I wasnt sure what peoples issues were with this game. I liked it a lot. I had no problems and I liked the story and it was fun to play. New Orleans means a lot to me and I was excited to play it. One heck of a cliffhanger though. I didnt find 1 mask and it sucks you cant go back to find it. Oh well. Enjoyable game.

My only negative thing as the game progressed it got really slow mainly towards the end. So, I dunno perhaps there's more memory used towards the end or something? However, when I finally got finished with the game and went on to play Bonus game it was perfectly fine again. So, obviously my guess has some merit to it. Maybe not memory but video or something. This is another twist on fairy tales Alice in Wonderland. Now, I've never been a fan of that tale but this was a decent game and story. The Beyond objects you really had to look for some of those. The cards were easy enough to find. All around a good game and I did play the demo first before buying because too many times it seems I buy before trying it and I dont end up liking the game and waste money.
I recommend this game!

I played Dark Parables before years ago. Couldnt remember why I didnt like it til I bought this one. Now, I like good graphics like anyone else but not when the scenes are really busy with so many things in it where its hard to "see" anything. I know I can lighten my screen but didnt help much. It was certainly challenging. The parables and little bug looking things were hard to find. The story line was Swan Princess and I'm sorta over the fairy tale stuff for now.
I don't recommend this game.

Perhaps they are running out of ideas? I dunno but I thought the story line was really strange. How did Paige even get this illness? What was it? Blue spots? Um ok. It was ok a lot of temper tantrums and not by Paige. Boy...Patrick and Emily whined a lot! LOL. Not my favorite of the franchise. The Honeymoon by far is my most favorite.
I recommend this game!

Obviously this isn't Emily so its going to be different. It was and I DID enjoy playing it. Lots of drama and the story was ok its like a reality fashion show. It was obvious who Lori really was. One thing I didnt get was why the pretending? Why do a scam? Im guessing for a comeback? I dunno. Anyways, the levels were really repetitive. The challenges were and it got boring. Its a poor excuse for a Collector's Edition. Not worth the money. Its best to wait until a regular version comes out.
I don't recommend this game.
Not all fairy tales are just stories…

I've played Surface games before but this one just feels off. The story is a little weird. I'm all for fairy tales but I dunno this just feels off. I dont know what it is but after playing 20 minutes I quit. I did do the demo just in case I hated it before I bought it and I do so I am glad for that. I know some other people feel as I do. I was SO excited to play this and its a bummer I was disappointed. :(

I enjoyed the first one, but this was a little bit boring and too easy sometimes. Especially with puzzles. I thought to myself...thats all? Uh ok. So, not as challenging and the story itself wasn't that impressive. It wasnt a horrible game but not as good as others.
I don't recommend this game.
Why would anyone want to stop Christmas from coming?

This was a good game and I did enjoy playing it. It was a bit juvenile I thought, but still playable to those kid at heart. The music wasn't too annoying but I would have liked more variety of Christmas type music. Story was good and visually it was really good. Is the Collector's Edition worth it? I'd say yes but only if you can get a deal on it like I did at 60% off. There was a bonus game but not much to it.
I recommend this game!

Hard to find games these days that have a good story, graphics, and play well. I actually enjoyed it a lot. I purchased the game before playing so it wasn't a demo. Bonus game was a lot of fun too. The puzzles, some were easy and some more difficult. HO scenes were really unique and interestingly different. There are morphing objects in each scene. Then you also collected the little tokens in the rooms. So, really a fantastic game. I was mad by the end of playing the actual game because it didn't end how I liked lol. Then played the bonus and all was well. :)
I recommend this game!

I was expecting a lot especially from the good reviews. I was expecting a great story and graphics and bonus game that comes with a Collector's Edition. It fell flat! I was bored. The story line was ok but not much to it really. It was short for a Collector's Edition. I was done in an hour...longest hour ever! I paid for it and wished I didnt! Ugh. I was disappointed. It wasn't the worst ever but not good by far! So, think twice before wasting money.
I don't recommend this game.
