The premise of the story is nothing we haven't seen before and the plot involves 3 tales derived from a special collection of video games. They are deigned to overcome fears and anxieties. After a brief text your psychologist thinks you qualify for this type of therapy.
I loved every game and HOP in the demo. I felt they were quite creative and I enjoyed the interactivity. Not the usual variety and that made them more enjoyable. The collectibles and puzzle pieces were hard to spot, in dark areas, the graphics being dark as well made for a good challenge. The pop-out tabs for both were hard to read due to the darkness and disappeared too quickly.
The characters were stiff, robotic, always staring straight ahead as if in a trance. Vocals were awful, spoke very slowly like people do when they think you are deaf or something. The bartender and psychologist just sounded weird to me.
I liked the demo a lot, tasks weren't bothersome or silly like in most games. Also got to see more of the story than usual, met up with some characters from the dead. Not scary but interesting. I don't think this story will scare the pants off you as suggested at the beginning of the game.
I'm curious about the other victims from the video games and what tragedies caused their demise. This seems like a pretty good game from what I saw in the demo, especially with the quality of HOPs and games. Will likely purchase.
Took 2 attempts submit review due to the still messed up review page. Pennmom, thank you for your supportive comment re this issue!
I recommend this game!

are creating lots of obstacles for our lovesick kitty. He is determined to find his true love and escape the house, thus creating a different kind of animal game. It's pretty bare-bones, no special anything included.
If there are any features or rewards I certainly couldn't find them. The cat sits on a heap of coins at end of each level but don't know if or when they are used or for what purpose. The goal is to get past the brat pack and through the pet door. The demo was super easy. The game will have to become much more challenging or the 50 levels will be gone in a flash.
The little cupid pops in and lends a helping wing by pointing out items to distract the cats and make a path to each room. That's about it! It's cute and different but not enough to hold my interest for long. The graphics are good, the cute artwork is softly colored, music is nice. But without more than what I saw in the demo it's a pass for me. I expected more fun because cats are just that, fun with all their antics and cuteness!
I recommend this game!

Not a very good one imo. The story is told with written dialogue, some of it not necessary. Graphics are colorful. There are Relaxed, Normal and Hard modes. I chose Hard for the limited moves, it wasn't too difficult until later in the game.
The goal is to clear a designated color/number of gems or type of tile. Long matches give you various bombs that help clear the rows. There are 5 boosters earned as you play, a different kind of deliverance to the board. Very helpful when no available moves. I found none of the obstacles really difficult to remove but did run out of matches several times. The boards started out huge and simple but got more complex as the game progressed. I reached level 26 in the demo and they had expanded enough to add more challenge and the need for strategy.
The building wasn't much fun for me. Purchase items with gems earned from each level. You can choose what to buy or remove. The village is rebuilt on a dark background, items are quite small and don't show up well. I purchased 5 pieces and didn't like the results. Despite 100 levels I think the game will go quickly. It's an okay game but not a purchase for me.
In addition to the still faulty review page, numerous glitches are not being acknowledged by BF. Please! Take a closer look at your "great" new format and repair the damages it has caused! I am very disheartened over your reluctance to investigate these issues. They DO exist and ignoring them is not the solution.
Pennmom, thank you so much for supporting my grievance with the review page.

Just yesterday a game with a similar theme, but that one is much better than this one from Domini. I played the CE demo and came away with my usual opinion: too many tasks, not enough story, plenty of boredom. And with Domini it's always an old game, just new title and different characters.
The king has fallen ill and you, the Inspector of Magic with your trusty medical bag, determine he is under a curse. There's also a disloyal son stressing the king out with his betrayal. Family members can be the worst kind of enemies!
Disliked the HOPs, all scenes were very dark, hard to distinguish items. One with page overlays was extremely tedious. Enjoyed the puzzles, average challenge, fun. Characters looked great, except for the witch with Roald. Voices and lip sync better than usual but some movements were pretty stiff, some were "floaty." Scenes/locations were interesting, not overly cluttered but I thought the graphics were too dark, liked the music.
Game is quite easy, lots of tasks and potions. If you prefer that rather than more adventure, you will be pleased with what you find in this game.
My review took 2 attempts, edit button not working today, obviously the review page is still messed up. My review was deleted this time when someone else's was posted. Please BF, fix the review page!!! Rewriting all the time is NOT FUN.

