I always like something different particularly when it comes to match 3. At first I was put off by the low quality of graphics and once I got the general idea of what to do, you need to match 3 monsters horizontally , it is really an interesting game. There is room for improvement which is why I have only given 4 stars. I would prefer the chance to make bigger matches and also feel it would be better if you could match vertical as well. 60 levels is not much for a match 3 and would prefer more. There is no timer so you get the time to think where you make your move. It will not suit all but it is so different from the norm that I just had to buy. Enjoy

I have always enjoyed this series however when the CE came out I was not happy. The game itself was very good and I so wanted to buy but I waited and you still get most of the extras with this SE version plus no annoying blue arrows, The hidden items for the puzzles are still there so look for the question mark then click around that area until you find the piece. If you are not on relaxed then play the level first then go back for the puzzle piece as you can play the level again and just get the puzzle piece. Saves valuable seconds doing it this way. In my opinion this game is better than the CE as it is half the price with most of the features and does not have the world's worse excuse for a strategy guide. Try the demo, see what you think,I am just loving that I can now play this game without paying double for little more. The only downside I have with this game is I could do without the green rings showing you where you can move but that is with all these games and you can still click the wrong one as several are offered. I like the respawn feature. Enjoy

In my mind Mahjong is a game for thinking and you need to make sure you are removing the right tiles in order to clear the board. This you cannot do if you are up against the clock. Compare it with chess, you need to take your time as one wrong move and its game over. There should be a relaxed level. One thing that is improved on the last game is the removal of the constant hints that you got all the time in the last one. I like to have time to think and other Mahjong games without a timer are far better for me, having said that this could be quite good just needs a little more thought put in to it. We are not all Speedy Gonzales

Unbelievably this is the first time I have played this series and although fairly good instructions I was confused and did not realise when the time ran out by pushing continue you can carry on the same level. I thought as in a lot of other games that continue meant to go on to the next level. Maybe its an age thing but I struggled with that.. I now understand that you can continue if you fail to beat the timer but I find this timer very unrealistic and extremely short to get 3 stars. I feel this sort of game needs an untimed level at least where you can play at your own level without messing about running out of time and having to press continue. This game is not for me but it could have been if only for an untimed level

Having played the Ce version of this game I myself would opt for that as I think it is well worthy of the extra especially when there is a sale on. What ever version you choose if you are a TM fan you will not be disappointed. Feel free to check out the reviews for the CE and then make your own decision. I am fortunate enough to have played this whole game so am able to give my honest opinion on this game in its entirety rather than just the demo. Many games either start good and fizzle out or start badly giving a wrong opinion of the game, so this is my feelings on the whole game. This time the brothers and sisters are united Everand and Boromere and Helga and Brunnhilde come together and without giving too much away I think this is the best of the series and packed full of challenge. They all have their own powers and this time live in their own houses and need to be activated to save their kingdom . I have played all the levels and the challenge starts straight away and doesn't let up really. I as usual played first in relax and now I am playing again on a higher level. To get the most out of the demo I would advise playing in relaxed to start, then if you purchase choose your own level. This is very challenging even in relaxed and is in no way boring. There are 54 levels in this game. The reason for the odd amount is they have included sprinkled throughout the game, levels where you have to catch ingredients that fall from chutes and you need to catch them in a vase. This I was not a fan of but there is no way you can skip it and to me was really not needed. Having said that although it does lower the tone of the game slightly. it is packed full of challenges
I would say for the next game in this series to drop the ingredient catching levels, In my opinion they are so not needed. To sum up ,each level is different with the exception of the catch levels. If you are a TM fan then you will love this, even if not, give it a try with the demo as it does give a fair idea what the rest of the game is like

