Ingredients for an adventure full of beauty and surprises as the search leads to secrets and mystery. As you discover the Seeds living in the lush hillsides of Ireland, the tale unfolds into a wonderous journey that reveals how and why Grandfather disappeared years ago.
The demo was well put together and inspired me to purchase the game. I really like the theme of this artistically beautiful story. It is full of all things Irish, right down to our helper which is a delightful Irish Setter. I haven't seen much of him so far, but I love his assistance.
The graphics are nice and sharp, the scenery is really beautiful and shows off lots of lovely green Irish countryside. The music is nice and the sound f/x are very good. The characters are rendered quite well and the voice-overs seem to be fitting to each personality. There's lots of interesting things to take in along the way, I love all the detail and I love the characteristics of the Seeds. Stories with magical beings and hidden kingdoms intrigue me immensely.
I am only a few chapters in, so I don't know what lies around the next corner. But so far the game is very entertaining. I am not struggling with the frustration of too many nonsensical tasks and collecting the items for inventory is going well. The game is running with no tech issues.
Again, I will complain that the puzzles far out-number the HOPs. But the quantity here is not as absurb as in most games that we've been seeing for a long time now. The puzzles are not all that hard to solve, actually pretty easy. So, I'm playing without no skips so far. I am enjoying the variety of HOPs and find them to be of average challenge, but wish there were more of them. HOPs, of course, should be one of the main attractions in a HOPA game, not puzzles or mini-games.
There are collectibles and elves to locate in each scene and a moderate amount of achievements to earn. The collectibles are not the same in each scene which adds a bit more fun to the search. There is a magic amulet and we must look for the beads which recharge it. A feature that I love, in regards to the collectibles, is the sidebar indicator that keeps you informed of what you have found. So there are enough extras to make this a good CE, in my opinion.
I/m anxious to see whether the Bonus Chapter enhances the story of the Seeds and maybe shed some more light on this magical adventure. I think the nature of this story should appeal to young and adult players. Plus the choices of game modes allows any skill level to enjoy.
Discovering what lies within a game is a fun experience, so I never pass along any info that would spoil the element of surprise. Try the demo and make your decision about this game that I personally find very entertaining. It's a shame that the extremely long and detailed reviews take away that fun of discovery for others. I stopped reading them long ago as I feel there is no reason to buy the book, if someone has already read me the story.
This is a beautiful game that I anticipate enjoying for many hours, with all the detail and interesting sights to behold.
I recommend this game!

This is a quality Domini creation that is worth checking out. It is interesting, entertaining, and contains a good balance of HOPs and puzzles. The excellent graphics were consistent throughout, with very colorful scenes and wonderful detail in each location. I found everything quite interesting in this other-world adventure. I tend to take my time with this kind of story, to soak in all the surroundings.
The story kept my attention from fading, with the conflict at hand between humans and the inner-world beings that occupy 3 underground secret worlds. It was entertaining and it was a lengthy game. I don't think buying the SE will have a negative effect on the fun of this game. It is fast paced with plenty to keep you busy. The HOPs and puzzles were of average challenge, I did skip a couple of puzzles just because they required more time than I was willing to spend.
The characters and voice-overs were excellent, the familiar purple and green brights were present as usual, being a Domini game. I'm not a fan of these extreme colors but I have learned to just accept them and quit grumbling! The game ran without a hitch and it, for me, was an overall good experience.
Domini has a fantastic talent that delivers top quality each and every time, in my opinion, and you'll find they don't skimp on the extras if you have not yet tried a CE from these devs.
Try the demo for a sampling of the appeal I found in this geological adventure. Hope you like it as much as I did.
I recommend this game!

The Mystery Trackers Series had some really good games early on, my favorites were the two Raincliff releases. Fatal Lesson is my first purchase in about 4 yrs, although I've never missed a demo. The story caught my attention with the abandoned facility and its connection to the monster lurking about.
It's good to see that Elf is still busy helping out, he was a sweet highlight. I hope he never gets "canned". Not all helpers are tolerable, Elf was not the typical annoying distraction that most tend to be.
The game, so far, has been entertaining, investigating the disappearance of two students from training camp. With a monster lurking in the forest it won't be an easy task getting to the bottom of things. I like the mystery within this story.
There is a lot of back and forth in this game, it creates much tedium but the map is a great help. There are plenty of activities to keep you busy, and the HOPs and mini-games were quite good. I loved the complexity of a couple of the HOPs, one where a combo of facts and evidence are involved in completing the scene. The puzzles are not super time consuming and I love that there is not a crazy abundance of them. That means I don't have to skip any which is a big issue in these games that contain 50+ puzzles, that I finally quit purchasing.
There is a fun variety, in Fatal Lesson, of HOPs and games that I find entertaining. The morphs are not always so easy to spot because of the subtle difference between the two images, That makes it more fun. Not many collectibles or achievements in this game to make it a great CE edition, but I always like the Bonus Chapter and Strategy Guide that are worthwhile extras.
It's disappointing, being unable to complete a puzzle due to missing pieces, as was mentioned in Sunnyglow's review and I'm surprised that the Strategy Guide was apparently not proof-read and double checked thoroughly enough, which is vital for these games. I haven't reached the Bonus Chapter yet. If it provides the extra fun adventure and is an extension of the main game, then I won't fret much over the jigsaw issue. Still a shame that it happened.
I am enjoying our new Mystery Trackers: Fatal Lesson and feel it is a decent offering from Elephant Games, in spite of the boo-boos. I think all skill levels will be able to enjoy this monster mystery. .
I recommend this game!

