This game is so appealing to me. There have been many so so HOPA'S lately but I found this one kept me interested and great for Halloween.
A bit of ingenuity here is that you can decide if you want more puzzles, more HO's or an equal amount . Brilliant idea as we all have different tastes, some want more hidden objects and some like me are puzzle freaks.
Often you read that there are too much of one or the other, now you can have your choice. Once you decide to buy you can have another profile and try it another way. Great fun.
Thank you GrandMA for this as well as a brilliant and enthralling game.
You can even opt for a match 3 which for me was not that interesting and I found the hidden object games very interactive ( Never thought I would hear me saying I prefer a Hog to a match 3)
Others can describe the ins and outs far better than me so try the demo and see what you think.
I usually say in demos to skip the dialogue but not in this case,I found it a crucial part of the game . Enjoy, I know I will

The last couple of games from this Dev have seen an improvement and I was hoping we would have here but however good this game could be is totally ruined by this dreadful siren. Yes you can turn the sound effects off but then it's daft not having any sound effects at all. The music is not bad . In the last game many complained about this awful siren noise which activates as soon as a robot is dispatched. So did they listen ? No they did not. In my previous post I said there was just one mode that was before I knew what High complexity meant. So there are 2 mode levels not that it aids the game in any way.
I quite liked that you could move the time capsule to different areas but even that got a bit boring when you had to keep moving it backwards and forwards..
I like to have sound effects and I know some will like to play with them off but not for me. One hour of that racket and I am reaching for the painkillers.
As always try the demo but I found it very samey and boring and I am not prepared to buy this to venture a bit further. Just when you thought they were listening.

I normally hold this producer very high in my esteem. Not this time. What a let down and a visit from health and safety and a bit of social distancing is called for.
I managed to trawl through 5 levels and that was on easy. The strategy guide is useless and the tutorial is no better. I would have preferred that you could read about all the tasks etc and how to accomplish them.
Everything is so slow in cooking/brewing etc, one can only hope that it speeds up with bonuses later but I am not prepared to find that out.
The people are so close together I kept clicking the wrong one and often the correct one did not respond. You are virtually left on your own in the kitchen to find out what goes on .
At the moment the folks are very calm but soon the grumpy ones will turn up and I am struggling with the easier levels.
This could have been batter (Pun intended) but it is not for me .
Try the demo and see what you think but it seems to have been put together with not much care and attention, a health and safety issue for sure.

What seems like a gentle stroll through the park turns out to be a very confusing visit to the optician's.
Nothing is what it appears here. I spent ages looking for a non existing parrot which was actually a hatchet and I only found that by using the hint.
So in the end when I could not find what I was looking for I use the hint and it turns in to something else. How confusing is that? What looked like a brown mess on the floor turned out to be a bar of chocolate. You certainly need your detective skills for this one. It is a shame as it is quite a jolly jaunt but it is so badly executed.. Only one mode which is super relaxed so no timer just take your time and you need it for this game.
Try the demo and see what you think but for me it is a definite no.

In my opinion this is by far the better buy over the CE. However like most diehard TM fans I just could not wait. You still get to find all the caches and although I loved playing the CE, for 6 extra levels it was a big let down.
So, if you have not bought the CE go for this one
There is a fair bit of banter in this so to get full use of your demo skip all this and also skip finding the caches until you decide to buy. These are always hard to find' Most of this is very familiar , build roads, farms etc but these are always very challenging and a joy to play.
One thing I am very pleased to find here is you can now multi click. Before on these games you would need to wait for a worker to return. Not any more.
Check out the CE game page for great reviews to give you a further insight in to this game. Enjoy

I was fortunate enough to do a survey for this game a little while ago and was able to state my opinion. This shows a developer cares when you get the opportunity to have your say and I thank them for that. What a joy this game is.
When this series first came out I had my reservations but now I am an avid fan. You have the usual collecting etc but there is a different thing to accomplish in each level and the joys of festivity are abound here which is something we all need in these trying times.
There is a 90 minutes demo here which is a great thing and rare in a TM game. There is so much going on that 60 minutes would be a bit short.
A great thing is that you can turn the dialogue off so those whom do not like dialogue you are catered for. I always skip dialogue in demo's so I can get further in the game having said that now I have bought it I have turned it back on as I find it very humourous.
As well as the strategy guide you also have quite a comprehensive help guide which can be accessed in the guide.
If I did have one thing to point out and I am only nit picking here is that in the first levels I sometimes found that the bark etc blended in a bit too well to the brown tracks so anyone with eye sight problems may have to look a bit closer..
Once past the early levels then everything is nice and bright. Enjoy

The first few levels of this game were a bit off putting for me but then it steps up another gear and gets very interesting, for me anyway. There is a lot going on here and its a bit different from the norm which I like different.
The first game in this series I had a real problem with the graphics as some of the tiles got lost in the black background but no such problem here.
The tiles are bigger and brighter. Great Halloween theme which has come out at the right time not like some themed games that seem to pop up at any time of the year.
Others can explain the details much better than me. Its just a really good Halloween themed game. Enjoy.
Try the demo because we are all different so what suits some will not suit others.

The other reviews indicate this is an old game that was out on Mac here in July 2019.
Since those reviews there are indeed walk throughs and by looking at these walkthroughs first I was able to complete 32 levels before my demo ran out and that is over half way through the game .
There is no way how ever much I liked this game which I did am I going to buy this for probably an extra hours play even less.
This could have been so much better if more thought had gone in to it and a much longer game provided

I broke my golden rule with this game , I bought it without trying the demo as I knew it would be good but I still say you should always demo . So did I do the right thing? Of course I did.
This developer always adds to the game so even though you have the usual pick up and collect there are many different things added such as building temples to do different tasks on each level. I love the way Ares battles the bats (Pun intended)
As in the previous game where you had an Olympic village this time you have the Acropolis where you go to upgrade speed of workers etc.
To get the most out of your demo ignore that so that you can get further in the game in your demo time. This is a challenge even in relaxed which is great. There is so much to do. There are some handy power ups here such as a free building upgrade or remove an obstruction which came in handy for me as I did not have enough food to carry on so once I removed the blockage it was fine.
All these little things are what goes to making this one of my favorite TM series.
50 standard levels plus 20 bonus levels and a very good strategy guide plus the usual bits that you could do without .
This is well worth the CE price and with the BOGO sale today the hardest part was deciding what to get to go with it.

First off I love solitaire games and most are challenging, lots of extras, what does this have ? Nothing basically.
The options are virtually non existing, only one mode . At least we could of had boring and super boring but no . nothing.
Graphics are dreadful, not the sort of thing you associate with fairies. Yes I know there has been a curse put on but even the fairy whom is supposed to brighten things up is dull.
You can't replay a level, can't do much at all really. One to magic away. If you want to play a standard easy game then this may suit so try the demo and see what you think
