A lot of fantastical, beautiful scenes in this game.
HOP heavy and lots of puzzles of varied difficulties. Child friendly, and not scary.
This game was a deeply relaxing game. There is nothing manic about it. The characters, when they appear are pop up, like in a comic.
The labor of love here was for the amazing scenery you get.
I loved every second of this game and was thus motivated to write this review. It has a certain amount of simplicity that reminded me of being a child lost inside a story book, where you never really want it to end.
Based on demo. This game has exactly the kind of weird and wonderful atmosphere I love!
Dungeon-type caves, skeletons, and treasures! Get past the first 10 minutes, and there’s even a dose of unexpected hilarity sprinkled in. The HD graphics are awesome and the musical sound effects definitely add to the story.
Characters are just ok, and are only there to prop up the story. I fast-forwarded the dialogue by clicking on it and speed-reading to avoid spending too long on them.
Ok, so I’m breaking protocol and writing a review before I’m barely into it. But I have to say, this is the first game I’ve played in a gazillion years, that has my attention! Whoa! It’s a buy! *1600 x 900 resolution possibility, if your computer handles it. *Ultra cool graphics and sound effects. *Music-top notch for thriller mode!

A very badly put together game. The graphics are blurry. There's no scare. There's no thrill. There's no motivation to play such a low quality game. The relationship of the couple is inexplicable. The HOPS are beyond hope.
More like a whodunit, kept me intrigued & loved the vibe!

Review based on completed game. Engaging story, lovely graphics, well done characters! If you choose “NO helpful messages,’ then you really won’t get any! Great background atmospheric music, reminiscent of the Harry Potter movie “Chamber of Secrets.” Spacious and grand. Characters present but not in your face. Dark themed but not overly ‘evil.” More of a PG? Lots of opportunities for “watery” effect scenes, which I loved. Water, fires, breezes…even crickets. It’s very well done atmospherically. I like the fact that the instructions don’t automatically pop up for the puzzles, but you select the “?”. The puzzles were interesting, and difficult. I liked the challenge.
(Note- the Collector’s Edition has a Bonus Game equal in quality to the main game.)

...JUST to remind you, you're playing a game... Even with the inventory bar unlocked, there's this huge, big, bright-green padlock floating in the air. The graphics are sub-standard, everything is slightly blurred AND when you click on something you get RAPIDLY swooshed in and out. There isn't even a slight chance I could lose myself in this game. Very disappointing. In games of old (2009-2012) the inventory bars were often non-obstructive and didn't impinge on the player's experience. Now, as in this game,we have gigantic, columns of information towering in front of us and only a SMALLwindow of gaming area. It's a bit like wearing GOGGLES. Why is this the new trend?

..then you have the supernatural trying to get you and you have a gripping and relaxing story at the same time. Elephant Games delivers superb graphics, story and sound. The Bonus Game is a bit scarier than the main game.
I love all the nature scenes in the moonlight, so peaceful. Oh, so sad it had to end.
Find: (1) Morphing objects, (2) “eye” signs blended into the environment & (3) some collectable statues.

Dark and spooky with nothing comedic. Not bloody or gory, but the images are weird, bizarre and...this is not a game for anyone below the ages of 10 minimum!
Very, very atmospheric, with surprises here and there to make you scare.
I wish ALL games, whether they're beautiful games or dark games, had this level of detail!!! (I just can't play games, when they're slapped together with an afterthought for accuracy in the environment, because I can't lose myself in them when they're done like that. This game is the opposite of that.)
If you do decide to buy the Collector's Edition, the Bonus Game is seriously equally enjoyable!

Do you want a game with beautiful perspectives? This ISN'T it! You can tell immediately that the scenes are just made-up from imagination. Nothing flows accurately and so it has a very "copied and pasted" feel to it. It doesn't touch my soul in any way, either with beauty and serenity or in a dark mysterious way. A very ordinary, blah game.

If you choose “NO helpful messages,’ then you really won’t get any! Loved all the rooms in the huge manor, partially lighted and partially shaded. Lots of opportunities for “watery” effect scenes, which I loved. Water, fires, breezes…even crickets. It’s very well done atmospherically. A few of the scenes in the latter 1/4 of the game are a little less detailed, but I found it acceptable, because so many other rooms had great ambience.
I like the fact that the instructions don’t automatically pop up for the puzzles, but you select the “?” if you want them. The puzzles were very interesting, but hard- so all you puzzle enthusiasts will be pleased. I liked the challenge. Bonus game equally enjoyable!
