I thoroughly enjoyed this game. The graphics were okay, not the best but that is okay. Gameplay was great. Some of the puzzles were a bit challenging. The HOS were so, so, so much fun. They were like a HOS inside a HOS inside a HOS. Great fun. The storyline was good. I see people complaining about no pirates, that was okay for me. It was more of a "who did it" mystery type of game which is fun to me. I definitely recommend this game and the CE version. The CE version is well worth getting. Lots of extras.
I liked this game. It was very colorful and the music was lovely. The gameplay was nice, lots of puzzles and different kinds of HOS that were fun and different. The game lasted long enough, as did the bonus game. Only thing is I didn't know what was going on when I first began the game, like there was no story so I am guessing you need to play the previous games. I did get what was going on within 10 minutes or so. I liked it I hope you do too! CE is worth getting btw as the bonus game lasted 30+ minutes and lots of HO to find.
I loved this game, played it twice so far. Once on IPad and just now on laptop. It's dark and mysterious. Very worth playing. Just enough HOS, some a tad difficult and a few puzzles. The map isn't interactive which I generally do not like, but you tend to remember what to do where. The hint button on normal, I found charged a bit too slow for my tastes but still it was okay.
The only complaint is you don't really reach a conclusion unless you get the CE and play the bonus game, which is sad on its own. They shouldn't have done that. No real bonuses to the CE other than that. I still loved the game though.
The game was good. I loved the baby golem he was so cute. The storyline was great but sad. Puzzles and HOS were fantastic and the bonus game was great and took about 30-45 minutes to finish. Worth getting imo, just wish it lasted an extra hour or two. Probably finished main game and bonus game in 3-4 hours. Enjoy. :)
I liked this game. It was not a long game. Finished in under 3 hours, but was worth it. The puzzles and HOS were fun. Graphics were decent as was the storyline. I just wish the ending didn't make me ask a few questions. Worth getting the SE version on sale or for free imo.
Great game, very fun and dark. Not scary imo, but others may find it creepy. The characters are fantastic, gameplay in general was fab. The puzzles and HOS were good and not too difficult. I wish they'd make more to continue this game series but I don't think they will as it's been 6 years since this came out. Definitely worth getting.
The only thing I enjoyed about this game was the story and the music.

So let's start off by saying this game had great potential to be so much better than it ended up being. The way they did a lot of the graphics, it seemed was put a bunch of silly pictures in a hat and draw out 50 different ones to jumble them into a scene. Way, way, too cluttered. Felt like walking into a hoarders house at times. Everything you clicked on also came with commentary. Whether you clicked on the ground, a leaf, a tree, the sky, had to have something said, in written form. After about 20-30 minutes of this garbage I stopped reading everything since it made the game even more confusing as if I were meant to do something with the leaf I just clicked on or the tree. They shouldn't have done that, just made it worse imo. The graphics were meh. Some of the characters looked like they were from some japanese anime which I dislike. I felt like I was playing Alice In Wonderland, the movie. Scenes were distorted like the movie, especially towards the ending and to be honest makes the game lack any originality.
As far as puzzles and HOS there were way, way, way too many puzzles for my liking. It seemed every 2 minutes was a bloody puzzle just so they could make the game last longer, no joke. And most of the puzzles weren't even fun, just flat out obnoxious. If you skipped them you were given a penalty by not being allowed to use the hint button for several minutes, which I found I really didn't need so much. The HOS were atrocious, the type of ones I particularly dislike a lot. And in the main game there must have been around 7 HOS and 50 puzzles scenes. The bonus game seemed to have more HOS in it than the main game.
The story was "okay" but not like glue your face to the screen I want to know what happens next, type of story. The music was decent.
I would have given it a 1 or a 0 (if possible) but I think some folks would enjoy all the puzzles and nonsense and despite so many things about the game that irritated me, perhaps because I am not feeling well today, it wasn't a horrendous game, just a game I wish I didn't waste money on, even if I got it for free.
***Possible Spoiler*** There isn't really any bonuses in the CE version that I would recommend spending more money on, unless you want a short bonus game about 30 minutes long of some fat dude who eats children.
The only thing I enjoyed about this game was the story and the music.

I loved the story of this game. I love, love, sci-fi stuff and this is a game different than all the others about fairies, magicians and disney looking stuff. No pink and rainbow colors all over the place, it is darkish for this type of theme and nicely done. The storyline is great, gameplay is fun and not too challenging. The game is long. I can not stress enough to get the SE version of this instead, as there's only morphing objects, which some are difficult to find and a bonus chapter about Indians which really does not pertain to the story at all. Roughly took about 45 mins to complete the bonus chapter, but still, I would've skipped the CE version if I knew this is all you get from the CE version. I love HOS where you have to place the object somewhere rather than trying to find objects, and they had those types of HOS as well. Great game!
Decent little game to pass time get the SE version though

I did enjoy this game but it didn't have that punch that made me delve into the game wanting to see what happens next. There were a lot of HOS and puzzles and I did enjoy the different HOS which were more fun than the typical find all these items in a pile of a million little items. Graphics were decent and the storyline was okay. Nothing special stuck out in this game but I wouldn't say it isn't worth playing. Not sure if the CE version is worth getting as there aren't any extras after you finish except for a bonus game that is done in 40 minutes or less. No extra puzzles or anything, that I could see, once you finish the bonus game and/or collect all objects. Lots of morphing objects like butterflies "moths" to find, which some of the butterflies were hard to see, and different flowers. I'd just get the SE version as the bonus chapter really doesn't add more content to the storyline that is needed to know.
