Great game. Well done. The DEVS apply historical research for more emersive entertainment. "Believable" story, great music, good art. Puzzles are challenging without being too hard and HOGs are as good as they get!
Making a scene change shape and time period via lighting is VERY cool. Just made the game even more enjoyable. Some of the best mood setting music I've heard in a game. Quite appropriate.
After what Peter has gone through and as scared as he acts in the final scene, I think a well placed wet spot would have been hilarious, haha. Anyway, I look forward to more titles in this series!
Having played games by this DEV before I expected a good adventure. The plot, graphics and creepy little puppets got me excited. Soon enough, the gameplay diminished that excitement. It's basically just too easy.
Most of the puzzles are hardly challenging. Many of the needed puzzle pieces are too conveniently located VERY close to the puzzle. Why hide them at all??? A mechanical squirrel needs a nut. Oh, look, there's a nut right below his hole in the tree! How conveeeenient.....
Anyway, the game plays well enough to enjoy if you are novice or don't like tough challenges. The HOGs seem on par with most other games. I've played enough games to expect/hope for a challenge and I just didn't fine it here.... NEXT!
Cute and adorable on the surface, strategically deep under the hood. The graphics are clean and colorful and the sounds in the garden charming. I turned off the music after awhile as it became repetitive.
I've completed the first 2 difficulty levels with 3 stars and can tell you this game requires thoughtful planning. Not too hard to get through a level.... but to get 3 stars??? Several times I've watched a Boss drop in the strawberry patch before he starts eating. Or other bugs burn to a crisp as they reach a strawberry bush after passing by a hot pepper! Whew, whatta relief.
Great job by the Devs. They put a lot of thought into this and the small nuances show it. It really is a perfectly balanced game. You just have to learn how to get all of your plants to work together :)
Ok, I'm off to conquer the General level. Gunna bring my favorite commanders, Mr. Cactus, Sundew and the oh so sweeeeet Hot Pepper. Love em!!!
It's very addictive. One of the funnest simple games I've played. It's frantic, hilarious and strategic. If you want a fast paced challenge, don't pass it by.
The sights and sounds are wonderful. The noises of the soldiers funny. The level designs brilliant. Seriously, these DEVs created a masterpiece of fun.
AND lots of replay value. 45 maps total! Not only are there 3 levels of difficulty to try your strategic wit, but you can replay a level any way you choose for a different outcome and challenge. I can't get enough of it and I hope they make another one!!!! PLEASE
Oh, did I mention you'll develop an addiction for this game???
When I first started the game I was wondering how long it would keep my attention... that soon faded. The puzzles quickly caught my interest and the variety drew me in. It's a simple to play game that doesn't take itself too seriously. It just provides serious fun.
It's a PG game for anyone. The puzzles are straight forward but take some thought. The fish and the key is hilarious! The graphics are simple but enjoyable. The music and sound good enough.
Where I thought this game had subtle genious was in the taskmasters. The way they "push around" the heroine telling her what to do becomes funny if you think about it. The butler tries to act tough, yehh right. The witch makes her jump through hoops then... she trickses her! Her son politely has her cater to his needs while he relaxes with a big grin, haha.
Good game for those looking for something light and enjoyable. Even hard core gamers like myself will enjoy the puzzles.... Check it out.
I'm not Clownin', this is good! The graphics, artwork and colors are clear and vivid. Very nice! The sound/music are perfect for the setting. Most puzzles aren't too hard and they never got boring. You'll go back to the same HOS many times#3-4# which I thought was cool. As I study the scenes I get to know the objects so each time back gets easier which is a good change of pace. Not that I'm trying to hurry through the game.
It's a long game. And just when you think you're near the end... it gets weird, haha. The parallel dimension theme park was very clever. I enjoyed the game all the way through. I was hoping for a cut scene at the end of how all the "little" people became dolls. But ya know.... I don't blame Clown Boy for going off the way he did. People can just be rude and disrespectful of a guys livelihood. I'd like to see them try to ride a unicycle on the highwire while juggling, cmon!

Delightful game. Challenging when you want one or easy to use the hints.... either way it delivers endless enjoyment. The puzzles are fun and meaningful. The artwork is perfect for the enchanted, goblin, fairy setting. The story and dialogue kept me intersted.
We really need to acknowledge quality work and support the developers. This IS their job and livelihood. And most are quite good at it. They provide us endless entertainment and release. I've thoroughly enjoyed the Awakening series. I appreciate their creativity, thoughtful design, and the consistent quality of their work.

Wow, what a well executed game. Full of style and beauty. The story is well played out with a good ending. Enjoyed it from beginning to end. The dev team put much time and thought into this. It's well worth supporting their efforts.
The graphics are excellent and set the tone perfectly. Everything about the world is believable. The puzzles and achievements have many layers. You can continually find items that add to bonuses, ie faster hint renewal, complete a set to unlock a background story (6 sets in all I believe). The HOS are unique in that you're shown the items to find instead of words. Very cool!
There is a mini-map that shows areas of interest and objectives to be completed. Very helpful considering the amount of detail of each area that makes the game world seem bigger and more diverse. The artwork is top-notch. The music and sounds blend with the atmosphere seemlessly.
Snow Queen is a game of quality AND quantity. It isn't short. Yet it isn't so long that it becomes tedious. Not at all. I'd play awhile, leave, then come back for more. Overall, it's an enjoyable experience worth investing time & $$$ for :)
I enjoyed the mix of styles for finding objects and solving puzzles. Moving around the same room for most puzzles was a creative change of pace from going back and forth around the entire game. Those solutions are here also as well they should be. Knowing that the objectives for a puzzle were within the same room/building made me keep looking in that area. I enjoyed the multiple HOS as they were straight forward, not too difficult, and I received several needed objects as opposed to the typical 1 item. Nice!
The graphics were quite impressive. Beautiful, colorful, and great detail. I love history and the past and they did an amazing job of making the scenes look authentic. The sound was very good, music was appropriate and relaxing. The storyline appeared to vaguely follow what may have truly went down in those dark and treacherous times. It's good to be King???