I bought this solitaire, being familiar with the dev's reputation for quality games. It displays beautiful graphics, a fun challenge created by the obstacle cards, quick morph bonuses that appear occasionally and there is a variety of options available. I like the mini game jigsaws that are not too EZ-PZ and there is a cute story that comes along with Elemental Wizards;
High/low is my favorite of solitaire games and this one suits me just fine. It offers fun, interest, strategy, challenge, and extras that make it a good purchase. I do like Elemental Wizards more than the last two solitaires released on BFG.
There are a couple of flaws but they weren't annoying enough to prevent me from purchasing. I wish there was an extra undo. Plus, I noticed that several cards at a time on the deck would occasionally flip over, which can make a difference in reaching your 3-star goal. It creates an unfair influence on the outcome. So, when it happens, I replay the level to be sure I have not been shorted of any deck cards.
Haven't been shopping yet because it takes a long time to be able to afford the bonuses. It costs way too much, in my opinion, to purchase the upgrades to the power-up cards. So far I have not needed any.
I have been playing for quite a while now and find it quite entertaining. A good solid game that provides much of what I look for in solitaire. Give the demo a whirl, hopefully this will be a good choice for you, too!
I recommend this game!

What a doozy of a Match 3 game! Well worth the CE price. This game is so maxxed out with features and extras, it would be impossible for me to find anything to dislike. Fun abounds with the castles, the decorating, the HOGs and puzzles. Earning all the bonuses and power-ups makes this a busy game plus you have to be mindful of your earned coins which are used in the Shop for decorations. The Treasure Chest fills with tiles that are needed to create the castles.
The large boards hold a lot of tiles, so you can't just breeze through the levels. It requires some strategy to complete each room and it's a fun challenge for me since I like playing with Limited Moves. I love everything about these Jewel Match games which have provided me with endless entertainment. I own them all but especially love the CE editions. Great replay value and all skill levels can join in the fun.
A top quality Match 3 creation, very deserving of 5 stars. The devs really do a smashing job on everything! This one came at a great time, too, when we all are urging BFG to bring us QUALITY games like in the good old days. I also am delighted that there is a BOGO Sale today which gives me one more reason to smile. Just simple little pleasures to bump up my day!
Thanks, Suricate Software, for this great bundle of fun!
I recommend this game!

I love vampire stories and my armchair trip to Transylvania awaits me. No danger involved, thank goodness! Why are vampires always so handsome, anyway? Well, I finished the demo and purchased this Dark Romance gothic tale right away. It has been very entertaining so far and there is so much to take in visually, that I am playing especially slow. Don't want to miss anything.
The graphics have that notorious Domini touch and they are excellent. Nice and clear, saturated in rich color, yet still giving the feel of gloom and darkness that sets the atmosphere for this kind of story. I got hooked on the old Hammer productions with all their atmospheric beauty and creepiness. This Dark Romance tale has some of those touches. I do hope it also has a good, solid ending as well.
It is a busy game with lots of tasks to undertake, a moderate amount of collectibles to find, and music that fits the theme. The characters are attractive, good voice-overs and costumes are beautifully done. I think the music works well with the story and the sound f/x nicely depict the creepiness.
The HOPs are very good and I love them all to this point in the game, I am in Chapter 2. The puzzles are not terribly complex and the challenge is comfortable for me. Even at Expert Level, puzzles really perplex me at times. So, I am enjoying these and truly appreciate the reasonable quantity of mini-games, but still wishing there were more HOPs. I am an incurable hidden object piggy! A great big thank you to Domini for not filling this game with a ton of puzzles!!!
The special features are great as usual and the choice of game modes is especially nice, since it allows all skill levels to enjoy the fun. Adjusting the wait times for hint and skip is another feature I love. The map makes travel less of a pain in the rear, I am the impatient sort and don't enjoy lots of back and forth. So, all in all, this is proving to be the perfect game for me. Try the demo and maybe, you too, will enjoy this vampire fantasy.
I recommend this game!

