The graphics are very good and detailed. The music is conventional cinematic, not bad. Customizations are complete. Most of the puzzles are solvable for the average person, but one is tedious and the other is based on the old mine field game which I find aggravating.
There are 3 easter eggs to find- shields, souvenirs, and fact disks. What you find will show up in the Extras section. You can play all hidden object games and puzzles there once you finish the game. The fact disks are informative on background info.
It's an intriguing and informative game.
I recommend this game!

The game has colorful, complete graphics that are kind of fuzzy. The Music is bohemian ethereal, nice and relaxing, it fits the game pretty much.
Sometimes the cursor morphs to a hand when you are on an object needed and to a application gear when an item can be used, but not always. Some interactive scenes are tricky, not obvious, not much on clues.
There are 3 easter eggs to find, a morphing object, a collectors item and manuscripts. You can refer to a map to help you when objects are undiscovered or where a task can be performed next.
Game object finding, application and puzzle solving can be difficult but not really hard when you apply abstract thinking. I got stuck on one and had to resort to the strategy guide to my regret as I should have tried harder. One puzzle was a clone of the minefield game which I never figured out, skipped it.
But if you get stuck the strategy guide is very good and the chicken hint option. There were several objects that were hard to find as they were in unexpected places so search carefully in every nook and corner.
Once you finish the main and bonus games there is a bonus puzzle game in extras that becomes available with 20 extra puzzles. You can also replay the game puzzles except for the one bridge game that confounded me.
The game has a complete set of options when setting up various features of the game like other games of this type.
I recommend this game!

A very colorful and detailed game. Music is appropriate for the era but orchestra boring. Game is complicated with challenging levels.
The game is unusual from other TMGs. You have to earn gold stars to purchase bonuses of running, work and resources. So I recommend you start out in untimed mode till you get all 3 basic bonuses. Then you can go back to earn green stars to buy additional bonuses of speed, work, and resource related. You get these stars by beating the developer time period when you are in timed mode. Each bonus allows you to more easily earn the green stars which show up on the map markers as you replay those levels where you failed to acquire them.
It has a guide but it's very basic. The tutorial is embedded in the game play but can be turned off in the options menu.
You have 1 easter egg in each of the levels to find for bragging rights. The progress indicator at map level will show how many of the eggs you have found, and once found you don't need to refind on the replay. On the map a little green dot will appear on the marker if you found the egg. If you get frustrated on finding the egg the guide will show you where it is hidden.
I was able to complete all levels in Timed mode to green star achievement level with all bonuses activated. I also won all the golden cup awards after that.
The good thing about this game it will teach kids how to develop analytical skills. But it's entertaining to some degree. What would really be desired is a game that reflects on real world scenarios instead of fantasy worlds.
I recommend this game!

As in the previous versions, it's a very colorful and detailed game. Music is appropriate for the era. You have variation on the traps and resources like in the previous games.
You have the same characters as in the previous version with their various bonus abilities of speed, resource replenish, building speed, etc. But in this game version you earn money to buy more time for the various bonus abilities with side gold earning levels. You also, on the easter eggs, have 3x the 'items' to find. Once found you don't have to refind on a replay. On completion of the main levels you have 11 bonus levels.
The guide is sketchy but good for locating hidden items it you tired of the searching.
You have 3 very hard levels to complete in the timed mode. I finished all levels, some with effort of trial, error and using the guide. So I won all awards. Enjoyable, challenging game.
I recommend this game!

This is a takeoff of famous fairytales like Wizard of Oz, Pinocchio, Gulliver, etc. The graphics are quite good but finding stuff can be a challenge as it's not so easy, they clebberly conceal things. And the hops have embedded puzzles. Most of the puzzles are readily solvable except the last one. The guide and the map was OK.
There are 2 easter eggs to find- statues and morphing objects. It was hard finding some of them. There is a bonus plus game that is an endless series of puzzles with no prize on the outcome when you find all the easter eggs.
The game play can be quite abstract as is the storyline. The bonus game was ambiguous in the ending with what seemed a good and bad ending.
I recommend this game!

