The story started out well with the opening scene, but that was it. There was no further story progression at all.
There was no map which made it almost impossible to navigate with no clear paths anywhere and movements that didn't make sense (clicking to go right, then clicking up to go back).
There were 2 dull, frustrating mini-games in the first hour.
A few of the hidden objects had strange names that made them very difficult to locate.
I spent the majority of the game going from scene to scene clicking hint "There is nothing to do here at the moment" trying desperately to find the next thing to do.
For years, Barton Mansion sat abandoned, a haunting reminder of an obsession gone wrong. But something sinister still lurked there...and it's stirring.
Islanders are here again! Become part of a new adventure and help the shaman get his true appearance back! Follow them in a fascinating journey through time and make new friends!
The patterns of trees and grass (and other things in the background) were way too busy and distracting. Each item to remove or gather did not show the standard green/blue/red circle telling you if you are able to remove it with the current resources. That small annoyance ruins the whole game.

Pros: good story (not great) fun to play Cons: You had to go back and forth to different locations, which I normally like, but it was so much that I ended up using the map for the last half. There were a lot of times when I didn't use the tool near enough to the goal and it reject my attempt. A lot of times. But still, very enjoyable.
As I say above, I spent way too much time watching doors open and close, or just moving from one scene to another. A few of the puzzles have obvious solutions that are not accepted by the game.
