievements, and bonuses are earned by playing the levels...and then there are super bonuses you earn by playing the levels and upgrading till you have enough regular stars to buy a 'super booster'..or just beat the dev's time to gain one automatically. There is a hidden object tor on each level and they are marked in the strategy guide and on your map.
One thing that did confuse me was when selecting game mode it said I could change my mind later from easy, normal or expert..and I thought 'oh you must be able to toggle'?. But I honestly couldn't see how either in settings or any other button without beginning again. (that's how they lost a star) At least for the hidden objects if you miss one you can just nick back in, grab it and leave.
The tutorial uses dialogue so you have to read that for a while, and it wont let you move on till you do what it says..but you can turn that off.
It not the most whizz bang game of all time, but its a solid, build, gather, upgrade gameplay with a decent level of challenge and the bonuses add a bit of novelty. Enjoy!
I recommend this game!

This is offering No 3. in this series. The first was jam packed with goodies often hard to see. The second just plain hard and a little dreary. They seemed to have gotten the balance right in this one.
There is much to do!! Just because its not jumbled with goodies, does not mean its easy. After a few levels you get to pick your 'hero's as before..but you can top your bonuses up by buying extra boosts with the gold you earn on your way..or on the levels called 'heists' just there to get gold.
There are two modes of play..relaxed and normal. The good news is that you can toggle if playing in timed you can switch to relax and still get your stars..and then toggle back again to pit yourself against the next level. Strategy is important and often your first run through will show you a better way. Or with this feature..you can choose to do it untimed first to find your way ...and then tackle it!
There are 3 hidden objects in each scene..and they are quite hard to find...for this I did need the strategy guide a couple of times to find them..but again, good news, you can just go back and get them and leave. They show on your map if you missed one.
Gisborne is here firing his catapult..and capturing your hero's in a bind. So if you haven't managed to get robin to shoot him in time..you must get your tied up worker out before you are left with no-one active. (or hope your bonus is more workers)
It's not top of my list for TM's, but I am really enjoying this one much more than the last. Can't really find fault with it other than the characters can be a bit goofy, but they have got a little more warmth back in to this one again. Very busy..bright graphics and smooth play. Enjoy!
I recommend this game!

I reviewed the CE of this game, but the SE will give TM fans all the fun they need with great graphics. The challenge level is quite high on this one if you play in timed. But there is a relax mode.
There are flying carpets this time that travel through the air and pick up resources from unreachable otherwise parts, there are traders that can get quite tricky to work out who to go to first, and another new addition of a raven that collects and does other feats. But a huge warning...he is a major slow poke, so when you are playing you need to get him going quite early. (Just like Mary can drag her feet too if you don't speed her up in the bonus choices). You do get to speed the raven up too, but not until much later in the game.
I noticed in the CE reviews that many thought they also had glitches with the camel trains. It is actually the gameplay being done wrong. You must have clear paths, and you must choose the right ones to move along first etc. That's part of the skill. It is possibly one of the most difficult offerings in this series and beginners may need to try playing relaxed alongside their timed game for a while. I don't mind repeating levels...I am up for it lol.
All our friends are here..Mary and her spells, Max the dog barking away enemies, John fighting all foe, and Gremlin forging items on his anvil.
All in all the devs have continued to up the graphics, the challenge and added new features so it doesn't get old. I must say I don't know how well I would have done without the occasional peep at the CE strategy guide? But see how you go. It is a top class TM. Enjoy!
I recommend this game!

This is a really delightful game. Plenty to do, gorgeous tiles, lots of upgrades, good obstacles, novel features, nice story..but..there is still no timer! This developer has been around for a long time and why they still cant put a timer on as a choice I simply do not understand.
This would be a five star M3 for me if they just added that feature! I just don't get it?
There are plenty of choices to make with your earned level loot, one a collection that helps with the story line. One that you can buy power ups, and one that dresses the main character. Its all great. Its a peaceful, colourful game that moves smoothly and the graphics are quite good on the side screen as well.
There are spider webs, objects to drop from the screen, tiles to clear, and morphs that let you turn a tile to the one you want...until your 'stage is complete' lol and many more features.
So try the demo. What a shame I still after all these years (yes years) I cannot give this style of game it's deserved full stars. Cheers.
I recommend this game!

At first I thought this game should be in the 'family' catagory, as I was finishing with nearly all my five minutes per level and I thought..' this is no challenge' and then I realised you dont get the whole timer to earn your three stars. You still have to finish as quickly as you can.
This is just like many games we see come from the mobile or free to play platforms .. one profile and lots of whizz bang noises and explosions. At least on this you actually get a choice to skip the never ending ones after each level is complete. But there is nothing new we haven't seen before.
Mostly you are charged with collecting a certain amount of a particular animal or clearing tiles which may require several matches to remove. There are iceblocks that you must remove by matching beside them and there are very easily earned bonuses on the board for matching 4, 5 and hexagon which either explode or remove tiles of the same colour etc. There are also hammers, bombs and ingame boosters to have on the side ready too.
When you have done a certain amount of levels you can take a picture of a wild animal which is pinned on a board. So at the end of the day..we have seen this all before and really its a bit tedious I think despite all the bells and whistles. The challenge is quite good to get your full stars, but there is also a relax option. What I didnt like is waiting for all tiles to stop moving and the constant blurb on my screen of 'great' 'flying' when I did a good move and then the wait as well.
If you are champing at the bit for a new M3 this would probably fill the gap. There are some games (not many) in this format that do rise to that target and you are perhaps building a resort or creating something that grows..but not just collecting snaps of cartoon animals.
So try the demo, see what you think. To me it's not good and it's not horrible either. It is a bit of fun to fill in time..not one for me but I feel some will quite like it. Cheers.
I recommend this game!

This game is pretty much a same game, but you can't go wrong if you like a mix of HO and puzzles set in great graphics. Trash and wildlife to find. Familiar to a tee...but much loved and handy to have on your desktop for the quiet times.
I do really enjoy this whole series. Enjoy!
