Your daughter is missing and has left clues along the way to help you find out what may have happened to her.
This game premiered in 2013, so there is no map and the hints and skips take a while. It's also relatively short and my items would often be invisible and then pop up again later. Otherwise, I enjoyed the game. The music and graphics were lovely and I enjoyed the mini-puzzles, especially the bomb games at the very end. The hidden object scenes were also very challenging.
I very much enjoyed this game. Jack was chilling at an amusement park when suddenly his ride led him to being the Chief of an ancient tribe! Build villages and save the locals from some nasty torch-wielding cavemen.
Some people were claiming this wasn't enough of a challenge because you can do it untimed, but to me that was the best part. I enjoy the game play of time management games but hate the stress of having to beat the clock. If you want a challenge, you can beat the clock to win a gold star. There were also trophies to be won.
This was a basic match-3 game that involved food that goes into the mouth of hungry customers. You can play in timed classic mode or endless. There are some memory games you can play along the way to earn trophies, but I had some technical issues with them, myself.
This game is a good 15 years old, so it didn't hold my interest long...but it's nice for a simple game of match-3, particularly for younger children.
I've played this game several times since it came out in 2007...unfortunately, I don't think I've ever been able to complete it.
A young grad student discovered ancient Aztec artifacts in a museum and goes off to discover more. This was a fun match-3 game with power-ups you could purchase along the way. Alas, there is also a timer and eventually that sucked all the fun out of it...but I still enjoy trying.
I'm such a big fan of the Ravenhearst series that I decided to start from the beginning of MCF...and was sorely disappointed.
Keep in mind, this game came out in 2005. You have a very limited amount of time to find items in a very hard to see pile of junk and the worst part? Only 3 hints per case with no way of getting any more.
It's too bad I couldn't make it through to the end, I really liked the idea of solving cases and the puzzles at the end were fun. This might be a good game for those who really want a challenge...but my my old peepers just couldn't take it.
I was so excited to play this given the excellent reviews...but then I played it and was sorely disappointed.
Even by 2011 standards, this game wasn't too great. The atmosphere wasn't so much creepy as it was dingy and depressing. The hidden object scenes gave me eye strain and even though you can skip the puzzles, I didn't even realize it until almost the end (it's the little heartbeat deal in the upper left corner).
I did think the story line was really compelling, which was about the only thing that kept me dragging myself through this game. I also liked playing solitaire on the computer and some of the puzzles were fun.
The Sacra Terra Series premiered in 2011 and 2013...but to this day I fervently believe they're some of the best hidden object games I've ever played! I really wish they had continued.
This game was about a rather attractive succubus stealing your boyfriend because he read a chant he shouldn't have and you have to go to Sacra Terra island to save him. The cut scenes of these games are as good as any movie. You'll have to go through several portals of the underworld to help out some couples that are stuck in their own personal nightmares in order to save your sweetie!
The game is fairly easy even playing on expert mode. There were lots of fun, mostly simple puzzles and you collect "beyond objects" along the way. If you missed any, the map will let you know.
I've played this game a half dozen times and will probably continue to play it in future. Enjoy the wild ride!
First of all, this is an older ND game and unless you're a brainiac, you will ABSOLUTELY need to follow the Big Fish walk-through.
Nancy is undercover at an exclusive all-girls academy and she will have to uncover who is threatening the other girls with notes and accidents. There are many surprises along the way, as well as fun games. I really enjoyed playing scram (a dart game), the puzzle map of the U.S. and making snacks for everyone. I also enjoyed the increasingly falling snow. My only beef is how tough these games are. For the first half you can pretty much get along on your own, but during the 2nd half you will need help or you won't finish.
I'm very baffled by the bad reviews. I've played all the DP games and I thought this one was wonderful!
Goldilocks has the ability to turn anything she touches to gold and her robot sister used her to turn the entire town! Now you have to save the town and put the rightful queen on the throne.
The game was pretty long and the puzzles challenging. In the CE there's a bonus story involving Jack and his "golden" girlfriend. There were also trophies to be earned and snowflakes as well as parables to be collected. If you miss any, you can go back and collect them at the end.
I've played nearly all the Nancy Drew games and this is one of my personal favorites. You get to play not only Nancy but Bess, George and Ned!
Nancy is thrown in jail for a crime she didn't commit (and was nearly killed), so she needs some help from her besties and her sweetie to figure out who the culprit is.
The newer Nancy Drew games do have helpful hints, but you'll still need to go onto the Big Fish forums for additional help. This game was fun and challenging and it will keep you guessing as to the identity of the true criminal. If you enjoy playing detective, you'll love this one!