This Review based on whole game including extra levels
Game 8, some games when you get to the 8th game are not much difference so does this pull a punch? Of course it does. I now have all 8 games and each time there is a wow factor and you think it can't get any better. There are the usual attributes that make this game series what it is known for, all the regulars are there, ok Max the dog can get a bit annoying with his barking but the devs are forever looking at new angles and really put a lot into making these games. I don't want to give too much away but it is a challenge from the word go, a fairly easy level 1 then off we go. Each level there are different tasks and they progressively get harder. As regards the demo to get the most out of your hour's demo play on relaxed, that way you can get further in to the game to give you more of an idea, then if you purchase play on what ever level you like. I did this whole game on relaxed level in order to get a feel for it and it is a challenge on relaxed so now I am upping the anti. There is so much to do in this game that you will never get bored if you are a TM buff like myself. The odd level is a bit less tasking every now and then but I think that could be to let you destress a bit and give you a rest, bit of a calm before the storm if you like. Still good fun though. I did find however that the last level before the extra games could have been a bit more of a challenge, Don't get me wrong it is still a challenge but I felt could have been a bit more of a task to complete. So now on to is it worth paying the extra for a CE ? In my opinion yes and I am glad I did. There are 15 more challenging levels plus a very good strategy guide if you need to use it. I did not on relaxed but on the harder levels it is a good bonus if you wish to study the best ways to get 3 stars. There are Jigsaw pieces to find but not on every level but they are fairly easy to locate. These just make up the puzzle as you collect them which I would have preferred to get all the pieces then make the puzzle myself.. If you want a strategy guide and are happy with 15 more levels then the CE is worth it, the rest of the extras are not worth the extra, otherwise wait for the SE .Its such a compelling game no way could I wait for the SE but thats just me. What I did like about this is it gets fairly challenging in the demo time, a lot of games are not that good in the demo time so give a wrong opinion of the game, on the other hand, some games start with a challenge then cool off but for me this is a challenge all the way through and lives up to its reputation of being one of the top TM series produced, in my opinion. One last thing I will say is (This is the same in other games in this series) that it would be really handy Devs if you could number the levels on the map instead of having to hover over a marker to reveal what level it is. The levels are all over the place, so much easier to locate say level 15 if you could actually see where level 15 was. Apart from that I am very happy but please demo first, do not take my word for it.

No 8 and you may be thinking that they can't improve much more yet they always do and they listen to the reviews. Yes the mechanisms are very similar but the challenge is always there and the first few levels you think, been there done that but then your mind is going to have to start really thinking(Or mine does) There is new game play where the bug has to push the tiles into their slots which makes you think yet gives your mind a rest from the main game. Then the challenge really starts and you need to think. May pay to play in relaxed first while you work it out then go for it. on a harder level. To get the most out of the demo I always use relax anyway and skip all the mini games just to get further in the demo. For me there is no question of buying. I have all the previous and am a big fan. You think because the mechanisms are similar you would get bored with it but not me. You know when a game is good when the demo runs out on you and you can't beleive an hour has gone. I need to buy now and get back to the challenge. Enjoy,I know I will. @nd day running a great match 3 so the M3 fans will be happy

Been a long time since the last game and as Match 3 games go this is an excellent game. One thing that slightly put me off is that it started with a Hog which I am not a great fan of which you cannot skip but the match 3 element is excellent. Would have been much better to bring the hog in after a few levels in my opinion but then that's just me.The levels progressively get harder, timed or untimed so will keep most happy. Have only played to level 15 but bought it after only 15 mins into the demo.. Plenty of challenge here, I liked the music which matches the theme and the graphics are good . If you like match 3's then you will love this although not as challenging as some it will keep you amused with plenty of challenge. Try the demo and decide for yourself bearing in mind that there are 140 levels so don't expect all the excitement in the first few levels of the demo.It will get more challenging as you go. Enjoy
Despite hating the CE thought I would give it another try as sometimes SE's can be better but unfortunately no. Instead of Upgrading things you have to build another, looks like they don't believe in upgrades and the workers don't live together neither, social distancing maybe?. This is very old fashioned in my opinion and just too much going on because of the no upgrade policy. Maybe further on you can upgrade but no way am I going to invest to find that out. Shame that both TM's were SE's of Ce's , would have been good to at least have one new one but never mind.. This is very very standard and does not inspire me at all.. Of course please try the demo and it may suit some but its a no for me

Since I was very young (Couple of years ago lol) I was hooked on fairgrounds particularly the haunted house, Ghost train etc . I am slowly coming round to hopas and was attracted to this game. I have played only the demo and will be purchasing. For me it has the right amont of Hog scenes and puzzles which are not too taxing but fine for me. What I do like is that you can choose the length of time the hints etc take to reset. You get 90 mins and I had 11 mins left before the demo chapter ended. Just as long as you are aware you do not get a full 90 mins just until the first chapter ends, I am now itching to buy this so I can carry on but try the demo as what suits some may not suit others, we are all different