It's fun, good balance of colorful graphics at the cartoon level, and challenging. You can play casual or timed all the way to the bonus levels. I completed all levels in timed mode although some were very close at the 3 star limit.
The scenarios are different from other TMGs. You work with 2 to 4 characters. You can chose which characters to use per level and in what order of their appearance. Each Character has a unique bonus advantage to use. As you advance in the game you get more bonus points to add to each characters bonus time.
After the time bar disappeared behind the star you can figure a 1 or 1.5 minuets left. There are no easter eggs in this game.
I recommend this game!

Robin Hood - Winds of Freedom Collectors Edition"
Good colorful graphics make this an enjoyable game. Mood music is medieval type, not remarkable. You can play untimed or timed. There are 1 easter egg in each level.
With each completion of a level your characters get bonus enhancement points to help with the more difficult levels.
Playing in timed mode is a real challenge, even in normal timed mode. I almost gave up on 3 levels and you can't always follow the guides for a solution. I even needed some outside help on 3 of them.
There are no awards section, just the bragging rights.
I recommend this game!

Detectives United - Phantoms of the Past Collectors Edition"
Graphics are very good. Music is OK. All the puzzles I could solve without skipping, the more difficult ones just take more effort and patience.
There are 2 easter eggs, one is morphing hats and the other is a puzzle piece. If you missed any you can find them in the extras section after playing the bonus level.
The game is intriguing and you will be shifting between the 3 characters.
I recommend this game!

Music is bearable. You have 3 difficulty levels with 1 being casual. The graphics are like Impressionism, mid level, which make objects hard to find.
You start out in the ransacked home. You can chose a gender. You have to find the pieces of objects in the scene and complete the objects. You will find that in order to find the pieces of some objects you will have to complete others to uncover the other pieces. And some of the objects are so well blended in the scene of muddled graphics that they are next to impossible to find. Fortunately you have a hint button that will show you where any of the pieces are.
Once you complete all the objects a map opens up as a puzzle. You have to put the puzzle pieces together in order to complete the picture. After you complete the map the home scene returns and you must find the pieces to another set of objects. You then go back to the map and fight your first battle with an opponent.
You press start and you are introduced to your first opponent. You press the fight button and you are presented to a scene with various objects or ingredients for spells to fight your opponent. Finding the ingredients is a real chore as they are not very well defined or sharp against the background, and therefore not obvious to the identity on the list of 3 spells. Some are well blended in the background, some hidden behind others. When you complete 1 spell it will be replaced by another. As you progress though the game you will get more spells and more ingredients to find.
Meanwhile your opponent will periodically attack you and you suffer in health points. If you die you have the option of being resurrected and the fight occurs all over at the beginning. Some objects will partially conceal others and some objects won't appear until one spell is completed. So work on all 3 spells to reduce the clutter.
Once you win the fight you will be presented with a scene puzzle to complete. These puzzles are not too hard to complete and the pieces are all properly oriented. Once completed you are taken back to the map and the place icon appears on the map, but in-between it and you is another fight to go through. When you win that fight you are taken to the last puzzle scene on another object completion and use in the scene. The final object is a book of spells that gives you more spells to use.
So after filling in all the objects you are taken to another fight. After this fight you are presented with a puzzle box. There are various puzzles including a 3 match arcade, flip the blocks to find a twin match, and complete a cryptogram, which I never could fathom, and there was no help on that. After about a minuet or so you can skip the puzzle.
Once you complete the puzzle box you get another map location scene, and another fight, object find, etc. And so it goes- fight, object find, puzzle, puzzle scene, fight....
The best feature of this game was the wizard fight battles. The rest was kind of ho-hum or tedious or frustrating.
I don't recommend this game.

The game is like an indie type with the heroine being a female. Graphics are good. You have a lot of customizations, a jump map and a hint option as well as a skip puzzle option. Mood music is OK for the game.
Most puzzles are solvable, some with effort, some are very difficult, some just screw around with. You can either skip or resort to the guide on those. The finding of some application objects is sometimes difficult and you will find yourself resorting to the jump map on where to go next. But 3-times I got left wondering what to do next as there was no good clues on the jump map.
This hidden object puzzles, or Hops as they are called, are not difficult except for a few items and many have hidden puzzles within them. They have 2 modes, pairing a list of objects with their mates and find a list of object in the scene. Some may require a lot of scrutinizing.
No easter eggs except for finding info parchments for bragging rights.
A very challenging and intriguing game.
I recommend this game!
