Well, the demo didn't get me terribly far into the game, but I saw enough to know it would be a definite purchase. I want to catch that cold-hearted bad guy and turn him into a dirt clod or something....but wait he already IS a piece of dirt ! lol
I loved the story and the story behind the story! It got right into the job the detective had at hand and away she went through the portal, after some necessary tasks, of course! Those tasks were not boring or time wasters as in so many games lately. Not a zipper pull in sight and the locks were no big deal. Inventory filled quickly, but nothing lagged behind for very long. I enjoyed the task of looking for collectibles and achievements were fun, too. There were few characters in the demo and my time was mostly spent inside at the scene of the crime. The demo ended shortly after stepping through the portal, to a brief encounter with mister baddie!
However, the few characters I encountered were very interesting and the voice-overs were great. The HOs and games were superb and left me wondering why other devs can't deliver such great quality and stories that really grab you! Not much of the green and purple in the demo, but I agree that it has been done to death!
The custom mode lets us reduce skip time on games and hints down to zero. A very appreciated feature, indeed, as was the ability to change from hard to easy mode on games I played. Had to switch a couple of times. All the HOs can be replayed and there is a match 3 alternative, but I wish there had been more than 18. However, I actually really enjoyed the games, as they didn't feel like a nuisance getting in the way of my good time. Everything ran smoothly, the graphics were nice and clear, colors rich and appropriate. I am looking forward to more excellent gameplay and the bonus chapter.
So happy to know, too, thanks to Sunnyglow. that this will be a long game. It's nice to get something special all in one package. They won't have to pry the money out of my hand for this one!
God Bless....
I recommend this game!

These Pixel Art games are so relaxing and truly enjoyable. I completed the third level last night with the lovely cat pic in Pixel Art 2 and was already wishing for number 3 to arrive. The pictures come to life with bright colors and subtle shading when completed, delightful variety, excellent quality.
The instructions are super easy to understand, the features work like a charm and the game runs with absolutely no problems. My favorite feature is enlarging the picture. I also appreciate double clicking to cover a large area of all one color. Very thoughtful of the devs to include such useful tools to make pixel painting even more fun.
Since discovering Pixel Art and Rainbow Mosaics I am a very happy fishie. Being so overly tired of fantasy themes and demon infested games, this type of entertainment is just a wonderful change of pace. The Pixel Art games are suitable for all ages and the enlargement feature is a blessing if like me, you have aging eyes or wear glasses. I happily recommend!
God Bless....

I think the puzzles are so colorful and beautiful. The storyline is interesting which adds a bit more enjoyment. The variety of materials used gives the puzzles a special touch. The textures enhance the pictures, IMO. I own Game of Gods II and the quality and beauty are present there, as well.
The pieces fit into place with ease... and there was a good challenge, at least for me! I really appreciated not having to beat the clock in this mosaic game, just relax and enjoy.
I do wish more of these games came our way. There is such an over abundance of TM and Match 3 games. So I always jump for joy when I see a great quality, fun mosaic. Now, if we could just get some quality jigsaw puzzles, too!!!!
God Bless....
I recommend this game!

Alas! This series, IMO, has gone from very bad to much worse. I see nothing (again) reflecting the beauty and sweetness of our dear Cinderella story. Very sad, indeed!
I hate the very visible lines around the pieces. I think the adults and children always look ridiculous in their unprofessional poses. It would have been better to use artwork/lovely drawings. The costumes were nice, the colors were pretty, I like that the puzzles reset with new starting pieces every time you want to replay. The thing I like the most is that I can uninstall this game!
Sorry, devs! I sincerely do try hard to enjoy your puzzles, but they really need some major changes to improve them.
I know other puzzle fans will probably love this offering, we all have different tastes and opinions. But I just find nothing appealing here and, based on my puzzle geekiness, I don't recommend it.

I own all but their Magic Mosaics game simply because I wasn't experienced at playing nonograms at that time. Since then I finally got the hang of it and absolutely love them. Now I ask myself what the fuss was all about. This newest mosaic game is enjoyable and relaxing in spite of keeping my mind busy with the business of logic.
I love the little story here and the bonus jigsaw puzzles are a nice addition. The pictures are adorable, and easily identifiable even if they were not titled. I enjoy the challenge of the various sized grids as I progress through the levels. The pictures could be brighter, IMO, but it doesn't spoil the fun! Happy, bright colors are always better wth mosaics.
My very favorite griddlers are the Rainbow Mosaics and The Far Kingdoms Garden Mosaics. But I have just one complaint, which applies to them all...the contrast between the numbers around the grid and the background image is not bright enough. This causes (me) needless errors many times and my frustration takes off like a rocket, lol. My eyes are gently aging now and I wear glasses, so maybe it is more of a problem for me than for other nonogram fans, But, then again, maybe not. But I must say the issue is not as bad here as in the other games.
Now if we could just receive more of these lovely little gems! They don't come to us often enough.
God Bless....
I recommend this game!

