certainly know how to get around. Its seems they have no problem travelling to various countries via motorbike and I'll bet Zoran is having a blast with his buddy on the trek! A simple little story, a minor amount of construction along the way while sight-seeing. The unrealistic trip provides a little mosaic fun and relaxation.
The graphics are nice and sharp, the artwork is well done, music is so-so. A small assortment of tile sets and really pretty colors made the puzzles fun, the images were cute but very basic. I always enjoy all the little details in the pics but these were pretty good without them and recognizable, and they were labeled. 4 mistakes per puzzle, 2 simple power-ups, rather simple to work with but still some fun to be had.
In the demo I was able to finish 7 puzzles, not rushing and without expert mosaic skills so it may or may not be a good value for some. There are 150 puzzles plus the little bit of "work" to be done in each location, which consists of placing building parts onto the shadowed areas. The game ran with no glitches. It was an okay game but not one I would buy, only because I prefer something more along the lines of Detective Agency, Rainbow Mosaics and such.
If you like mosaics, I'd say give it a try. It's not bad if looking for something to fiddle with after a hectic day that takes your mind to a quiet place. That's one reason I love mosaic games.
I recommend this game!

Laruaville 12 could not have come at a better time, for me, as I needed something to cheer me up as my heart is hurting for Ukraine and the turmoil there. So many of our developer friends are struggling right now. Please be kind with your comments even if you are unhappy with a game.
Well today's new delight is just as colorful, cute, fun, challenging as the previous 11 games. I notice little changes along the way and they really keep the boredom for rearing it's ugly head. I have never been disappointed. The quirky little ghosts are humorous and their endeavors keep them busy enough!
The mini games are all fun. The HOs are always very well hidden. I am majorly stumped for quite a while sometimes, refusing to use a Hint and the Spot-The-Difference takes some time too, but neither game will make you cuckoo with frustration. I am loving the addition of the slider game, it's been a favorite for many years. This one is small, not crazy-hard and a refreshing change from solitaire. Also, the new slider bar on the game boards is a fun extra challenge that I am enjoying in Number 11. I just opened today's game so don't know if it is still here. The tiles are always a good size and different in every new game, removing the coins is still the ultimate goal and the entertainment never falters. I anticipate a new little something with each one.
This is much like Cursed House but not as difficult to maneuver about, but still requires strategy and thought to get to those coins. I prefer the tougher challenge of Cursed House but Laruaville offers plenty of it to be satisfying. The power-ups are just the right amount of help and without all the flashy fireworks involved as in other Match 3 games. It requires some thought as to how to use them to your advantage. The Hint is available only in some levels and it directs you to the trouble spot but you have to figure out how to solve your dilemma.
I'm always happy to purchase another Laruaville where there are no monsters, psychos and fairies to contend with. Those are okay in limited doses but some lighthearted fun is always welcomed. Give the demo a peek if you've not yet tried this Match 3. It's different, cute, colorful gameplay, has a little story attached and always a new theme.
I recommend this game!

