I am trying to find something nice to say about this game but I am struggling. Same as all the previous in this series, same music, format etc. If you have one you do not need any more but to me the worse thing about this game is it is not a new game by any means it came out as a Mac game nearly a year ago.Surely there are better games than this around. It is a very standard solitaire game but please don't take my word for it try the demo and then decide.I downloaded it in a few seconds so that gives you some idea of the quality of this game.
I don't recommend this game.

Game 8, some games when you get to the 8th game are not much difference so does this pull a punch? Of course it does. I now have all 8 games and each time there is a wow factor and you think it can't get any better. There are the usual attributes that make this game series what it is known for, all the regulars are there, ok Max the dog can get a bit annoying with his barking but the devs are forever looking at new angles and really put a lot into making these games. I don't want to give too much away but it is a challenge from the word go, a fairly easy level 1 then off we go. Each level there are different tasks and they progressively get harder.
As regards the demo to get the most out of your hour's demo play on relaxed, that way you can get further in to the game to give you more of an idea, then if you purchase play on what ever level you like.
I did this whole game on relaxed level in order to get a feel for it and it is a challenge on relaxed so now I am upping the anti. There is so much to do in this game that you will never get bored if you are a TM buff like myself. The odd level is a bit less tasking every now and then but I think that could be to let you de stress a bit and give you a rest,bit of a calm before the storm if you like. Still good fun though.
I did find however that the last level could have been a bit more of a challenge, Don't get me wrong it is still a challenge but I felt could have been a bit more of a task to complete. It was not what I feel a final level should be like
I did buy the CE version of this and this is just a standard 50 levels with no puzzles or extras but still one of the top TM games out there so whichever one you get you will not be let down if you are an avid TM fan like me.
What I did like about this is it gets fairly challenging in the demo time, a lot of games are not that good in the demo time so give a wrong opinion of the game, on the other hand, some games start with a challenge then cool off but for me this is a challenge all the way through and lives up to its reputation of being one of the top TM series produced, in my opinion.
One last thing I will say is (This is the same in other games in this series) that it would be really handy Devs if you could number the levels on the map instead of having to hover over a marker to reveal what level it is. The levels are all over the place, so much easier to locate say level 15 if you could actually see where level 15 was. Apart from that I am very happy but please demo first, do not take my word for it.

Those that know me know I am not a great hopa player.I get bored very quickly but not with this. If you are not up for a bit of scaring then this is not for you, of course try the demo but just be a bit weary. They do warn you about this. I am always on the look out for something different and find this fits.It has enough pull to keep me interested and all I wanted to do was carry on. I like the way that you can totally set the level you wish to play at, adjusting hint times etc , everything really so you can set the game how you wish to play it. The hog scenes which are usually what bore me very quickly are a joy and for me to say that is a rare thing. For the more hardened Hog experts then maybe too easy but for me it provides me with enough challenge. I am more into the puzzles and am enjoying them. I completely recommend this game. The devs have put a lot of hard work in to this game and if only others put the same effort in to their games, oh boy would we all be happy.
I recommend this game!

There are hops and there are hops, this one is by no means a bad game but there are better however I am not a hardened hop player but this game is ideal for me. This will not appeal to everyone but if you just like to tinker with hops then this is ideal. It is not often that I prefer a CE as usually the extras do not warrant the extra dosh, but in this case when a deal is on go for the CE.In this there are the right amount of hogs for me I prefer puzzles but that is just me, we are all different. Bit of a balance as to if I reccomend this game or not. I put not purely because I believe the CE to be better but if you need to watch the budget then go for this one

Fortunately I played the demo for this somewhere else so knew what to expect. Please don't be put off by the first few levels .They are not a true indication of this game. At first the cartoon like graphics gave me the wrong idea plus the stupid interactive guide is back but you do not have to use it however I would prefer a proper strategy guide as believe me this gets quite challenging further in..You get more and more challenges and need to defeat the skeletons and turn off the portals and unless you have enough resources built up they just keep coming back. There are puzzle pieces to collect in order to unlock the bonus level in each round. There are 70 levels in this but not sure here if that includes extras for a CE or bonuses. It is a bit unclear. This is different to the Hercules we know but I think it needed a change and there are no speed pills or any other concoctions to take here. I am well enjoying this and yes there is the wonder if you get enough extra in this for a CE but I so wanted this I just could not wait till the SE comes out. It is not going to suit everyone but I really am enjoying this game. I had to change to the normal cursor as the one I started with was not very responsive so you may need to do the same. To get as far in to the game as you can in the demo which will give you a better idea, skip all the banter and don't search for the puzzle pieces unless you come across them as it will get you further in and also play in relaxed to start as I feel it will give you a better idea of the game the further you can progress in the demo. Certainly a buy for me
I recommend this game!

If you have never played this series before then you may enjoy it.Its not that bad that it is not worthy of trying the demo, give it a try.But, it is virtually a repeat of the previous games but what in my mind makes this worse is the CE of this game came out 9 months ago in beginning October. so it hardly fits in to the "New game every day " claim
I don't recommend this game.
Solve fun nonogram puzzles and help your favorite robot catch the criminal!

I love nonogram games but I am not that much of a fan of Hogs and to start with one is a big no no for me. Ok to put a couple in here and there but not to start with one. I know lots love them and fully appreciate that but we are not all the same I would not mind if you can skip the hog but you can't . The actual mosaic games are good but please do not start with something that is not what the game claims to be
I don't recommend this game.
Take a Road Trip across the Western United States, visit beautiful locations, find hidden objects and complete fun puzzles!

I am not a great lover of just hogs but there are so many different mini games here that I am happy. One thing I would not is that you can skip a mini game but you need to go into the menu then it gives you the option to skip the game.I don't do Mahjong and at first thought arrgh I need to play this but as I say you can skip. There is a lot on offer here and I will be purchasing this. There are 4 different settings so something to please many people. Always try the demo first before you buy. Enjoy

Ok it may be a funny time to review this but only just bought it to complete the collection and our winter is June July period and we always have mid winter Christmas, so we get it twice and this game fits in nicely. A wonderful challenge, some easy levels and some very hard levels but it is full of what makes this game series so wonderful. If you pardon the pun, it's really cool.
I recommend this game!

Sometimes you can be rather surprised by playing older games. I have all of this series and can say that from the oldest to the newest they never disappoint. Yes the graphics are not as good in this one but if you are looking for an enjoyable TM then this is a good one to start. I have only just purchased this one as I thought as a first it would be not so good but it is very entertaining and each of this series just gets better and better. Enjoy
