Still have to complete the entire first level. There's a color wheel so you can change the background, a cell counter, Free Paint Mode, no-refill time for hints, and the zoom feature. That's it for the good stuff.
The pics are very juvenile. There are so many lines in them that it's impossible to achieve any depth. The colors are not at all pretty and very similar colors next to each other eliminate detail. Whoever chooses the color combinations, does a horrible job of it. The first 4 are Christmas images with lots of blue, purple, orange and yellow and the snow is grey. Not my idea of festive but something a youngster might like. Had to click on areas numerous times to apply color, the same to pick up from scroll. It was especially grueling when coloring the teeny little areas. Wasn't really worth all the trouble!
You would think that 15 games would be enough time to make improvements that are so obviously needed. I guess, first, the reviews need to be acknowledged before any changes will be made. It's hard to believe that someone really thinks this game is perfect the way it is. Yet, they do! There's nothing here but childish drawings, basic colors that are just kind of "off" and no use of imagination anywhere,
Some may be very satisfied with the art style but for me it's not even a consideration as a purchase or for free. Sorry!
If you hate cookie-cutter, hand-holding games please try this one for something, cute, different and challenging. Don't give up while you catch onto the "ins and outs". You will be rewarded with a wonderful game from the creator of Tearstone. It's one of the best, in my opinion, but give it a try. It won't appeal to everyone but if you love games that make you think, it will take you for a fun ride on the Moontrain. Check out the CE reviews!
Still it's an excellent series with plenty of fun and games. Along with the list items find 3 cats, 1 camera, 1 paw print in each level. Look for them in the sub-zones, too. The graphics are very sharp, natural color. Earn up to 3 stars, use your coins in the gift shop.
The levels including sub-zones are extremely full, the density makes the search quite challenging at times. The items are very well blended, most are small, some in dark areas. The small magnifier stays with you until ready to release it. 14 games includes mosaics and hidden object Chinese papercut art. All can be skipped and replayed. Casual and Challenge Modes, no timer or penalties. Lots of HOs to be discovered.
There are 30 locations mostly in or near buildings. I expected them to be more scenic or in the wild, so that was disappointing. Therefore, my deletion of one star. Still enjoyed!
This is a better than average SE hidden object game. The graphics are sharp and colorful, the locations are pretty, it has fun features and options that boost the entertainment value. A worthwhile purchase even without the CE content but I got the CE just for the extra locations.
Mini games, trivia, 5 play modes for each HO scene, 12 locations to visit, gift shop, magnifier. Pretty much all you need for a fun HOG and the replay value is endless. Items are not super easy to spot, good challenge, extra items to collect, zoom zone which is also a bit challenging. The only thing I don't like is the limited use of the magnifier. After finding 1 item it goes away. I prefer keeping it engaged until I am ready to release it. I think this is one of our better HO games. Thank you, Point 8.
10 seconds into the game and I have a broken key and sweeping away glass, so we're off to our usual start. And someone please answer the door! Constant knocking.
Nice graphics, rich colors. Goodlooking characters, lip sync and voices better that usual. Had to lower background sounds, too many, a bit distracting. The scenes were interesting, not too busy but some were to dark to spot collectibles. Puzzles were great, average challenge. I didn't enjoy the HOPs. One was very tedious, having to find and place overlays in a book.
Same old CE format. Domini's idea of "more game" really means more time fillers. 98% of the demo was wasted with tasks and potions. I got tired of them but finished the demo. If the entire game is like this, it will be very boring. with little story to enjoy. I didn't like it all. It might be greatly entertaining for you, but for me it was one big yawn session.
As if things aren't bad enough, today I am greeted by the Walkers and their clutter. The games are always the same so unless you just enjoy collecting series or love the animal characters, there is no need for a new one.
The graphics are always sharp, very bright and cheery Dialogue isn't important and can be clicked through. I've never heard any the relaxing music or beautiful sounds mentioned in the synopsis. There's plenty of junk including that silly little pair of boys underwear from the camping trip, too many sun emblems. You have a leaderboard with animal contenders to compete with. Play Easy or Difficult Mode, which isn't hard at all, but with the Timer you get a few extra points at end of level and 500 points for each unused Hint. The levels can be skipped or replayed in the Pause Menu.
The items you need are large and often right next to or atop one another, there's a small variety of mini games. No challenge here! The levels have different goals but most are matching pairs of objects. Not much to this game but the 140 levels provide enough clutter to make your head swim! It doesn't take long to become bored from the repetition, but give it a try. You may have a great time and the kids might like it.
The Review Page is really malfunctioning! 3 attempts to submit my review (today), very frustrating.
PLEASE!! Fix the review page! I cannot continue to do this. The days are piling up with no help, just emails acknowledging my help request. This is so wrong! Now today, the Home Page access is all messed up, too.