I was beginning to lose all hope of ever seeing a great game again after all the disappointments for so long. I don't recall anything previously from Dragonseye Studios, but they got my attention today with this very entertaining storyline. It definitely takes more than a few minutes in the demo to make any progress. I feel it is terribly unfair to judge this game by just a very short attempt to play. In my opinion it would be a shame to miss out on it when considering the long absence of quality games at BF. I'm also amazed at the rudeness of some gamers' comments, especially when they don't even give the game a chance and know little or nothing about the developer.
Anyway, the entire demo was great and 60 minutes just wasn't enough. That is a first-time statement for any trial from me! It was a slow process because this is not a simple little no-brainer that holds your hand all the way through. It seemed forever to figure out what to do with the birdhouse. Things I needed and areas to search were not so obvious. Also items I acquired were actually useful and made sense, and my pocket knife was handy for several different tasks. For me, that right there deserves a gold star!
Loved the sense of humor in the bedroom with the annoying alarm clock. We can all relate to that can't we?! The graphics were very appealing and the colors perfect, nothing neon for a change. The artwork was beautiful and the characters were so nicely hand-drawn, which I feel added another level of quality to the game. The scenes/locations had lots to see but there was no clutter or confusion when items had to be located. I saw little of the characters but the voice-overs were good and even though they looked a little cartoonish I liked how they looked, and Todd the Ghost was cute.
There are not many HOPs and puzzles but that doesn't concern me, because the quality and variety were great. They were not the typical easy-breezy kind that are just too simple to enjoy. On the other hand, the challenge was not difficult to overcome. It just takes more thought and a little more time to figure out the puzzles and I really like that. Also, the HOPs in the demo were not the usual. I loved the first one with the frog, very different. The HOPs were very interactive, clever and rank amongst the great ones I've played, especially in the past several years. The HOP scenes were rather dark, making the items harder to locate, but that was okay because it I enjoyed them so much.
The collectibles weren't abundant but sufficient in this CE because I really preferred spending my time in the adventure and not busy looking for extra stuff. The three items were not so easy to spot, they didn't stick out the way we are so accustomed but they posed no frustration. However, the morph that I first found was HUGE and bright, I was really surprised!
I am buying this game, the first one in many months and look forward to the entertainment ahead. I can tell this will be a long game for me, judging by my progress in the demo. For once this is not a bad thing. Usually slow progress is due to all those stupid tasks I painfully endure in each demo. This time it is all pleasure. I do think the Plus Items could have been simpler to access and if you prefer Custom Mode it takes multiple clicks to reduce the Hint and Charge times. Otherwise those are just very minor complaints I can work around.
I think this game will appeal to everyone. It is lighthearted, has a good storyline, likeable characters, great visuals and no creepy, crazy creatures. Fun for all skill levels. I enjoyed Tearstone because it involves dream scenarios, the reality of the quest and a dose of other places yet to be seen. Not the usual format or typical villains. Also the story is divided into chapters which should make it easier to keep up with the story and keep track of what needs to be done.
In my opinion, Dragonseye Studios did a superb job with this game and I hope they won't make themselves scarce. We majorly need developers that put a lot of time and effort into their creations. We have plenty of devs that are getting lazier by the minute when it comes to quality and customer satisfaction. I was unaware of the first Tearstone so I have to look it up and see what I missed. I may be alone in my opinions here, but Dragonseye clearly shows that it is possible to make quality entertainment when care and talent are at the forefront instead of a quick buck!
I recommend this game!

If you enjoyed the first edition of this delightful game, you will be in kitty heaven with this latest one. I own both, in the CE versions, and being an avid cat lover I will never tire of them. This is quality entertainment, for me, that I eagerly purchased in spite of the CE cost. Normally I would wait for the SE with this type of hidden object game,
The graphics are so sharp, the locations are filled with lots to take in, scenery is bright with vibrant color. There are not only cats to look for. The items are well blended into the surroundings and small, but don't let that put you off. A good challenge is provided and there are options/features you will find helpful. We get a nice variety of puzzles long the way, too, which breaks up the hunt a little when we've been at it a while.
Searching for all the fur balls is fun for me, it unclutters my brain and puts me in a calm place. My two sweeties do an excellent job of keeping me happy! If you love cats give the demo a spin, it just might brighten up your day. There are no tech issues so your fun is uninterrupted, the game is age and family friendly, great replay value. It's nice when something like this is offered on BF, a welcomed change from all the dark and fantasy HOPAs. How often do we get a good quality hidden object game? Very rarely!
I recommend this game!

I did not review this game when it first came out, but I do own the first game's CE. After checking it out today, I found it interesting enough to consider buying. I liked the modern-day story, not another of the too many fantasy games we get all the time. The puzzles and HOPs were easy and the game itself not very challenging but I enjoyed the storyline. Detective Andersen has a unique case to crack. Give the demo a try for some simple gameplay. I think it's an okay SE.
It is a shame that our TGT has not consistently been a new game lately. I'm unhappy to find an old Daily Deal so frequently now, especially when I consider all the poor quality games we seem to get on a regular basis. I think we all are disappointed more often than not when our expectations are slighted.
However, I am aware of the turmoil and uncertainty revolving around political events in Ukraine presently. Many of our developers lives and careers there have been affected and game production has slowed or stopped for the time being. Not all game creators are from the U.S. I can be more patient and understanding, BF games are not all that important when compared to what is causing the shortage of entertainment.
Hopefully, a peaceful outcome is near and things can get back to normal for everyone.
I recommend this game!