I was really annoyed at the lack of any resemblance to the Cinderella fairytale that I love. Mosaic puzzles are lots of fun IF the pictures are worthy of time spent piecing them together.
The pictures were not at all attractive, especially with the deep puzzle lines that chop it all up and they were just plain boring. The colors were blah and the models looked ridiculous in their costumes and make-up, the little girls looked silly. It was difficult for me to get through just 6 of the puzzles before calling it quits.
The game did run smoothly, the pieces went to the board easily, there was a relaxed mode and a left hand option. Mosaics have good replay value because different starter pieces are on the board each time you play, The features are okay if you don't mind a limited amount, they are simple to use, just not enough options to make it more fun.
If you are familiar with 8Floor, you'll find that nothing has changed here and new features have become a lost hope, The pictures just seem to become less appealing with each new game they release.
I know there are plenty of puzzle lovers who will really enjoy this latest set. I strongly suggest trying the demo first. And hopefully it will be a fun hour for you.
God Bless....

I thoroughly enjoyed my short trip through the demo. As with all the previous Park Ranger games, it is packed with all kinds of puzzles, mini games, hidden objects, wildlife animals to find and things to clean up, and so much more. Non-stop fun!
My favorite things about Park Ranger have always been all the background activity, the little things going on. Plus all the real people visitors, the scenery and wildlife. These games are quite educational and have excellent replay value.
The graphics are top-notch crystal clear, and each scene is brilliant with color and detail. I really believe this is one of the best games offered at Big Fish. Rarely a game comes along that is child friendly, educational, fun for the entire family and for all ages, is visually interesting and realistic. AND no evil of any kind, no purple or pink. No darkness, only beauty and light.
I'm not too keen on the idea of this being a CE though. It should be at a price that is easier to justify, IMO, mainly because it doesn't have the usual CE bling and also for the type of game it is. But, yes, I am buying, because I have all the others and there is too much fun stuff to pass up!
God Bless....
I recommend this game!

Love stories about mystical creatures. A brief description of the creatures who live in the Secret City is provided in the demo. The demo begins with Sakir, who is one of them, calling on his friend and master detective to investigate the murder of a Dwarven friend.
The mysterious disappearance of Merfolk Kingdom which vanished 500 yrs ago is linked to his death. So off we go on a very interesting mission to a watery kingdom. I really don't want to give away much more because I think you should enjoy the fun along the way without knowing everything ahead of time.
Our detective has been given TWO gadgets to help in his quest of solving this case: special glasses to see past the magic protection of The Secret City and a medallion that allows him to see the memories of anyone, even if they are dead. The game also includes morphing statuettes, diary pages and starfish. A handy pop-out tab keeps track of them for you. The map is different and works very well. Variety of game modes and mini games offer choice of easy or hard.
The HOPs and games were excellent and challenging. I enjoyed them a great deal, some were new to me. Great quality, IMO. There is an alternative Match 3 with the HOPs. The graphics were very clear and colorful, not weird colors that are so unpopular in a lot of today's games. The characters had excellent voices with realistic expression. I loved the looks of them all but the female villain looked quite cartoonish to my eye.
Inventory filled quickly but items used soon enough, so not bogged down with lots of stuff. The tasks were not complicated or tedious. The game ran very smoothly, none of those awful black screen delays between scenes, it moved along at a good pace.
Because of the theme of this game, I purchased it and doubt I will have any regrets. I think it can be enjoyed by any age player, especially with the game modes offered. This was a good demo, it made my decision to purchase an easy one.

I absolutely love these Jewel Match games. They have everything imaginable to provide top quality fun. Match 3 and building are a perfect combination for me. Castles never interest me much in games, but Jewel Match takes them to a higher level of building enjoyment. Loving it!
I don't mind that this one is Halloween themed, because the tiles are so colorful and have such cute icons. The game runs smoothly, has so many special features and extra goodies, like the jewel boards, puzzles, hidden objects. I love being able to replay the levels to better your score. Need to do that sometimes to gain access to other rooms and the puzzles. You can choose your preferred level of challenge, I always play Limited Moves. I love a not so easy Match 3 game, challenge makes it great fun. And good strategy really comes in handy.
Right now I am all caught up in Naturescapes. Have been playing what seems forever and loving every minute. It has very colorful, pretty tiles and gorgeous scenes to create as a reward for your efforts. So much fun and relaxation!
I hope more Jewel Match games are coming to Big Fish. They are worth every penny of the price and more than make up for the duds that we have all experienced. A terrific Match 3 rarely comes our way these days.
I recommend this game!

I keep hoping the next one will be better, but for me it never happens with this dev. Africa should have been much more than what was presented here. Quite disappointing!
The pictures are bright and sharp, the colors are very beautiful. There are 500 puzzles again, instead of the 1001. The music is just okay, all else is basically the same as previously offered by 8 Floor.
When I think of Africa or watch documentaries, I don't see hamsters with silly little hats, polar bears and pandas, home-baked pies, scenes that look like our Western U.S. deserts and models wearing beaded necklaces or dressed like a Native American Indian. As usual there is an abundance of staged pics of food and flowers.
There are some pics of sea life and animals, and beautiful birds, but nothing out of the ordinary. Though very lovely, they just don't interest me enough. The scenery looks more typical of the United States. I was expecting to find jungle scenes with animals and flowers in their natural habitat, a bush animal laying in the shade of a lone tree, animals gathered round a drinking hole, a Native village, a display of African garments and jewelry. You know, stuff like that ! Not all town/resort type shots.
I am certain this newest offering of puzzles from 8Floor will be a pure delight for so many puzzle lovers. But just not for this old puzzle geek who is always looking for "more."
I recommend this one because there are some very nice puzzles that you will love, if you are not as picky-picky as me!
God Bless....
