In this 4th installment of the 7 Wonders game, we're building legendary mythical places, like Valhalla, Atlantis and El Dorado.
This game was so addictive! You could play untimed in Zen mode, but I don't recommend it. Playing in normal mode gives you plenty of time, plus you'll be given the additional 2 puzzles that allow you to add gold and statues to your builds.
I wasn't expecting much out of a 10 year old game...but thankfully, it delivered!
A young exorcist has to save his old mentor by finding seven seals to shut away a demon. There was lots of fun puzzles, hidden object scenes and the world was quite large. There is no teleporting map since this is an older game, but it still has skips and hints and differing levels of difficulty. I really enjoyed it!
Professor Ashmore, the same man who so kindly took you in and raised you as his own has been murdered. It’s up to you to find out why, but are you prepared for what truths may be uncovered?
The Professor that loved and raised you is murdered and you must go back home and find the culprit!
I was a bit surprised by this game. Given that it came out in 2014, I wasn't expecting a whole lot, but this game was loaded with goodies. It had morphing hidden object scenes, collectibles in every room and a bonus chapter in which you're in a coma and reliving your worst fears. It also has a map you can teleport with and skips and hints. Good stuff!
This game was tougher than the first, but no worries because you can play in UNTIMED MODE!!!
This game is much the same as the first...and I LOVED the first one! You help 4 fairies bring the 4 elements (earth, fire, wind and water) back into the world by moving the elemental liquid through jewels, ice, pipes, blocks and more. There's also a few hidden objects scenes thrown in. This game is satisfying and addictive and you'll want to save it to play again later.
I remember loving this game when it came out back in 2011 and I still enjoy playing it!
A doctor is summoned to a hotel where unfortunately all the guests are dropping like flies and a sad mystery slowly unfolds. Because this is an older game, there's no interactive map or customizable settings, but there are endless hints and skips for the mini-games and a map to check where you need to go next.
I was happy to find this little gem around holiday time. Who knew Redemption Cemetery did Christmas games?
The synopsis is that a woman was scorned by one of your ancestors and she's trying to wipe out your family's entire existence! I love the holiday theme meets spooky graveyard vibe, along with the Native American lore that was intertwined. The puzzles were plentiful and lots of fun, too. The map was a little iffy, so I just navigated manually.
Okay...this game won't win any awards, but in my opinion the reviews made it out to be a lot worse than it actually was. Try and demo it, at least.
It's just a typical bubble shooter game with several customizable (lovely) bubbles, a Christmas background and falling snow to make it feel festive. People were complaining mostly about being unable to control it but I had no problems with that at all. If you go to options and turn off the sensitivity gun, you should have no problems either. In classic mode, which was my favorite, you're gradually given helpers as you level up like aimers and bombs. Eventually it became too difficult and my board froze and the game ended, but I was really having fun up to that point.
Mother Goose has been kidnapped by Old King Cole and it's up to you and your nursery rhyme friends (Humpty Dumpty, Three blind mice, Jack and Jill, Little Boy Blue, etc.) to find her and save Christmas!
I really enjoyed this game. It's the 2nd installment in the Christmas Spirit series and in my opinion a great improvement over the last (Oz was a bit dark for my taste). The puzzles were fun and challenging and the Christmas graphics were gorgeous! My favorite game was the cake baking, which I've never seen in a Hidden Object game before.
I'm confused as to why this game was reviewed so badly...I absolutely loved it!
It's a match-3 game where you match pretty items to release enough gold bars which slowly open presents. There are 9 presents in all, each very beautiful, and now and again you learn fun facts about gift giving. You also earn trophies. You can play timed or untimed plus they have an additional puzzle game. I played timed adventure all the way to the end and had no issues. You will accumulate 8 different items to help you through (hammers, bombs, dynamite, etc.) and by the end of the game I still had tons of helper items left over. I especially loved the hissing sound when you melted the ice!
As much as I love my Christmas Stories, it's good to have other options out there. The Wicked Witch is back and she's stolen all of the christmas presents in Oz!
To me it makes sense to try a Wizard of Oz holiday theme given that they televise that movie every year at Christmas time. This one was pretty lengthy and loaded with puzzles, which you could play on "hard" or "easy" or just skip them entirely. The HO puzzles were fun, as well.
I could only give it four stars, unfortunately, because the story seemed to meander a bit and the acting was a bit off balance. Otherwise, it was a fun game that will get you in a Christmas mood!