The game is new to me but I found that it surfaced in 2012 and has changed quite a bit. The original only generated 2 reviews. Hopefully this only will do better.
Boards are dark and icons are unappealing. The cursor, game or system, are both sluggish and "floaty". Music is bold and tribal, too repetitious. You will quickly tire of it. The graphics, except for the boards, were very sharp and colorful, nice hand drawn artwork.
Lots of obstacles and bonuses, typical types for Match 3. A certain number of tiles and gems were designated for removal. The fog was an annoying interference, overcoming the other obstacles was a more fun challenge. The variety of bonuses and the shuffle were very helpful.
There are mini games but only had a solitaire game in the demo in which I was able to complete 10 levels and earned 5 achievements. The play options are Endless, Moves and Timed. Challenge choices are Casual and Expert. I never won more than 2 stars on any level even though I accomplished all goals, so I don't know what is required to earn more.
100 levels, replayable, progressive challenge, mini games should make it a worthwhile Match 3 but I didn't enjoy it all that much. Hopefully if you decide to purchase, the process won't be as grueling as trying to submit a review!
It took me 4 attempts to submit this review! The review page literally deletes my review as I am writing it since the new format has arrived. Not fun, very annoying!!! Requested a fix days and days ago but I guess "Felix" is otherwise occupied!
A dog's sweet love is like no other! They are so special and this game has a bunch of them hiding about, along with the list items and morphing butterflies. Some items are quite small but don't despair, the handy magnifier will assist in your search. Everything is well hidden in every scene and gives you a good challenge. Thanks to the excellent graphics and bright, natural colors each location was really beautiful.
The mini games were enjoyable, especially Spot the Difference which hides 3 additional doggies. I liked the variety of jigsaws featuring images of our canine friends. The features and options are great and the devs' dogs are even included in this delightful game.
I really enjoyed the CE which was a super addition to my growing collection of animal HO games. I always opt for the CE for the bonus locations. Either version of this game is a great value, imo. If you love animals as much as I do, it's hard to pass up. And hurray for the great sale today!
The demo was busier with more than just tasks. It moved along at a good pace, revealing more of the story than usual. The theme isn't very exciting but might change later. I wasn't as quickly bored this time.
Crowley, the villain, sounds and looks so devious. A real scumbag at work! Seems like collecting loving hearts is his secret to never-ending wealth and good fortune. I think Beatrice and Franz will change all that but I don't predict a rousing adventure in this type of story.
Graphics not so sharp this time, kind of hazy and the colors were quite dark, making the scenes unappealing. I often felt in need of a flashlight. No lavish surroundings, rather plain scenes inside and out. Very few animated objects.
The same tasks were present including feeding an animal, clearing thorns, using an ear stud to fix something and digging in the dirt. I doubt anything can be done to make them less annoying. The tasks and solutions are all so ridiculous! Some logic would be appreciated.
I liked the puzzles and HOPs quite a bit. I especially enjoyed the wardrobe HOPs. More HO scenes this time but they were so dark that some items were hard to distinguish. The puzzles were more fun for me which is rare. There was a good variety of both. The Match 3 is the same with big clunky tiles, no challenge.
The collectibles same as always. The cards were easy to spot. But because of the very dark graphics I had trouble with the morphs and puppets, missing some of them. The characters were well done in features and attire. Voices pretty good and suited them well enough. Crowley's butler, Eve, could've used some improvements though.
I'm not too into love themes, much preferring action and adventure, so this would be a pass for me but many of you will probably love it. I'm hoping Domini will make at least some of those changes so many of us are waiting for. Their games are so predictable, boring and the cookie-cutter phrase is pretty worn out at this point.
The usual lineup for a paranormal story but the entertainment is still missing from this one. The storyline was another been there, done that with just a different title and new characters. Even the Paranormal Camera gimmick is a copy-cat from a familiar series.
I loved the graphics and colors. Not so much of Domini's favorite palette this time. Despite the characters moving as if made of wood they looked and sounded great, except for Lily's voice. The scenes were kind of dark, not too busy, music was well suited to the story. No glitches in demo.
I was bogged down with the usual nonsensical tasks that use up so much valuable demo time. For once I would like to get more than my foot through the door so I can see and do more than tasks everywhere I turn. They are always the same, just in a different order in each game and add no fun, at least for me.
Puzzles can be played in Easy or Hard Mode. I liked them much better than the HOPs and the amount of puzzles isn't overwhelming, so if I were to purchase the game I wouldn't have to do a lot of skipping. The HO scenes were less enjoyable, they were dark and too easy. The Match 3 is always the same with big, clunky tiles and no challenge.
Until Domini can come up with something that isn't merely a copy of one of their old games/use a little originality, I have no desire to purchase. A little creativity goes a long way but this dev likes kicking back in the rut of laziness. It's been years since a quality Domini game has graced our screens!