I like this story and wish we had more games that involve the King Arthur period. The stories are always colorful and interesting, and contain magic and adventure. This one has the trusted court's magician travelling to 3 different worlds to save Queen Guinevere.
The graphics aren't great but I like the colors and visuals, scenes are a bit dark. Characters are stiff, the art style is so-so, but I love the costumes from this time period. I enjoyed the entire demo enough to keep from grumping about the tasks. I was especially thrilled with the quality of the collectibles and morphs. The mini games were fun and simple, skipped none. Loved the HOPs, nice assortment, no hints needed for items hidden in dark areas. Hopefully the purchasing process with new format will be glitch-free,
My review required 2 attempts to submit. BF won't step up investigation of review page that "broke" on first day of new format, claim that they have received very few reports on it. I find that just not a good answer! It is not fair to those struggling with its malfunction with each review!!
I recommend this game!

More juvenile boring subject matter, too many black lines, same drab ugly colors. Even the peacock and Mexico pictures, which should be bright and beautiful were drab with "off" colors. Still have to complete first level to get to the others.
The good things: Hint, Counter, Color Wheel to change background, Zoom, Free Color feature.
If you love beautiful colors, interesting detailed images, good variety of subject matter, you won't be happy with Paint By Numbers. If you enjoy very simple and quick painting and aren't into all that, this will be perfect!
It took 3 attempts to submit this review. BF hesitating to investigate the broken review page because apparently not enough gamers have reported it. What a pity!! Not right!!
I don't recommend this game.

Needless to say, 8 Floor has been busy digging up the most dreadful subject matter, models and locations for this collection. These devs have no eye for beauty and don't care about what they throw into the box. It is apparent in every release.
Absolutely none of the puzzles are related to detectives or crime. Sorting and assembling the pieces is a pain, the features are of little use, puzzle size is limited. The very pastel background colors, because their depth or brightness can't be changed, don't work with the majority of the puzzles. It actually makes matching the pieces a bit harder.
It's a shame that this dev sticks to the same unappealing everything and doesn't make an effort to improve. Once again 500 puzzles just go to waste. Perhaps they are a bit confused and believe that one star is the goal, rather than 5 stars?! I personally think they are simply lazy!!
I don't recommend this game.

If not for the same menial tasks as in every other Domini game I might have enjoyed it more. I always dread them and wonder why they can't create something new and use "tools" that aren't so ridiculous, i.e. the stud earring is just stupid.
A villainous gambler owes all his success to true love that he steals from others. By offering their hearts to a goddess via a ritual he's never short of cash, but always long on evil. 2 lovers try to defeat this nut case. It's a love story that I found silly and kind of boring but better than some of Domini's recent games.
Graphics not as sharp this time, less detail, colors and scenes were dark. Characters and voices were pretty good, lip sync was off quite a bit. Enjoyed the HOPs and puzzles this time. However, some HO scenes were so dark that items were hard to distinguish. Puzzles were more fun for me and that is rare! There was a good variety of both in the demo.
I prefer action and adventure rather than love stories, so this was a pass for me. All Domini games are cookie-cutter and not really new, just new titles and characters so I don't feel like I'm missing much. I did enjoy the demo more than usual, hopefully this will be the perfect game for you.
Thanks to still messed up review page, it took 3 attempts to submit my review. When will it end???

I'm not crazy about chain Match 3s, it's a different kind of challenge, not as much fun for me as swapping, but Hellas is better than most. I do own Hellas 3 and 5 but didn't enjoy enough to finish for some reason. The graphics are usually nice, boards and tiles good sized.
Each Hellas has a new theme. Today we're removing the evil that has invaded Hellas and entered people's hearts, and returning the wasteland to its original beauty. I didn't find the scenes very appealing, didn't care for the graphics so much this time and didn't like how the rebuilding worked. Everything was rather plain and dreary though some things, like the graceful birds, were beautiful. But the game was fun.
Played the demo in Relaxed Mode. Strategy was the key to making those long chains that help you conquer the challenges. Collectibles include coins, flowers, hearts, gold, gems, 84 seals. Power-ups on the board activate when included in a match, green tile matches activate the Shuffle. The obstacles were not too difficult to defeat, good variety. Lots of achievements.
Visually the game was rather plain but I enjoyed the demo, it had enough challenges to keep it interesting to the end. Will purchase the CE, it think it will be a good a game and the extra levels will make the fun last a good, long while.
I recommend this game!

The Gray family is odd, the backbone of this series, and the stories with a touch of the paranormal are interesting. I don't follow the series but own several of the earlier games and enjoyed them quite a bit. This one, traveling to various time periods, should provide some interesting visuals.
Carrying Dad's skull everywhere and his quirky remarks are not amusing to me and probably why I've never been a fan. But I like the stories and Elephant usually delivers a good game.
The graphics started out poorly but improved as the demo progressed. I liked the HOPs in the demo, especially dressing Anna. They and the puzzles were fun, average challenge. The characters have changed over time I think, probably due to different art styles throughout the series. I liked the originals much better. Although I didn't buy this game I think fans of Anna and Richard will enjoy it, especially with the return of Anastasia.
I recommend this game!
