This line of games is not technically superior nor challenging by any means, and I wouldn't exactly call them creative. The artwork is disturbing with disproportionate people. Cringeworthy music at times, but I have learned to laugh at it (or mute it).
Despite all of that, this line of games for whatever reason has a calming effect. So I continue to play them and like them.
Well designed game but copies puzzles from another game

This game was fun enough to start. The graphics are great and the storyline is interesting. After a certain point, though, I found it hard to follow and had to resort to the hints and map to tell me where to go. A lot of back and forth. Also, I was disappointed that they copied many puzzles from a past Mystery Case Files game. Please be original!
I don't care for this game because it is pretty slow moving, and also I can't get past the very elementary graphics. I enjoyed it a little bit at first, but it becomes very repetitive and isn't very challenging.
Wow, I love this game so much! Maybe the graphics are somewhat simple, but the game play is fun and challenging. I mean, I even cuss sometimes when I can't quite get the expert rating on a level.
Also, I love finding all the caches. I have played this several times over. I hope there is a third!
This is a well designed game in all aspects. It was challenging enough to keep things interesting. I also like the easter egg hidden caches. Game play for me stretched out over several weeks. It was nice to be able to sit down a play for a couple hours, then come back to it, and have the game last as long as it did. Great job, developers! I hope there will be more!
All roads lead to Rome! With thousands of years of art, history, and culture on display, it's the perfect destination for your next Big City Adventure.
I gave up on Mystery Case Files when they initially switched developers. The games are not classic MCF by any means. That said, I tried this game on the demo and liked it well enough to buy it. However, the game rapidly degraded into going back and forth, playing a puzzle here and a puzzle there. The puzzles honestly make no real sense. Plus there is no real logic or intuition involved in finding the solution to the game. I am generally pretty good at these games, but in The Countess I resorted to looking at the guide at each step because I had no idea what I was supposed to do next. Please do us all a favor and end the MCF line.

This is my first Rescue Team game, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was able to stretch out the play over a period of several days, and there was just enough challenge to it to keep me interested. Looking forward to playing more games in this series!