I own several Match 3s from this series and have enjoyed them all. Finding today's new release was a happy occasion and I love the Egyptian theme. The game reminds me somewhat of Cradle of Rome and I purchased after completing the demo.
Jewels of the Gods 2 has a generous amount of fun Match 3 features. There are mini games scattered throughout the game and a village to build. There are several play modes available, I chose Medium for the demo and was comfortable with the moderate difficulty.
The graphics are clear and very colorful, it's a busy game, bright and flashy action on the boards, and the obstacles create a fun challenge as the game progresses. There are 3 different types of bombs, the rechargeable (purchased) power boosters are very handy, and there is the usual goal of 3 stars per level. Replay is possible, only if you don't achieve the 3 stars. There are 3 cursor choices but I always use my own which has smoother movement, and there are lots of achievements. The bonuses are good, there is a treasure chest that contains a variety of monetary gifts that will be helpful to your building funds.
Building the village requires earning jewels and coins, and certain achievements. You can also purchase upgrades. The number of levels will provide an average amount of Match 3 fun, but I'm pretty piggish when it comes to game length and never quite feel there is enough! lol
The demo ran without a hitch so I'm hoping the full game is free of any hang-ups. There are other points I haven't covered here, but I hope I've helped a little. My detail is scanty on Match 3s because the game mechanics are somewhat difficult for me to describe in uncomplicated terms. Other reviewers do a stellar job at explaining it all.
Another good game from Magnussoft, try the demo for an hour of fun.
I recommend this game!

It is an odd one, to be sure, in my opinion. It was confusing because I had trouble understanding the instructions. I ended up just plunking along, trying to figure things out. I did make it to the end of the demo, because I'm stubborn and kept hoping that AHA! moment would hit me...but it never happened.
I didn't much care for the boards, the colors were drab and the tiles were very blah. But the background was colorful. I'm glad there was a Relaxed Mode, otherwise my progress would have been stymied early in the game. The levels I played each had a different goal with created more interest. There were basic obstacles along with bunches of spider webs, the power-ups seemed okay. It was challenging, mostly due to the confusion that followed me throughout the demo.
I liked the building involved which was accomplished with the resources earned on each level in this Match 3 game. But, honestly, my patience would wear thin. trying to complete the entire game. It just didn't have that user-friendly element and it had become tedious and a bit boring by the end of the demo. I don't see myself buying this game, since playing made me a little up-tight with frustration.
It may appeal to others, who may find a satisfying challenge with this Match 3 adventure and the task of rebuilding a Dwarven Kingdom. Building is a fun project, but I just couldn't find enough fun here, to make it worthwhile.
I would suggest trying the demo on this one. You might find something special about it, that I overlooked. At least I hope you do. I am recommending only slightly, because my Match 3 requirements may have kept me from seeing the fun, if any!
I recommend this game!

When the CE version came out I was anticipating more than what I found. I completed the demo but wasn't much impressed because other than the cartoonish artwork, the game was the same as the others. Since the sweet little fairy and building her forest home, the appeal of Dreamland Solitaire seems to be gradually slip-sliding away.
The building is no longer fun (for me) because the beauty has become cartoonish drawings that have no appeal. I don't know why the devs thought this change was necessary. IMO, new features, bonuses, etc would have been much better. The graphics are very sharp and colorful and the card styles are nice. Another plus is that there are never any tech issues to slow things down. The game offers very little challenge even with the obstacle cards. I breezed through the demo in no time flat.
In all fairness, I cannot say this is a bad solitaire game. It just doesn't have that special element that keeps my attention, keeps boredom at bay and makes building a fun "project." You may absolutely love it, especially if you haven't yet played Dreamland Solitaire. As a basic up/down solitaire, it serves its purpose and will be a good one to help you relax from a grueling day. Beginners to the game, and children, will find it easy to learn.
I recommend this game!

Werewolf stories don't come along very often anymore. The storyline sounded interesting, so I was anxious to check out this new Five-BN adventure.
The locations were dressed in beautiful color and the scenes were full of interesting detail and crystal clear, as always, with Five-BN's excellent graphics. The game moved along at a nice pace and the tasks were not a burden, the features were super, I didn't need to use the map, but it provided speed and info that lessens the dreaded back and forth that sometimes bogs me down.
There's a good amount of collectibles for CE fans. But I think the game itself will not suffer without them, if you select the SE. It's nice that we have choices!
The werewolf theme greatly appeals to me but I didn't buy Stolen Life only because, for me, 50+ mini-games is just too many! I am a big HOPA fan and I enjoy puzzles in moderation. But all the puzzle fans will have a blast for sure with this game. The entire demo was fun, the excellent HOPs and puzzles were challenging, but not overly so.
No doubt about it, Five-BN delivers quality entertainment every time! Hope to see more intriguing Legendary Tales adventures with that special fantasy touch that this dev does so well. Try the demo for a fun 90 minutes.
