My only complaint is actually part of the challenge I enjoy; the area you have to work in is not as easy to cobble together how you would like to as what most would find satisfying. None the less, that is part of the fun. You'll have to give up certain buildings to put in the higher quality games / rides / food booths you'd like to add. The power, security, health, and other features of your fair must be monitored and keeps the pacing tight for it. You must review your numbers and re-assess and hire more staff as you get more popular. Options to advertise are included and have a noticeable impact on your rating, attendance, and quality of your park. There are even more tidbits I'm sure I'm forgetting that makes this one of my favourites.
Though I hate straight up road games, this was a nice sprinkling of it over a game similar to 'Build It', 'Campgrounds' (which also has a smattering of 'road' game style actions to complete within a level), 'Green City' or similar style building game with a period and placement twist also similar to the 'Big West' series. Plenty of upgrades and 'unlock' items with earnings within the level and after mastering several levels over time.
Though the graphics are good and I do like some of the 'Burger Shop' style games, and this one is certainly more challenging and intricate than Burger Shop, I found the controls sticky and it really turned me off that I had to keep repeating steps on an already repetitive game. Don't get me wrong, there are many different things you do, and many different recipes to master; so I'm sure not everyone will agree this is a repetitive game. But within learning each recipe / each level, it was frustrating to know what you had to do because you've already done it and not be able to do it at the speed your commands are being relayed. I think I would have enjoyed it much more if the mouse was more responsive (and it is in other games). So, I'll recommend it based on the likelihood others would not be as annoyed as I was with the controls and, instead, feel it simply increases the level of difficulty. I was looking for something like Bistro Boulevard, as well, and may have been disappointed that it did not seem to follow that particular style.
Tons of ways to approach this game, even in campaigns. The graphics, characters and story are all cute and even a bit novel. It's one of the most unique approaches to a Sim City style game I've ever seen. Comparable games on Big Fish include the Big West, Campgrounds, Green City, and Build It series; but this one is kind of in a league of its own, and seems to have an unending list of unlock-able achievements. I was very pleasantly surprised with this game.
There's a number of different backdrops and levels within each section of this style game I think is comparable to Busy Bea's Halftime Hustle. There are a number of upgrades to buy with earned money, mini games to complete other upgrades, fast pacing, and an interesting premise overall. I found the controls a bit sticky and, rarely, it took a second for me to figure out what I was being asked to do, which cost me a customer, but you can be sure you don't make the same mistake a second time when that happens. Overall it was good, though I could do with a bit less forced game stall to review the story and tutorial.
I must just not 'get' these games since I find them so distasteful and so many others think they're great. The graphics are awesome, sure. They use really unique 'roads', so it doesn't look like it's going to be as boring as I find it. Maybe I'm just not into the sort of strategizing this sort of game requires, but it just feels like factory work to me.
Cathy is chasing the dreams of others instead of her own. But once she discovers her passion, her strength will be put to the test. Will Cathy stay true to herself?
Though this game is comparable to Burger Shop, Cake Shop or a number of other games, the story is really adorable and unique. It is more challenging that the aforementioned, as well, and the pacing is kept tight. New challenges / mini games are added into the standard game play as one advances through the levels, with extra considerations and attention having to be paid to do score as highly as possible. The graphics are great and as cute as the characters. This one is a level above Burger Shop, for me.
Similar games on Big Fish include Big West games, Green City, Build It, Build It in Time, Coconut Queen, and more.
It's a standard old school Sim City style game with much better graphics, an interesting storyline with a female lead, ever expanding tasks and earned unlocks for more buildings.
I also enjoy the focus on nature (a bit ironic while sitting in front of a computer screen on a nice day, but extra enjoyable on those days you can't get outside and want to remind yourself the bad weather will subside and then you can do these things in real life!)

This is similar to the first version, so if you enjoyed that, you'll enjoy this. I've only played the timed campaigns, so I can't speak to the untimed version's play, but I would think it is as enjoyable as any of these Sim City style game variations.
The graphics are great, plenty to do, and there's another female lead in this game.

This is a pretty standard Sim City style game with a camp theme and focus on nature, which I really like. It's much akin to the Big West or Build It games but more of a Green City vibe. There isn't much frill with mini games added in, but the standard campaigns to give you solid challenges and it is necessary to earn upgrades, extra workers, and build what will give you the supplies you need. There appears to be a number of unlock-able items in this arena that would keep the gameplay fresh.
