I HATE JUMBLED WORDS, Missing Vowels, etc., so this is an automatic "no buy" for me. Some H/O games give us the OPTION to have STRAIGHT SPELLING words, which I really appreciate.
Too bad, as this looked good otherwise, even with the way-too-many hidden objects to find in the mini-games.
BUT, I know many of you don't mind the scrambled words, so you would enjoy this.
This is the same style as previous, where you repeat scenes several times to locate different items or in different ways.
I LOVE that you CAN CHANGE THE WORD MODE – I am terrible at jumbled words, etc, so allowing me to change to standard word is a definite “MUST” for me.
Beautiful crisp pictures, MOST objects clearly defined, with many well hidden still completely recognizable. BUT a few are pictured different than the normal way an object looks, or too obscure, which is annoying.
Only other negative for me in my quick check is the magnifying glass is too small, and disappears every time you click on something.
These take me longer to find objects than many others I've tried, but I mostly enjoyed taking the time and the challenges.
Even in the first couple of levels, you click on an item listed (i.e., "Bat", and it does NOT recognize it. INSTEAD, when you click "Hint", it shows DARK SHADOW of animal BAT. So many other almost impossible to find even with large magnifier that I just stopped playing - definitely NOT FUN!
this one has tiles that are less crisp than their other recent ones.
Although others may enjoy the stories, I'm one of those interested only in the game play. So it would be really nice to be able to "skip dialogue". Their "upgrades" don't make any sense as they just add more to the story, having nothing to do with "upgrades" specific to the scenes.
Also, I get really annoyed at these M3 games that force you to click 3-5 times just to exit out of the game. In all these, you have to click PLAY to THEN Click to MENU, to then click EXIT
.. with no imagination, smaller tiles, storyline that intrudes (for those of us that don't play Match 3 for a 'story' anyway).
I'm sure all of you here have played at least a couple of these, so you already know whether you will like them or not. Just such a shame that the developer shows no creativity in the actual game play here.
..when they have silhouettes, jumbled words, etc. to find objects. Many of us really dislike not having the option to choose "just words", which means automatic 'no buy' for us.
However, if you don't mind these variations, then it seems like a nice h/o game.
I was so excited to see a new Match 3 from this developer. Their graphics are outstanding, the game play really fun, sometimes challenging (which is good), and their scenes you earn additions to as you win each round are spectacular.
If you haven't tried their previous Match 3 games before, you are in for a real treat. All are an instant buy for me.
The previous ones in this series had too many very faded objects in the background that were way too hard for me to see at all, so I gave up on them after trying to find even 80% of the objects in 1 or 2 scenes after more than 10 minutes each.
THIS one had a lot clearer objects, even though some hidden well, so I enjoyed it.
1) the 2nd scene had SCRAMBLED LETTERS, which I hate because I'm awful at this and there was no option to have lists unscrambled;
2) I actually liked the 'find the difference' except you need to find 25 differences in a small screen area, so I gave up at 22.
The graphics for the h/o scenes very nice and fun to find the items, but 1) above is a automatic 'no buy' for me. I would have bought otherwise even though it is a very simplified h/o (no links to other scenes, no finding consistent items each level (at least so far), and the magnifying glass small and not great, but I really liked the crisp, attractive scenes.
So, if you are one of those who like, or don't mind, the jumbled letters h/o, then you might enjoy this.
There are so many of these out, most very similar. But the Developer actually made this one nicely enhancing the graphics and story line (one of first I found interesting). Even the game board play upgraded enough with nice, large, clean tiles.
Only possible glitch in my first level only quick play was that several of the tiles that SHOULD have matched, did NOT match - but those same type of matches DID match in most others.
But there have been so few even remotely decent NEW Match 3s that I appreciated this Seller actually making an effort to upgrade this type.