All he managed to do is sit with his bride-to-be and stare at her while chaos was all around him. And to make the situation even more annoying, he had the phone dial in his pocket for some stupid reason and he didn't even try to help extinguish the fire. Hopefully this girl "wakes up and smells the coffee", Victor is not a good catch. I played the entire demo and wasn't too thrilled with it mainly because there was too much to do in order to get into solving the mystery at hand. This always seems to be the case, no matter who the developer is. Too many tasks, too little action in the demo to help with my decision to buy the game.
What I did really enjoy were the HOPs and puzzles. Every one of them was a good challenge and very different from what I usually see in games these days. There was a good deal of interactivity in the HO scenes, making them more interesting and the variety of styles was fun. The puzzles were of average difficulty but they were not the usual types that we are bored with in most other games. Also there was not an over abundance of puzzles which kept me from skipping any.
I thought the graphics were really nice as were the colors. The scenes were not cluttered and items I needed were, for the most part, appropriate and in line for that time period. A few things had not been invented at that time, but overlooking the boo-boos was easier than dealing with the annoyance. When I saw the beehive I was prepared to find a smoking gadget but to my relief the butterfly net did the job. The locations where the collectibles were hidden were poorly lit and the colors were pretty dark so it wasn't so easy finding them. I didn't even bother several times just so I could progress through the demo a little quicker.
There were only a few characters in the demo, Simon being the chatty one with his paranoid statements and irriitating voice. The story was introduced by a fellow who has no idea of what a British accent sounds like and he sounded ridiculous. I know it is a small detail when you consider that these are just fantasy games, after all. But I for one would really love some authenticity once in a while, and language and accents are good places to start.
The story caught my attention but there wasn't much to go on during the demo to indicate what lies ahead regarding the mystery and motives behind the plot. GrandMA usually gives us quality games and stories that stand out from other developers, but I'm still hesitant to buy this game. There are two collectibles and not many achievements which is the norm for most CEs nowadays and most CEs are very short in comparison to those from previous years. I think I would be more apt to go for the SE with this game, as I wouldn't be missing much without the extra content.
It seems like an adventure everyone can enjoy regardless of age or skill level. The Custom Mode makes gameplay easier with reduceable skip and hint recharge and lots of sparkles if you prefer more than the average amount of assistance. The music became a little much so I ended up silencing that soon enough, there were no tech issues, the game went along at a decent pace in spite of those little tasks that seem to take up more time than I wish to spend on them. With little of the adventure in the demo I rated 3 stars because the HOPs and puzzles were great, more of the story may have increased my evaluation. Hopefully you enjoy this new offering from GrandMA, we don't get many from this fine developer lately.
I recommend this game!

It seems Snow White has evil running through her veins just like any other villain. In this corrupt fairytale if you are expecting a once upon a time love story of a prince and beautiful maiden, you will be surprised at what you find! Interesting story, not the usual good and bad personalities.
The demo contained the usual assortment of things to repair, locate and uncover. Each task completed led to another just as tedious, complete with the boredom as reward for my efforts. I saw nothing that made this game stand out as anything special or different from other warped fairytales. However, the characters reflected a new twist on good and evil by making the stepmother a victim this time, of Snow White's evil intentions.
HOPs and puzzles were okay throughout the demo, average challenge and mostly familiar styles from other games. Graphics and color were fine, scenes were interesting, not overflowing with lots to search for needed items. Because of this the pace of the game was tolerable. With only 3 chapters it's hard to know just how lengthy the game might be. Sometimes chapters are very long, sometimes way too short. These days not even the extra content of a CE can guarantee that you get your money's worth. This CE has 12 dolls and 48 jigsaw pieces to collect and they are very easy to find.
With a good sale I will likely purchase the SE but I don't go for CEs anymore since they are usually on the short side and the stories often weaken along the way, leading to a flat ending. I think this game will probably appeal to fractured fairytale fans of all ages and those curious about the other side of Snow White we never knew existed. Hopefully it turns out to be entertaining, we get enough disappointments these days!

