This one is a pretty standard time management game that has enough upgrades to keep a person interested for a long while.
Sometimes I find the number of things going on and the intense pacing a bit annoying, if I'm going to be completely honest. But there are some interesting strategy quirks to combat some of the aforementioned pacing issues and the story is less of an entrepreneurial tycoon taking over the old management's place vibe than a more interesting mystery to be tackled vibe.
It's different, though in the same vein as Burger Shop or Cake Shop.
I recommend this game!

I mean, I don't hate it.
There are upgrades to earn, which helps, and it's cute overall. But the only real challenge is in the pacing, which can only eventually get to impossible and continual mindless clicking level, and it gets redundant fast.
I recommend it for beginners or kids, but once you've developed some preferences, this one isn't likely to be on your list of go to games.
I recommend this game!

If I'd played it more, I might have liked it better.
Or I might have absolutely hated it.
Either way, I shut it down after 2 levels because I find this style of game horribly boring and redundant. The story is probably interesting and the trophies and rewards are beautifully done, but I hate hate hate these 'road style' games where you have no choices or options outside of pointing and clicking.
I like a good 'mindless' game play from time to time, but the style this game lands in is brain dead.
I don't recommend this game.

Though this is a typical Sim City style game, it is novel in execution, moving from one time to another, keeping the challenges in campaigns high, and throwing the odd curve ball at you to have to course correct with.
Really interesting with good graphics and style; female lead and the backdrop isn't consistent to the point of redundancy, by any means.
Worth the hour trial, at the least, if you like Sim City and would like the play to be more transparently challenging.
(Note: It sometimes seemed as though the original Sim City would just flip it's difficulty level to 'impossible' and no matter what you did, you couldn't resolve the citizens issues. There is a solution to the problems you're presented with in this game, though you may not think of it instantly, or might have to bite the bullet and tear down something you quite liked placing where you did.)
I recommend this game!

Of course, there are some small changes from the first to this sequel, but overall, it's a reasonably challenging old school Sim city style game that boasts far better graphics than the consoles did, plenty of campaigns to get you thinking and far more involvement by the player's mind is required to play well than the point and click 'road' games that bore me tears. Replaying levels for higher ratings is a tempting option; once you've figured out where you went wrong the first time, it only makes sense to do it better a second time.
I recommend this game!

Another Sims style game (old school Nintendo / Playstation city scape game, I mean, not new life emulating style games).
There are a plethora of options to build, upgrade, and challenges amongst the goal oriented / campaign style gaming that keep it from getting old.
I recommend this game!

This is easily one of my favourites with the face paced play, tons and tons of options to spend your earnings on fab upgrades, many different sub games in discovering recipes; the challenge level is pretty high, graphics are awesome, story is pretty decent. All around, this is the sort of game you can keep coming back to and have a whole new approach to having fun playing it.
I recommend this game!

This is more of the first game with Sim style play in an old west setting. It can be a bit mindless for the first few rounds in a tutorial, as you're choices are half made for you to progress, though those levels are short and there is a completely different game play style available from the goal oriented campaign style game. Great graphics, good story that provides a more unique setting for the game play, and plenty of opportunities for 'side games' with particular progresses made inside the game.
I recommend this game!

This is the sort of game I seek out, allowing for choices within gameplay, upgrades, and extra tasks one can choose to take on with unexpected rewards.
It's pretty standard, but nicely set in another time with a fun story line attached to it. Graphics and controls are solid with a reasonable challenge level set to achieving goals.
I recommend this game!

It's more of the same with a few differences; but that's why I like it.
Much like the Sims, you build up cities and can find challenges in reaching goals as quickly as possible, but the choice remains yours as to what you buy, when, upgrading and unlocking rewards along the way.
Totally up my alley.
I recommend this game!