Well, things don't seem to be improving on BF lately. Our Bonus Monday now gives us old Daily Deals, no Bonus Punch. Any new game isn't new at all, just an old game dusted off and given a new title. SE games are, as always, being passed off as new when in fact they are the CEs {we've already seen} with the collectibles removed. Match 3s, solitaires, etc are piddly, simple and childish with no challenge whatsoever and have no entertainment value. And now Fantasy Mosaics has delivered Number 51 in their adventure series.
The penguins are still trekking all over creation, wandering into various situations as they collect menial little things for their stash of souvenirs. I imagine many mosaic lovers will never tire of them and still eagerly purchase the games. But honestly 51 is really going overboard with what was once a cute, fun series. I do think the images in the Jungle Adventure are cuter than the most recent ones, they are colorful and plentiful, the features still are helpful bonuses that make assembly easier. However, the series needs change. Nothing new is ever included to bump up the fun. Makes no sense to buy the same games over and over.
I left the penguins behind at Number 20 for the newer mosaics that have come along. Better features, fun mini-games, cute storylines, a goal to accomplish. Yes, I keep checking the demoes and no I never find anything that calls me back. Fantasy Mosaics appeals to many fans of this genre who don't mind the same old stuff each time, are in love with the penguin family and like to see their collections grow. The puzzles vary in challenge, the images are usually very cute and well detailed so it's easy to recognize the finished piece. I've never encountered any tech issues, graphics are always bright and crystal clear, the small variety of tile choices are fun. This is not a bad series at all, I'm just very tired of it, and keep waiting for something different to show up.

This is by no means a gaming masterpiece! Domini seems to have their own little planet where a particular inhabitant believes that everything touched by this developer turns to instant gold! This game is no different than any of the others where the tasks are boring and tedious and the CE content never changes, and the challenge is as scarce as hens' teeth.
Getting through the demo is always a chore I endure because I do try to give every Domini game a chance to redeem itself. However, time after time it is always the same disappointing format and flimsy storylines, though once in a while a good story does come along. It takes much more than a new title to make a great NEW game. No matter how beautiful or colorful the graphics may be, a strong plot and interesting likeable characters are the key ingredients to a quality game. Without sufficient adventure, logic and tasks that actually make sense to the story the game cannot flow at a comfortable pace and the fun factor is always way down there!
The HOPs and puzzles I encountered in the demo weren't bad, the HOPs were interactive and more enjoyable than the games. I saw no point to the irritating watch that pops up and stalls the search very briefly when you click too many times. I can figure out, without this feature, when I have clicked too often. The puzzles can be played in Easy or Hard Mode, they were easy enough to accomplish in Hard Mode, though I did have to switch to Easy a couple of times.
I was happy to not be dealing with any sort of gimmick in this game. However, I did not like that there are two possible endings. Without replaying the entire game there is no way of knowing what the alternative ending is all about. It would be nice to have some info regarding the second scenario so that I can make my choice without wondering if the other one might have been the better option. Give us a clue, without giving away anything important that would spoil the fun or surprise!
It should come as no surprise that the collectibles are the same format as in previous CEs but we have 70 pearls in this one as our exchange medium to decorate a special chamber. No challenge whatsoever locating the morphing flowers or other items, but many gamers don't mind that at all and just enjoy the extra activity regardless of how minimal it is. I met with no tech issues, music was pretty nice, the 4 play levels allow any skill level to enjoy, Suitable for all ages. Give the demo a try, you may like it much more than I did. I didn't recommend because the game is too similar to so many others put out by Domini with just a change of title.
I don't recommend this game.

I finished the demo without the usual boredom and frustration. The tasks weren't about finding all the broken keys, lost parts and buried whatever. They actually made sense to the story and the game progressed at a nice pace. Irish folklore is always so interesting and the magical creatures here added a fun touch to the tale.
The characters were nicely rendered, but the Irish dialect was missing from the voice-overs. The graphics were clear enough however the colors were quite dark and it was hard to make out things I was looking for, especially the collectibles. There are two foxes and two morphs in each scene, the foxes were much easier to spot.
I liked the HOPs. The few in the demo were pretty creative and quite interactive. Puzzles were good, not too difficult and were a bit different for a change. There was a bracelet gimmick that was used to help turn threatening creatures into friendly ones. I had to use it only twice in the demo. The artwork is cartoonish to some degree but overall not bad. The creatures were not too convincing. I don't ever like having to choose which ending I want to play out, really don't see the point. In any case I didn't have to make that decision as I failed to come across any option in the demo to do so.
I enjoyed the demo. There were 50 of each collectible and a few multi-part achievements amongst the 30. This CE is a much better deal than what the big "D" offers. Friendly Fox usually doesn't skimp on their extra content. I no longer buy CEs but I feel okay recommending this game. The story should appeal to all ages and Irish folklore is so colorful and full of magic. I will likely pick this up when the SE comes out.
I recommend this game!
